whats everybodys thoughts on these 3? will prob no more after this week.
Lake: if hes body is right i know he can score much higher than his price tag and at worst will make 100k before upgrading
hargraves: in the past has def been used as a running def and again at worst will make some cash before an upgrade/downgrade
howard: will prob play on the wing/half back, great left foot i think could be the dogs new Gilbee
my qn: do u think its managable to start with all 3?
I'm thinking by rd 11 ill either have upgraded or downgraded at least 1 of the 3. and if i havent it means there ave 80+ so ill take the hit during byes. is it really that crazy?
backs: goddard shaw duffield lake howard hargrave clarke (ellis bugg)
having the 3 will allow me to have swan pendles boyd and Ablett in the starting mids.
I'd only pick one of them, maybe two if you feel particularly nuts. But I think it would be an achievement if they averaged 80, and I reckon they'll average (collectively) in the 70's.
However, if one or two of them gun it to 90+, i'll happily eat my words and jump aboard!

cheers.
its hard predicting scores but if all 3 ave in the 70s ill have made easy 100+ after i sell them before the bye. 70+ id take for 4,5,6 defenders early on.
If I would choose one it would be hargrave
I'm going Hargrave. Having all 3 would be nuts, but if you can get them all out before bye-time for premiums you'll be laughing.
I think the game has moved on from Brian Lake. Even if his mind and body are right I can't see him contributing a great deal to the doggies this year or ever again.
Don't get all 3. That's just a recipe for disaster.
Particularly Howard. Christ, everyone must think he is superstar. Only been a couple of robin games.

Bloody oath. Just for lolz I upped all his stats to 99 in NBA Live '08. Still was crap. :P
I am keen on Howard -> Hargrave -> Lake in that order. Currently I have none in my side though.
Howard is this years suckling. Kwame brown is a dud. Greg oden worst number one...durant went behind him at #2

Big call with that on Howard.

Not it's not on his robin form take very little note of that. It's more on his last part of last year, the fact that he will play on a wing/half back and for willy last year he was great especially in the granny. He just racks it up and will more than likely take plenty of marks to go with his kick, plus 3rd year. Hes primed.
I just see all 3 a the best priced def who wont be in my side past rd 10 other than Howard.
I am looking at hargrave!
Now, we wait for the Bulldogs vs Carlton match on Sunday Morning (Western Time)...
get all 3?
Howard will assume the old gilbee role of playmeaker off halfback but has some developing to do yet, inconsistant exactly as said above. (3rd)
Lake has the big potential ceiling and should last he is all fixed up now health wise. (2nd)
Hargrave has the best current form and has scored as high as avg 93 (2009) so like Lake can have an elite season. (1st)
Think Howard will be the big surprise packet but i'll get him in if he is ripping it up later can't trust him from round 1 on nab cup form unfortunately. His big game last round was without Hargrave playing, his second was average, his first was great..
