Im thinking of starting 3 Rockies in my backline, my backs are
Goddard, Deledio, Heppel, Suckling, and 2 of Morris, Blee, Wilkes, Clarke and Ellis
In my opinion I would rather have one more rookie in the backline than any other position because I don't think they have the ceiling the others do Mids Rucks Forwards,

yeah thats fine,,IF you have to go light then backs are the go. there seems to be a few decent back rookies as well, im very likely going to be doing it aswell. will depend on lake's performance during nab cup, to finalise my structure
no hes saying that the difference in scoring between a defense rookie and premium isnt as high, which isnt a bad point.
I'm going with a 3 rookie backline

I'm going for a 3 rook backline as well as i feel there is much better value in the fwd and mid premos and why not stack up on them? Also the back rookies seem pretty decent and as mentioned the difference between back premos and back rooks isn't as much as other positions.
my bad for the misinterpretation bud. you have a fair point and a valia arguement to it. its just whether 3 out of those 5 rookies will at least play each week to avoid you getting a donut (apart from the mpp rule) but yeah i might do it myself but like always have a good look at all the fish in the sea during the NAB and your set to go bang bang bang in 2012!!
I will be playing 3 rooks in my backline ... knowing my luck if all of my 5 rooks actually play the 2 highest scoring rooks will probably be on the bench ::) ... Hoping Clarke,Morris and Mohr will be good enough with Ellis and Wilkes / Smedts on bench
