Probably won't surprise anyone but oh well :P

Stephen Coniglio. Looks a bit like the Joker in this picture...:P...Has senior experience playing in a Premiership with the Swan Districts last year, won the Larke Medal, has an AFL ready body, a nice burst of pace, can get the ball inside and pick up the ball outside where he can use his composure and clean ball use to great effect.
Looks like a star from what I've seen.
its Alex Benbow :) just letting you no
i have to wait around 50 picks till i get to mine

Jonathon Patton is the best Key Forward prospect in this draft. He has a great mark and is a team player. Despite being a large player, he is known for his workrate and leads on the field which make him a much more all round forward. Even when he is having a slow game, he still keeps giving leads and trying to outwork his opponent. He's a smart player who will be great for building a team around for a Dynasty.

Haha, never noticed he spelt it Alec :P. Nice catch Dyl ;).
Just so everybody remembers all unpicked GC rookies are available in this stage.
Korza's pick although is a few minutes from being skipped :-\.
BB traded his pick away to Boomz although not sure if he traded THIS pick to Pothead as it just says first round ::).
Shaun CROOK, dont know who he is but the name sounds good.

I agree. Would have taken him at 1 but there was just no need with Darling and Reid already in the team and LeCras capable of playing the role of a 3rd tall.
Tough call to say he will be as good as JB or better when he hasn't even played at the highest level though, his playing style has just been likened to JB ;)
List is now updated with picks.
Hey MTTY, think you may have a few picks wrong in the list. I've had my picks down for a while and they are:
#8
#9
#13
#17
#19
#26
#27
#30
#32
#35
#44
#45

Some may be a little off on my part although (Later picks) but I have #8 and #9 from Pothead (latest trade between us). I can go over the traded picks and try to see to make sure everything is right?

Thanks HP, but i think #10 is right as after Holz got that pick he traded it.

alright so it's my pick is it, i will just quickly do a bit of research then i will post it up :)
still don't have a clue who to take but this guy sounded alright from what i read so i will go with Chad Wingard

Great pick should go top three in the draft this year. Ok with my pick i will take Sam Day. He is still to develop as GC but has huge potential as a FF, top three in last year's draft. Can play in the ruck and has a great pair of hands.

im almost certain i traded my original pick eg 8 away. I cant remeber trading away pick 10. Im pretty sure at some stage i had pick 8 and 10 and i think i only traded away pick 8.
So Dyl is skipped :(.
I have a double so I'll go:
Dylan Shiel. He's was signed by GWS last year and was touted as a top 3 pick this season's draft if he didn't. He's a classy midfielder and gets alot of the ball, all which he showed last season when he shone in the Stingrays lineup.
Matthew Buntine is my next pick. A Balf Back Flanker who can play shut down roles or rack up the possessions. He's a great team player who can act as a quarterback sort of player for me if needed.
BB's and then Dyl's pick (Has to pick twice if he doesn't come on to make his other before then). Should change the name from Ossie to The Return or Dylsta as he's handed the team over ;).
Dyl!
Ahhh.... Billy Longer... need a Sandi replacement

Holz trades Hartlett + 3rd, 4th and 5th round pick in stage 3 for Carlile and 1st round pick in stage 3 (So you got HP's original first round pick here number 10)
Pothead trades: Brett Deledio + Daniel Wells to Holzman for: Bulldogs pick #1, Daniel Rich and Holzmans 1st round pick in stage 3
(You traded pick 8 to Pot here.)
Holz trades Mcevoy + Rich + Bennel + pick 10 in stage 3 to Ossie for + 1 pick at eagles + Ossies Under 17 pick
(Then you traded pick 10 to Ossie)
Hope that clears things up. ;)

Great pick was wondering wether he would slip or not.
Very very tough choice for me here. Going to go with..
...Mitch Grigg
Was very close to taking Elton, who undeniably has a lot of talent, however I felt that perhaps a lack of tall talent may have seen him rated higher than he should have been. That combined with the relatively short dynasty and Elton being a long term player I decided to go with Grigg.
Grigg has already matched it at senior level, dominated throughout the season with Norwood, racking up touches at will. Has a nice burst of pace for an inside midfielder, and a lethal left foot. Got a good head on his shoulders and is a terrific decision maker, stoked to pick him up at this stage in the draft.
Another good name Alex Sexton I will take him

Indeed a solid pick. Thought he would have slipped further but is one of the best Key Defenders in the draft. Grigg was my next in line so will go for my backup option :P.
My pick in Dom Tyson (name played a part in this choice :P) has been likened to Simon Black especially due to his footy smarts with the ball and spot-on precision with his left foot. He will add to my very young contigent in the midfield and is one of those midfielders you can build a team around.
Lol thought it was Tom Dyson. :P
I'll take Sam Darley. His versatility reminds me of Goddard, also has a great pair of hands and a great user of the ball. One to watch for the future. Played at senior level in Tassie so has a bit of experience agianst men, also won the Division 2 best player at the 2010 U18 Champs from which GWS picked him up as one of their 17 year olds.

Great pick future SC star, great efficiency.
Lets go with a highly rated Joshua Toy from the Suns list. He is the perfect young small defender I can use in the lineup and is was said to maybe have challenged David Swallow for top pick if he didn't sign for Suns.

Great pick HP. Would have been a whole lot better if he was used through the midfield instead of as a lock down defender.

Well he's in the depth right now but has the body to play Half Back well. Whether it be as a runner or a lock down defender. Was a tough choice as I was tossing up 4 other possible options :P.

Yeah i know what you mean too many choices. Congrats on 10,000 posts btw. ;)
Cheers MTTY :).
There is alot of talent as we can scoop Suns/Giants players as well. Makes the talent go from top 20 to like top 30-40 at a stretch.
Elliot Kavanagh will be my next pick, didnt get to play in the championships because of an injury but apparently he is a very good player

Yep. Been injured this year but is still rated top 10 type player due to previous years.
My pick will help for my Ruck depth for coming seasons. Todd Elton is one of the top ruckman in this draft. He can play well as an agile ruckman who can run in the midfield. Or can play a Riewoldt like role at CHF with his great marking abilities.

Yes.
Josh Bruce should be a gun KPP for GWS dominated at 18 level and can play CHF/FF/CHB.
Jordan Kelly, freak hbf and bp, privelleged to have trained with and watched, hardest working. surprised lasted this long
Some KPP going early :o.
Pothead is up, then me, then Boomz, then me, then Hilly, then me, then BB and then me again :P.
Israel Folau
My pick will be Will Hoskin-Elliot. He is an electric small forward/winger with his speed and ability to find his own ball. He's got great feet and rarely turns the ball over. Touted as a top 10 pick but top 15 is almost a certainty 8). Made the 2011 NAB AFL Under-18 All Australian team.

Haha! He was my next pick but will go with my next option....
Lets go with ANOTHER young Key Forward in Charlie Dixon. He's a great mark and a typical old fashioned FF. Patton, Lynch, Vickery, Buddy and Dixon will form quite some depth for Key Forwards in my team 8).

So you took my advice :). Can play HBF, Wing or HFF. Not very speedy but a great boot 8).
Next pick is Daniel Gorringe.

It's for Alex ;). I'm pretty sure my pick will slip to me :D.
Tim Golds.
My pick is Tom Mitchell. He's a ball magnet and is efficent by foot as well. Can play in and under or as an outside mid. Would have gone earlier but Sydney nabbing him with Fasth-son selection in the 1st round.

1 hour left for Dyl then its my pick, has any one pm'd him??
Dyl!! This is my last pick before I'm unavailable...
...... John McKenzie, a good small Tassie player

yay pot can pickup Josh Caddy now, was pick 7 in the afl draft right before heppel, should be a fantastic pickup injury has put him off peoples radars but he is back this week.

Really sorry to do this to you MTTY as this draft has been fantastic so far, but if someone does want the Essendon list that is OK.
Some stuff happened on the weekend and I probably won't be getting on FF much.

Hope all is well Alex :).
Is it just me or have people lost interest in this draft? :(.
It's probably my fault HP I have had little time to enforce picks over the last week due to exams but they are finished so it should all be back running smoothly now.

I think its the fact its late in the draft, i assume it will pick up when it comes to the delisted picks. (mainly because i have 5 and im very active).
what happend im just waiting for the fun to start in the delisted stage.

It's BOOMZ picks still but a lot of the draft players seem to be on holiday. :-\
I'm back now just got home though so give me some time... I know Alex has been busy too... How many picks do I need to make?

just the 2, hopefully people will start passing on pick soon. I know some people have said they will pass at some stage if they are going to do that would be a good idea to say it as soon as they know they will do that so MTTY can take them off the list.
Jack Hutchins & Luke Russell
Welcome back Boomzie :D. You were sorely missed!
Should we just scrap this stage and go onto the delisted so we can finish the game soon.
I don't want this stage to be scraped as I have more picks in this stage :P. But I think we just have to remind everybody about this as think many forgot.

with the 24 hour rule you could probably take all your picks now
Yeah I've been busy with some school work but will pm everyone tonight
i'll take Shane Nelson.
Ok I pmed everyone but Sid as I remember him saying he had to withdrawal if Im by mistaken
i havent got a pick left in this stage so im just waiting for it too finish.
I'm still keen but the only way we'll get anywhere is if the 24 hour rule is enforced...
Okay guys i have sent pm's otu and have some replys but will wait a few more days for the reply's thanks for the patience. If someone doesn't reply their turns will be automatically skipped.
I'm helping Hilly with his picks so I know he's good to go :).
i already picked?
MTTY, to get this draft moving, perhaps allow people the option to either take their picks in this stage or they may choose to skip this stage if they aren't interested. Will really help speed things up?
Ok everyone i have updated the opening post with passes for the players who have not got back to me concerning whether or not they're playing. So pot your up.
Pot has the rest of my picks i traded them in for caddy.

Message from Sid when I sent a PM to see if I can get his rookie picks. So can I have them?
Sid can't take part and Korza doesn't usually come on during the off season :-\. Find other regulars to replace them with?

We can try but the other option is to simply dish out the picks evenly.
Could if everybody else is interested or allow them to skip if they want (the picks).
Sam Docherty will be my pick
DamiAn Williams
I note that there is also a Damien Williams on the list. I'll go with the "A" one, cos no idea who the "E" one is ;)

So close to my pick if Pothead can pick again :P.
clay smith
I'll happily take Taylor Adams with my next pick 8).
Boomz is up before me again.
Gerard Ugle. Don't remember my team much :-X think I did a trade and then didn't update it and can't be stuffed looking for the thread...
My next pick is Daniel Markworth.
Quote from: Hellopplz on October 05, 2011, 09:27:37 AM
Name: Daniel Markworth
Position: Forward
Age (Draft Day): 19
Height: 189cm
Weight: 78kg
(http://resources1.news.com.au/images/2011/05/30/1226065/781777-daniel-markworth.jpg)
Markworth isn't the best footballer in the draft, but what he does have alot of is potential. He's got a very sporty background as he use to play Tennis and basketball, so you know he is very athletic. He usually plays up forward as a tall leadup forward. He's got great acceleration which helps in his lead up and his leaping ability isn't that bad either. He hasn't been playing that long but has a decent kick on him in which he can boot the ball 55m. Of course he is probably a more long term prospect than a right now kind of player. He is still in his early days of his AFL career so I'd watch for him in seasons to come as his athletic ability can do wonders in the forward 50. His speed also allows him the flexibility to move into the midfield although is usually kept up forward.
Markworth's Stats (http://www.sportingpulse.com/team_info.cgi?action=PSTATS&pID=192369607&client=1-3020-111723-150804-14528497) show quite the player. He managed 19 games for the Calder Cannons this season in the TAC Cup, 13 of which he finished in the Bests (Considering he's a forward, a great effort). He kicked 34 goals in the 19 games, including 5 hauls of 3+ goals. He seems cleaner with his hands than his boot, but he'll become more efficient with his boot with experience. He doesn't butcher the ball but it's a mixed result really. He can use his pace and apply forward 50 pressure, which I think many teams like in a player, especially a Big man. He's not a great contested marker as he prefers getting in front and letting the ball land with him.
Hilly is now skipped :(.
According to my picks (Which I have written down at $48 #55 #64 #66), it's my pick but front page says it's Alex's ???. If my picks are correct, then I'll choose Myler Bolger.
Either way, it's BB's pick before back to Ossie.
Sid, korza, BB 's teams are all available for 3 new managers to take over. BTW Ossie its your pick.
I will do it, but I need to know what exactly has happened, and what team of the available can I take
