Cam Richardson, i feel confident im not alone here.(http://i1143.photobucket.com/albums/n624/Grazz64/fishing.gif)
The 3 players who really burnt me last year Higgins, Didak and Sylvia. Although I may reconsider on Sylvia.
Agree with Grazz on Richardson too. So much promise and then disappointments when teams announced.
Yeh Higgins and Sylvia got me to, I buggered up Sylvia for everyone as soon as i bought him it all went pear shaped so i appologise for that.
Ahh Sylvia. Smashes ~150 SC against Richmond in the SC Finals, and then gets suspended.
Probably good thing he misses round 1.
Though Melbourne have an incredibly favorable 2nd half fixture in 2012... Must resist urge....
same, i brought in sylvia, jamar thinking they have an easy draw during the finals. burnt me bad.
Burgoyne >:(
Took a chance, never again.
Sylvia can get screwed. Killed me twice in a row. Never again will I consider that useless prick.
I had Sylvia, Higgins & Burgoyne from Rd 1 also...wont be getting them again...also not being hired again will be
211
JRoo
NRoo
Rioli
HShaw
Dixon
Gilbee
(I still had a few more bad decisions in 2011 such as Grimes, Lester & Astbury in rd 1!!)
I put $50 that one of you guys makes the same mistake this year ::)

lol there's every chance. Oh dear Lord please dont let it be me.Hail Mary Hail Mary Hail Mary.
Our Father who art in heaven hallow be thy name.......................................................
Don't see why you would stay away from Shaw bowyanger? He is one of the only full premium backs going around and not injury prone
He doesn't have the best head going round...........
players who have burnt me that spring to mind -
Kurt tippet
grimes
rioli
gray? could he do it in 2012 - probably not to gain a starting gig!
Sylvia

I to got burnt by him this year but as CF said he is a premium back and i doubt he'll screw up again in the next 12 months atleast lol. I'll be forgiving him at some stage next year to good a backmen not to.
It's gunna be a very interesting start to the year with so many new coaches. I guess players like Chappy, Goodes, Pav, Nroo and Bolton are all starting to get to that age where their bodies could start failing them and also a risk of getting caught out by the speed of the game

Yeh eventually all the old favourites pass on so to speak and the next generation sweeps through, i still think all those you mentioned have alot to offer still but i get your point. Ive always had those four so when the time does come they will be missed but as i said the next generation will come through like Rockcliff, Redden, Beams etc as examples.
i see no reason why you can't start Pavlich in 2012, should be more permanent CHF with the midfielders that should be all available at start of season. and he averages his best when playing that role with contested marks and his goal kicking is exceptional.
goodes does start slow but the bloke has barely missed a game, can he play 400 games?? freak!!
but yea i agree, chappy wasn't at his best in 2012 i think he had an interupted preseason surgery, the way the game is in this stone age pre seasons are absolutely essential for premium output

I to like Pav going back to perma CHF, Chappy's been hurt a bit by GAJ leaving they played kick to kick but still has plenty to give.

Well he isnt the brightest crayon in the box, Ive had him maybe 3 seasons now, every time I get him something happens, I have to learn as the seasons go by if I want to keep lowering my overall.
Im more than willing to stay right away, there maybe plenty of other choices this year as teams last year were starting to put players that can play the game very well down back. Players like Burgoyne, Salopek, BJ, Lids, Gibbs, Yarran, Davis, Hartlett, Broughton...players Im not saying Im going to have...just examples
Dont think Shaw will mess up for awhile haha famous last words, so you may be safe for 2012 but yeh he's a couple of stubbies short of a carton no question.
I'm not a coward so i'll be jumping on Higgo, Lake, Shaw, Grimes, Drummond, Porplyzia, Chappy, Sandilands, Rioli, Sylvia and Hayes.
meow to have a heart attack by round 5?
meow to keep talking extremely obvious and blatant lies like usual.

If someone tells you they are a pathological liar, can you believe them?
1. Higgins
2. Green
3. Sylvia
4. NRoo
5. Didak
They might all fire in 2012, but a confident no from me to all of the players above

well you started it
Picked Higgins 3 years in a row and each year he hurts me.
I may be dumb enough to pick him again though :-X
Or...Smart enough?
Nobody is ever really off the table for me though.

i thought he was good 09 for a break out season even if it was 17 games.
2010 was horrid & 2011 so so
Higgins? Haha, people never learn.

+1 not gonna be burnt again with higgins ,so he's one i'll stay away from ;)
Think J Brown is off the list for me because even when hurt he is such a tough Cvnt that he plays injured and thus dosnt score well.
I think with full pre season Ill pick Grimesagain maybe my one big risk , just cant not for some reason he is a gun and when he gets a few games in a row scores well.
He could easily average 100+ no problem.
grimes anoyed me, i'm not punting on injury prone players anymore. they are likely to get general soreness if they manage to string a season together anyway! its just a silly risk, i've learnt but fortunately i haven't been burnt too badly. higgins isn't an option for me.
only players i will look at with injury issues ae the low risk ones for example - porlyzia

im looking at Nroo, rioli, syliva and shaw is my first upgrade target and i have almost locked in Jroo. I can see why you would stay away from some of those guys but Jroo was injured and is massively underpriced. I could be wrong but looks like a bargain to me.
im also really liking grimes and if anthony gets games which he may becasue of JZ suspension and wells likely missing at least a few games early could crack into the team and stay there.

i can't bring myself to take the risk on NRoo this year ... i'd rather take a punt on the big Brown-dawg (but don't think i'll have the balls to do that either) ...
JRoo is one i'm watching, agree with Holz on this one - going to watch how his rehab pre-season goes ...
I can't bring myself to pull the trigger on Rioli at the moment ...
Shaw will be an in-season upgrade as always, i like riding the Heater rollercoaster but i saw a Pies Arizona trip report he had some minor surgery and was in the rehab group
Sylvia and Higgins will not be worth the hair-tearing heartache - also Sylvia couldn't get himself together to be selected for Int'l rules so that's just too many attitude non-adjustments for mine ...
