Seeing as it is only pre-season friendlies, I'm happy to put your team up. However, I'd rather you didn't list any players that played last night. Just PM your team sheet to me.
lol, i haven't done my team either, but i don't know is playing and who isn't, and who played last night and who didn't.

Kinda. You also need to list a sub and 5 emergencies. Then out of all those listed players you need to choose a captain and a vice captain as well. :)
Plus why is Redden in the ruck? ???
jarrad redden port adelaide, not jack.

So how do we use the sub rule?
Do I have to use my sub before he plays, or can I wait and see how he scores?
Can I set my emergencies later today? Didnt realise we needed them.

So how do we use the sub rule?

The sub rule is as follows:
One of your emergencies is nominated as a Sub. You can activate him at anytime provided he
HASN'T played yet. He can replace anyone on the field (whether they have played or not) but if they have played, you'll lose that players score.
- Subs can go on in any position, but only half the score counts if they play out-of-position.
- If your sub is activated as an emergency, you no longer can activate him as a sub.
- If your sub replaces your Captain, your Vice-Captain's score counts as the Captain's score.
Hope that answers your question MC.

My three in that game are Devon Smith, Whitecross and Frank.
Smith is killing it ;D
Whitecross was before being subbed :(
And Frank stated as sub (was pretty much expecting that)...
I'm really not liking these NAB Cup squads...I'm now worried that I wont have any emergencies left after tonight! :o
Yeah, it's definitely testing our squad depth for sure! But many of our players wouldn't get a chance to represent otherwise lol
Well Miles and Schneider have come on for the second half ;)
http://www.afl.com.au/news/newsarticle/tabid/208/newsid/129971/default.aspx
The Essendon and St. Kilda game has been cancelled.
Teams that have players playing in this match will have their emergencies now playing.
Luckily I had none, but there goes my first 2 emergencies...

No, cause Bartel played and we know exactly how well he did. ;)
Lots of people have been affected due to subs and the Ess v StK game, wouldn't be fair allowing you to throw in Bartel.
It is only a friendly match after all, it's not like there money on the line. :)

After all I would of had him named anyway! :-X
Maca if you've noticed no one else has really named their stars. Why bother complaining that you can't play Bartel? ???
Yeah sorry Maca :( Unlucky, but you did miss the cut-off. You'll probably win the flag this year anyway :)
Maca, be glad you have a captain who played. Look at the team you're playing, the New Dehli Tigers...
...both their captains didn't play. :o :-\
Tell you what though, I'm glad I told everyone to name 6 emergencies...
...few teams are going to need most of them! :o
UPDATE: All teams have been updated, with who didn't play.
QUESTION: Do you want DT scores for the preseason games for the meantime (they'll be changed when SC scores are released), or are you happy to wait until SC scores are released?
I'd be happy with just DT scores for the preseason, but whatever is easiest for you c4
Also c4, Hamling will be my emergency for McEvoy yes as he is my only ruck emergency? That is how I see emergencies working this year. That an emergency replaces a player in that position

Yeah, that's what I was going to do. I'm just scratching the players out now and then going to throw emergencies in where they best fit later.
Can I name 3 more emergencies?

Sorry but if you look at the Team I posted in the thread for FS I has Rockliff as Captain and Bock as VC.
http://www.fanfooty.com.au/forum/index.php/topic,45130.120.html
The New Delhi Tigers management Team have consulted and here is our Team for this weeks match
Defenders- Corey Enright, Nathan Bock, (vc)Jackson Trengove, Kyle Cheney
Midfielders- Tom Rockliff, (c) Nick Dal Santo, Jared Polec, Rhys Palmer
Ruckman- Orren Stephenson
Forwards- Daniel Giansiracusa, James Podsiadly, Brent Harvey, Ian Callinan
Utilities- Max Bailey, Sam Sheldon
Emergencies- Kirk Ugle, Zac Dawson, Sam Lonergan
Maybe bad read with the c after the name rather than before. Fish will confirm my email to him appointing Rocky as Capt and Bock as VC,
Is confusing Ringo, to me that looks like Dal Santo and Jackson! But the other combo makes slightly more sense
Ringo the confusion isn't because you put the c after but because there was also a comma first. If you had written Tom Rockliff (C), Nick Dal Santo there wouldn't have been any confusion ;)
So now I get Bartel then? Joy! ;)
Thanks Guys - Lessons learned, Great to learn during friendlies not comp.

If Griffin gets games during the season it could be possible that I will be playing with 3 rucks in my 15! :o
Gave Gibbs the C.
Reckon I've got Purple covered, and it was good to give players like Hamling a run

The first provisional result (based on DT scores, opposed to official SC scores) is in!! ;D ;D
The Buenos Aires Armadillos have defeated the Dublin Destroyers 14.8.92 to 11.11.77.
More results will appear throughout today so keep a look out.

Basically he dived by 10 I believe.
so 92 points = 920 (plus or minus a few) and then creates the goal/behind scores from there. Think it looks better :)
Ah ok, very simple then :)
EDIT: That means the Pumas scored a very accurate 14.2.86 ;)

Pretty much.
The Armadillos managed a total of 916 points, compared to the Destroyers total of 773.
Rounding up and down and then dividing by ten, they scored 92 and 77. :)
Make in a few goals and points and there you go.
Also, for your interest, the quarter time scores are in fact based on positions.
1st Quarter: Sum of Defence Players (then rounded and divided by 10)
2nd Quarter: Sum of Defence and Midfield Players
3rd Quarter: Sum of Defence, Midfield and Forward Players
4th Quarter: Sum of all 15 players
2nd provisional result is in!
Brewers 11.14.80 def by. Magpies 14.14.98.

Carn the magpies
Another provisional result has been listed and what a close one it was!
The PNL Reindeers have fallen agonisingly close to a win over the Sao Paulo Pumas, losing by just 3 points; 12.12.84 to 12.15.87.
The SC scores here will be very very interesting....
Turns out we picked the right captain. ;D
Another close provisional result is in! :o
Cape Town Cobras have defeated the brave Wellington Warriors by just 2 points, 13.13.91 to 13.11.89.
Jeez, a few close pre-season matches already....let's hope there are many of these in the season to spice things up! ;D ;D

Ringo, the boys were right and unfortunately I did read it as Dal Santo and Trengove were captains. But as you said, lesson learnt. My advice would be to note your captains separately when listing the team sheet. :)
Thanks everyone for participating this week, it's been great fun and it looks like we are in for a very close season! Once the SC scores have been released, I'll tweak the figures and announce the official winners!

Just looking through the 1st quarter scores, and it seems that the Armadillos picked the third best backline, only behind the Brewers and the Cobras. The Pumas had the worst backline in terms of getting the ball. :)

Based on DT statistics so far:
Best back line for the week: Berlin Brewers with 274 points.
Best midfield for the week: Cairo Sands with 400 points.
Best forward line for the week: Seoul Magpies with 302 points.
Best rucks/interchange line for the week: Berlin Brewers with 210 points.
Worst back line for the week: Sao Paulo Pumas with 134 points. The team they played, the Reindeers had the second worst on 138 points...
Worst midfield for the week: Berlin Brewers with 165 points.
Worst forward line for the week: Mexico City Suns with 138 points. Destroyers had the worst full forward line with 148 points, as the Suns had two donuts.
Worst rucks/interchange line for the week: Pacific Islanders with 95 points. ::)
Highest non-captain individual score for the week: Patrick Dangerfield from the Seoul Magpies with 127 points.
Lowest non-captain individual score for the week: Tom Williams from the Moscow Spetsnaz with 0 points. (Yes, he played).
Highest scoring forwardline with Patty Dangerfield leading the way. More things to come for the Magpies!
Yay lowest scoring defenders :D
Although to be fair I was missing Sam Fisher, Alex Silvagni, Beaut Waters etc who are all very capable of out scoring Seb Tapes 9 points!
Egh, that'd be right.
Daniel Kerr was the highest scoring player in SC for the week. >:(
