looks like he held him in place for the first quarter, but is getting blown apart in q2. That being said, is still racking up more than enough points for a rookie priced player.

i thought the cats came out and said that hogan will be doing lings roll this year. Not for me as a tagger

because it's not as though ling averaged pretty much 80+ for nearly a decade in that role...

you would rather take a tagger then someone free of a tagging role??

if he's been guaranteed a spot I'd take him over a high scoring gysberts-esque player any day.

As opposed to a rookie player who may get vested and average 65?

*average 65 not including the vest.

If Hogan is playing as a Ling replacement averaging 85+ I will take that for 130k every day of the week!! I am on this kid!

Very interesting!

Not sure if I like the fact he's going to be a tagger as its generally counter-productive to DT scores (Cornes being the possible exception to the rule), but at his price, along with the added job security of Lings role and decent score he posted, he has to be considered now, and seriously.

Currently have Hogan in. Really impressing so far. Gives me 25K to spend on a few rookie upgrades.

He'll be shadowing the oppositions ball magnets - meaning he'll be in or around the action for most of each game! Lockdown roles are only DT death for mid-priced or premium-priced players!!

+100. Another solid game will seal the deal for me. Mature age and makes for a great cash cow!

Perfect example is mzungu last year who scored over 100 in most of the games he was used as a tagger.

Guthrie has looked good from what I've seen so far; I just hope he makes it into the round one side. Hogan is a shower kick but gets a lot of the ball. Should be good for DT so long as he doesn't get dropped for poor disposal.

I have Hogan locked and Guthrie on the radar no doubt. Horlin-Smith has looked good but I am not sure he is a fantasy prospect this year...
