Title: Mid Field Trade options
Post by: Tmac8 on June 07, 2010, 08:21:16 PM
Hey guys,

I was thinking Bastinac to Gysberts and then go Martin to NDS, ive got

$22,500 in the bank and 11 trades left. Problem is that will make my bech

Gysberts and Shuey giving limited cover later in the season especially with

resting being an issue. Is that a decent trade and are there any better

options? appreciate it.

Thanks

Need to see the whole team to say if there are better options...

Sounds like good trades. But 1 of those 2 could be great cover for the year.

Getting there. Do you work in layout on a newspaper or something?

Looks like you have some issues in defence that might need to be looked out. Kennelly is potentially back this week (hopefully for your sake). I would guess that maguire is at least out for one and Cambell Heath isnt getting a game which leaves you with a donut.

yeah that is an issue, I am playing the bottom team this week  though, so

should still win even with the 0. What can i do to sure up my defence?

Gumbleton sticks out like a sore thumb.

Which Murphy have you got benched? The Freo or Bulldogs one.

Will have to wait for teams but Wonaemirri could replace Sylvia this week, not sure how well he will hold is spot. Hitchcock should be back soon.

Gumbleton -> Wonae

Kennelly -> Fisher/Grimes/Gilbee

Not an ideal trade to be honest. Wonae is a risk.

But Martin and Bastinac both have more money to make.. On the other hand Jizzberts is looking the goods.

Could go Bastinac -> Jissberts
Gumbleton -> Harvey/Gia/Goodes/Steve J
or
Kennelly -> Grimes/Gilbert/Gilbee/Fisher

Kennelly could be back this week or next but he has made all the cash he is going to.

You could keep him, but personnally I dont believe he scores enough to be a keeper.

Yeah got didak, Hargrave looks to be a good option at this stage

Yeah no doubt mate, leaning towards   Bastinac--> Gysberts  Kennelly --> Hargrave. what do you think

Hargrave would be the last back I would recruit in all honesty. Hasn't shown enough this year to warrent selection IMO.

Any out of Fisher, Duffield, Carrazzo, Waters, Goodwin, Grimes, Lovett-Murry

Anyone but Hargrave basicly.

For the Hargrave haters, I'd also look at Grimey or Carrots.

Koby Stevens from the Eagles will be the next downgrade option in the midfield!
Should debut on the weekend big solid lad ready made in and under player!
averaging 23 possessions a game for east freo could be a juicy option in 2 weeks if he plays well

Hope so.. McNeil would be even better though...!

i'm not sold on hargrave either..

recon there are definately better options out there - Carazzo, Duffield, Grimes at the moment are pretty cheap and a hell of a lot better option than Hargrave IMO

Worsfold doesn't seem convinced: "We’re really pleased with the way he’s going, [but] he missed out on the majority of the pre-season ... There’s no urgency to play him in the AFL because it’s a long-term picture with him and we don’t want him finishing this year sore and not being able to do a pre-season to prepare for next year."

That said, he does give him a big rap in the article: http://www.afl.com.au/news/newsarticle/tabid/208/newsid/95921/default.aspx
