Title: What the new coach needs to do
Post by: FisherSaints on September 18, 2011, 08:18:07 PM
This is a summary of what our new coach(whoever he is) needs to do

Players to trade

Clarke
Koschitzke
Dawson

We need a key forward and maybe another tall backman.

Who to get from other clubs

Brian Lake???

What now
I think we should get rid of Goddard(he is a gun player but this year he has played awkwardly, started the year horribly, come back fine) and get O'Meara(the kids a gun) and a pick or two.

Rooey I think we should wait a year but put him in the midfield like Pavlich. He should go on a high performance camp.

The team should go to a place like Arizona but make it their own. I think Dallol, Ethippos(hottest place on earth) or Oymyakon(coldest place on earth)

negative, it was Lyons fault he was playing shower because he had him deep in defence too much, Goddard to takes Roo's place, and Roo should go into the midfield.

add Jason Gram to the trade list too if we can get anything for him :P

Maybe a high performance camp would be a good idea, but the players need to spend more time on skill training, their inability to kick and handball astounds and frustrates me

They might not have any say in it next year, if he decides that's where he wants to go

You have have Roo, or Kosi, or Dawson, or Gram, or Clarke, or all of them :P that would solve our issues ;D

Fisher why on earth would you play rooey in the midfield!  ::)
He has the tank, but he has zero agilty plus he isn't a ball winner.

Also Saints should be doing everything they can to keep Goddard, not move him on.

his kicking is the only problem.. albeit a big one.
Fantastic career though and was unstoppable in his prime.. just the zones have killed his gamestyle, not to mention his screwed knees.
