What does everyone think of him?
Looked like he had an alright first game, even if they did get thrashed.
Cant kick though :-X
He is from my area and dominated games, but his kicking was disgusting.
Love the look of him, he can work on his kicking.
They didnt play him earlier because his SANFL form had been poor but looked okay today. Mind you, I dont rate Gibson as a def.

nah, it's hard to improve a kid's kick. They can't improve Gumbletons

Looked ok, but remember Schoenmakers was on him. I reckon I could outbody that guy. :P
Don't think so Sid, think it was Gibson.

It was Schoenmakers most of the night. Murphy and Gibson spent short stints on him. Gibson mainly took Schulz most of the match.
Butcher showed a lot of promise. His kicking was suspect, but a good pre-season with someone working closely with him should fix that. Should remain in the side for a while to develop further. There is no substitute for senior experience when developing a player.
