Re your team - Your weak spot seems to be the rookies. Walsh, Milera, Shenton and Wilkes....I don't rate any of them. What about Dev Smith or Weedon in the forwards, Neale in the mids and Yagmoor, Brown or Townsend in the backs? Waters and Shiel are going to be very underdone coming into the season. Waters for Hargrave seems an obvious swap and it will free up a bit of cash.
Everything else looks pretty good. :)
Hey guys. Changed my team again :P
DEF: Goddard, Carrazzo, Deledio, Birchall, Waters, Hargrave, Ellis - Bugg, Darley
MID: Swan, Ablett, Murphy, Thompson, Kennedy, Magner - Gibson, Kavanagh
RUC: Cox, Giles - Redden, Stephenson
FWD: Franklin, Fyfe, Cloke, Martin, Porplyzia, Smith, Cameron - Weedon, Kerridge

What do you guys think? :)
It looks better each time you change it. Quite good atm and you mostly just have to check the rookies in the round 1 team sheets. Weedon, Kerridge, Kavanagh, Gibson and Kennedy are no certainties IMO.
What could be a better option than Kennedy? preferably MPP (B/C or C/F) with the cash I have left :-\ I was thinking along the lines of Docherty, Hampton, Zorko (for the MPPs) or maybe someone like Hogan, Wingard, Clifton, Horsley or Clay Smith (pure mids)
I wouldn't worry about Kennedy. A more pressing issue is what to do if Gibson and Kavanagh aren't named Round 1, which is more than likely. You'll need all of that 53k because there aren't a great deal of viable rooks under $100k.
Is this a lock already??? :-\
DEF: Goddard, Carrazzo, Shaw, Birchall, Hargrave, Ellis, Bugg - Darley, Morris
MID: Swan, Ablett, Murphy, Thompson, Smith, Shiel - Stevens, Magner

I rate Scotland much higher than Carrazzo

I was thinking that as well but i reckon that scotland is a little bit too expensive to start with and carrazzo has been doing well in the NAB. But what do you think of my team? :)
Yeah it's pretty solid mate. I personally don't rate Gray or Hargrave but that's just my opinion. I'm struggling to stick with a squad this year hey. I think i'll still be swapping and switching up until full lockout!
I have Cox and HMac as my rucks with Giles on the bench but I'm thinking of downgrading HMac and playing Giles as #2. So unsure....

I reckon that Hargrave could be back to his old 2009 self and I rate Gray quite high this year. I think that this could be the year that he could step up to the plate and have a breakout year. Also, his MPP is a bonus.
I had HMac before as well but ended up with Giles as 2nd ruck. I was thinking that during the NAB match where he smashed it, Goldstein wasn't playing. During this season, if Goldstein and HMac play together, then both of them rotate through the forward line and ruck which could mean the DT points will just divide between them. With having Giles, you get extra money to spend elsewhere in your team and Giles is good enough to be starting on the ground :)
I'm shuffling around with my team and I was thinking....
Chapman and Montagna VS. Gray and Murphy + $15600
Hmmmm......... :-\

The 1st option is quite strong but Gray could be a great smokie
I reckon this could be a lock! ;D

What's better?
Waters & Cox + $21500 vs. Shaw & Leuenberger? :-\
To be safe with a single gun ruck I'd go with Cox and Waters.
Lock and loaded! Bring on 2012!
