I picked him at the start and because he scored 91 I have held onto him
Forced me to lose Raines however Gilbert's been great as a replacement
I am hoping after another upgrade this week that when Hurley comes back I'll finally have a settled defence for a while and can focus on my mids.
Yeah I also picked Hurley and need him to play as I want to spear petrenko for Broughton.
My backline is the problem with it reading as Hill,Newman,Fisher,Cornes,Malceski,Rance,(Hurley).
Midfield is sweet, Kerr,Ablett,Bartel,Haselby,Hodge,Rich.
How many rookie's do you have in your backline???

He is listed as Test on the injury list.
I dont know if he is coming back this week, but with Ryder now seemingly the No. 1 ruckman, the Dons need another tall mobile backman, so they may well bring him straight back into the 1sts.

word on the street is petrenko may not get a gig this week, i got broughton & hurley on the pine so if he plays would relieve some pressure from my backline also!!! hurley looks the goods as well
Yeah im in the same boat and have Cheney and Hurley on the pine and Broughton not playing, so I hope hurley is in this week or im getting another 0. what are the chances of Cheney playing again any time soon???
don't have a clue about chenny mate.. i saw him play and did not go anywhere near him. personally didn't rate him, that grimes bloke may be in soon that doesn't help his cause. he's been an emergancie right (chenny) so really flower knows!! im not sure if i should trade out mitch robinson yet. but as i have beams backing up atm things r okay. but if i was in ur situation i'd be looking to drop chenny. broughton should play this week so u may get out of jail this week
Yeah thanks mate, it is a tough one re Cheney I mean I dont really rate him either but who knows with him being an emergency Melbourne must have some intention of developing him. but yeah im clueless. I think if Hurley and Broughton are both playing I might just sit on Cheney until maybe Grimes starts or another good youngster comes along, cant hurt I guess. I have 15 trades left want to preserve for a while.
Mitch Robinson, bit of a let down after his first game, I think he will be a good player though. your doing the right thing if you have Beams. I would sit on him for a while and see what happens in the next few weeks. Beams is a more than handy sub.
if cheney, broughton, or hurley dont play, have a look at Levi Greenwood, he has only played 1 game but with Hansen out he might get a run.
If you also have petrenko then ill be worried as he looks like getting dropped this week for Symes or Shirley
Yeah look trouble brewing I have petrenko. Even if I have to suffer a couple of zeros this week I think ill be right next week. Im going ok anyway scores of 2350 and 2230 last two weeks and these guys werent exactly contributing heavily.
If Raines doesn't play and Petrenko gets dropped I will cop a doughnut, apparently his performance in the VFL was nothing to rave about...
last week a massive let down for me with Hille, Petrenko & Harvey all on the field... AGHHHHHH
