Just to get it out there, I made it based on my DT effort, but had enough to upgrade from Lucas in DT to Rioli in SC, and Currie in DT to White in SC. I've not made any trades yet. Averaging 2048, so enjoy tearing it to pieces. Note: no Collingwood, No Melbourne, no Stanton, and no Ablett!

always quick to add your baby comments but i thought you might of had some idea.......crappa good luck
thanks Harza, sorry to disappoint. How many trades you got left?
Defence is strong
Rucks are good (McIntosh instead of Jolly)
Harvey for Sewell and your midfield will be quite strong
not a fan of j reiwoldt
Much appreciated MT.
First trades made:
OUT Harvey ($487,900) IN Cassisi ($482,900)
OUT Brown ($234,500) IN Stokes ($235,600)
Wish I hadn't rushed it - probs shoulda taken Cogs, and gone harder for a better forward. Damn.
No,
I'm not convinced about Coughlan
He's played 2 games in 2 and a 1/2 seasons.
Could be Cousins all over again (injury wise)
He might play well all year - but I reckon he's a good chance to get injured again, so don't look at him as a missed opportunity
if you want a good team then when you upgrade players you need to get someone who is going to average around 100...eg. not cam stokes
so far this year my upgrade players have been:
n riewoldt
waite
power
hodge
s johnson
Forward line breaking down, back line troubled by Hooligan and Malceski.
OUT Malceski ($315,000) IN Cheney ($161,000)
OUT Riewoldt ($299,200) IN Giansiracusa ($375,400)
Gonna cop a zero for the rushed trade to Cam Stokes dammit.
Cam Stokes. why? He was no certain starter in the hawks line up anyway. Not much of a upgrade- Brown to Stokes...
Too much of a rush to cover forward blots. Broke rule #4 - "Don't Panic".
for someone who thinks they know alot about supercoach, actually knows very little
Sorry to disappoint. I have opinions, whether I know anything or not. You are entitled to yours, and entitled to express them. Enjoy your fantasy footy.
Trades this week:
OUT Petrenko ($192,200) IN Grimes ($188,400)
OUT Houlihan ($378,600) IN Gilbee ($452,000)
14 still to go.
This week:
OUT Waite ($501,300) IN Newman ($490,600)
OUT Cornes ($470,000) IN Hodge ($485,900)
12 to go.
dont comment firesword, your just wasting peoples time.
This week's trades, and the full team as we start the second half of the season, with 10 trades left now...
OUT Otten ($404,100) IN Ablett ($723,100)
OUT Rioli ($430,500) IN Ballantyne ($94,200)
and the team...
Goddard, Newman, Adcock, Gilbee, Birchall, Hodge, Grimes, (Cheney, Broughton)
Selwood, Power, Cassisi, Rich, G. Ablett, Rischitelli (T. Tuck, L. Anthony)
Cox, Jolly (White, Jacobs)
N. Riewoldt, Pavlich, Giansiracusa, Higgins, T. Walker, Skipworth, Garlett (C. Stokes, Ballantyne)
forward line looks a lil shaky. i like the backline
White covering for Cox this week. No trades planned, none done (cat ate phone line).
white isnt reliable, wnat about Nat. 3 goals!
Trades this week,
OUT White ($237,800) IN Naitanui ($169,200)
OUT Giansiracusa ($487,000) IN Porplyzia ($449,900)
Nearly bought Cloke - nearly broke rule #1. Damn, I shoulda done it, but Garlett playing gave me the chance to cash out White and get Naita for $$ and coverage.
8 trades left.
gold digger you only made 100k out of those trades hope you have some one else cash in with those 8 trades of yours. ;D
what sort of scores are you getting prospecter?
2038.79 average over the season, and 2,165 this week. Pav and Cox on the bench (as was young Anthony - that was a mistake!)
averaging 2108.29 with 2 0 Pav and Rioli on the bench and Cox on the ground (had no cover) winning all my leagues and all this and I'm in my first year so I hop to improve next year
OUT Pavlich ($480,400) IN Murphy ($356,100)
OUT Rich ($419,300) IN Kirk ($552,400)
Still paying the forward price of a hasty trade to Cam Stokes!
I gotta ask, what was the theory behind the Stokes trade? Surely u knew he was no lock in the hawks side...
no theory hibbo - pure hasty panic!
OUT Skipworth ($372,300) IN Chapman ($619,000)
OUT Cox ($548,000) IN McIntosh ($405,000)
No Ablett = fail!
Plus you trades Cornes, that will come back and bite you in the ass just watch!!!!
I'm happy with Chappy, you can see that GAJ is there, and Cap'n, and what do you reckon is wrong with the backline, Blueperson?
Rischitelli is a real problem. i sold him. he's in bad form and he's not a supercoach person.
Agreed, but Tuck isn't even getting a game, so he's the bigger problem I think.
Also have forward problems that are bigger - Stokes, Walker and Garlett - 2 need to go, and Porpz has a question mark after today.
OUT Garlett ($174,300) IN Franklin ($387,100)
OUT Adcock ($481,500) IN Post ($119,700)
i traded garlett this week 2 but for rioli and finally my teams coming 2gether!
OUT Higgins ($427,300) | IN Pavlich ($470,600) |
OUT Walker ($239,100) | IN Rioli ($322,700) |
That's 2 trades 2 buy back 2 players I had at the start, dang it!!!!
GODDARD, NEWMAN, GILBEE, HODGE, BIRCHALL, BROUGHTON, GRIMES
(CHENEY, POST)
ABLETT, J. SELWOOD, KIRK, L. POWER, CASSISI, L. ANTHONY
(RISCHITELLI, T. TUCK)
JOLLY, MCINTOSH
(NAITANUI, JACOBS)
N. RIEWOLDT, CHAPMAN, PORPLYZIA, FRANKLIN, PAVLICH, RIOLI, BALLANTYNE
(R. MURPHY, C. STOKES)
not convinced with the mid.
Agree with roo boys & also Grimes could be of a concern as well?
Kirk, Power and Cassisi should be of concern aswell
Hmm, on form, and I've had him all year, I'd have said Birchall was my biggest problem. I've lost far to much $$$ there!
Quote from: roo boys! on August 01, 2009, 10:52:29 PM

How are those 3 players a concern? All of them avg around the 100 mark and are guns! Not sure what you're on about?
Happy enough with performance this week - 2130 gets me into the 8 in all 3 leagues. One is around 15,000, one is around 340, and the other is around 330. (Scraped into those last 2!)
Unlucky about Chappy, whats the plan for him?
Less happy there - hope Sheeds has him too! Wait for the lists and see who else might get a game - hope Sheeds is stuck with a blot!!!
word is sheeds has no trades left
Yeah, I read last Th or Fri that he was planning to blow them on round 18.
No trades left, knocked out of the finals in the harder two leagues.
Here's how we started...
Goddard, Birchall, Chornes, Waite, Adcock, Ryan Houlihan, Malceski
(Broughton, Petrenko)
Luke Power, Joel Selwood, Rischitelli, Harvey, Rich, Travis Tuck
(Liam Anthony, Andy Otten)
Darren Jolly, Dean Cox
(Sam Jacobs, Jesse White)
N. Riewoldt, Pavlich, Rioli, M. Brown, Higgins, J. Riewoldt, Skipworth
(Jeff Garlett, Taylor Walker)
Here's the team to play the second semi...
GODDARD, NEWMAN, GILBEE, HODGE, BIRCHALL, BROUGHTON, GRIMES
(CHENEY, POST)
ABLETT, J. SELWOOD, KIRK, L. POWER, CASSISI, L. ANTHONY
(RISCHITELLI, T. TUCK)
JOLLY, MCINTOSH
(NAITANUI, JACOBS)
N. RIEWOLDT, CHAPMAN, PORPLYZIA, FRANKLIN, PAVLICH, RIOLI, BALLANTYNE
(R. MURPHY, C. STOKES)
The forward line gave me the most trouble in the end. The Stokes trade was dumb. Roo is the only player in the forwards to be there all year! Pav and Rioli went out and came back in.
Never intended to hold Risky and T. Tuck all year, but forward problems, backline injuries and Big Cox folding left me without an opportunity to upgrade.
Also, deciding to bring Ablett in was costly in trades - I reckon you've just gotta have him from the start.
