Young Bomber Hurley out for a month

ESSENDON has suffered another injury blow with star draftee Michael Hurley likely to miss up to a month with a quadriceps injury.

The No.5 pick in last year’s NAB AFL National Draft, was injured during a kicking drill during the warm up at training on Thursday morning.

He is certain to miss his team’s clash with Fremantle at Docklands on Sunday and could be out of action for several weeks

This could hurt some coaches who planned on using him as a cover for raines

Phew - i dodged that bullet - i was a hair away from trading him from Raines at the start of the week, but a voice in my head said "don't be silly, wait..."!

and the best way to avoid it is trade fats and diligent.
