We had a lot of fun with this last year and I am running it again

Who is going to get the Nominee for the round? I will keep this topic on going all rounds. So you can gloat if you get it right
Competition starts round 1. End Upon completion of round 24.

Prize is a kick up the bum JK. This years prize is Prelim tickets of your choice and awarded after round 24.
There is now a runner up prize $100 Bunnings gift voucher   as our last year winner  HillHero13(honourable mention) did not want his prize  Quote "i'm 15, what am i going to need from bunnings?"


After careful consideration and feedback the rules have been updated in order for the competition itself to be more interesting.
Ok to make it official with rules SET in place.

*Choose three players in order of preferred choice.
*Points are awarded on a 3-2-1 system.
*3 points awarded if nomination of the round is your first choice.
*2 points awarded if nomination of the round is your second choice.
*1 point awarded if nomination of the round is your third choice.
*1 extra point to the member who names the Nab Nomination of the round first(must be their #1 choice unless no other FF member chose the nominee in their entry).
*In the event that no-one chooses the correct nomination of the round 1 point will be awarded to the first 7 entries.
*Please note that a player CAN NOT be nominated more than once if they have been nominated in any previous round.(example: A player that has won a nomination already (see nomination below for each round).
*Members MAY nominate the same player as another member.
*If your player is not listed in the line up of 22 you may edit your choices (in the same post please).
*Only your first post/entry will count for each round.
*You may enter at any time not just round one.
*All weekly entries close 1 hour before lockout(no entries will be taken into consideration after this time under any given circumstances).

Sorry but if people can get on the comp and change their DT/SC after teams come out(even with a Thursday night game) they can also post an entry when status is open. I will not open until round five nominee has been announced on the official AFL site. With Pre-lim tickets as first prize there is no room to be lenient. It would defeat the purpose of having a competition.

I don't bother with AFL (lags too much for me) so I use HSun. No problems MP as the others said. We don't mind as you are doing a fine job running this thing 8).

Round 5 was a tricky situation in more ways than one lol. Based on the poll, round 4 entries determined round 5 results.
No extra point was awarded as no-one had first pick and there was more than one FF member who voted for the round 5 nominee.

I agree with BS although still think Heppell and Smith should be the top. Steven is covering for Hayes quite well and wouldn't be suprised if he got it. Will be a very close year this season I suspect. No clear stand out but a few who have risen to the top.

Well 2 new entries make an appearance in the list in Cruiseon and Davey _4_PM. Ossie skyrockets up the charts with a big 4 Points in Round 22 helping him bypass Soutter and put him in a podium position. Yet Fletch, Boomz and Hellopplz did enough getting points in the rounds with no winners chosen to maintain top 3 positions. Hellopplz in a great position to get the win this season with Boomz needing the 3 point winner to manage to leapfrog Hellopplz for 1st place. It seems unlikely but Gold Coast did get 3 wins this year so anything is possible!
