I have made 4 trades so far this year. Some for injuries some not. I was sitting at my computer lat night with a glass of single malt feeling a little more than tipsy when I saw that Hitchcock was not playing this week. I remembered that he had had an ordinary weekend and that Pods and Rock were on the bubble and could not stop myself from trading him.
Any techniques of self control to stop trades like this?
Lol!
I think you should be able to take back your trades at anytime before lock out. That would stop it!
Don't drink and Dream Team for a start :P
oh ROFL.
"Classic"

That would be a very handy feature and would improve the usability of the site.
best thing is to have your mates DT passwords & do it to their teams haha
nah i know the temptation mate, had a few bevies last nite whilst watching the footy show and saw Moles wasnt getting a game, nearly locked in the TRADE for lucas (even though he was on a 7-man bench)
every week i just wana trade
u need to make up a 2nd DT now that u dont care about n do ur trades there
thumbs up for the single malt. have 4 supercoach teams so you can trade in them instead and take your dream team serious
LOL so I haven't invented drink trading, its been around for a while. Up there with drink texting. Wake up in the morning and wish you hadn't done it. I've got a SC team that I haven't used trades in but Don't worry as much about my DT injuries later in the season.
lol.
Don't go to your computer of a night,
set up a tent in you backyard and camp out if you've been drinking!
Did you feel good after your you hit the trade button

2 too many? ;D can understand 2 with 1 for all those trades but 4!!!!! ;D
Brodman, have you considered not going on dt during the week (except to check the scores from the round before). Only on Thursday/Friday. Thats what i do and only down 1 trade in dt :D
Nah its usually not a problem..... begining to think alcoholism may be the issue at play here... LOL. Don't have any desire to trade at all this week. We need drink traders anonymous.
*sigh* i have used 4 trades already and i have a plan that involves using double trades the next two weeks in a row. now im only 15 so i dont drink and i try not to go on dt but when your girlfriend dumps you over myspace it hurts and dt seems to be a good neutralizer of my anguish
just saw my father in law off with Brunei airline last night.
they don't serve alcohol on their flight at all!
talking about taking a high without the grog!
haha nice elxam
what no alcohol???????????????????????????????????????????????
NOPE!
lol nope to is that too many trades or nope to no alcochol or both
nope to no alcohol, absolutely nothing!
not nope to too many trades if you will have done 8 trades by rd11
cheers mate :)

Bad Luck about the Mrs dumping you on Myspace buddy.... chin up! your only 15, I garuntee you won't even remember her name in 6 months. Imagine the trades you might do if you used alcohol to ease the pain of the breakup!
im exactly the same!
what i do is allow myself to use up ten trades for the first half of season to get rid of any duds
then i only use the other 10 trades only for injuries in the crucial final rounds

cheers mate great advice :):):)
yeah i dont even remeber her name a week later :S
Don't trade while drinking...
Dont trade before teams are announced, but definitely get revenge on the B....H that dumped you on facebook.
To be honest I dont see alot wrong with that trade given some of the talent that has dropped in price considerably already. I think its a good time to build your team up if youve got the coin.

This is a football forum not a Lonely Hearts Club, tell it to Dr Phil Elephant Man! As for the idea of reneging on trades before lock out, seriously why don’t we just make it unlimited trades for all you mud larks that are useless at the real thing.
To many morons involved in DT these days, was better when it was just the purists
need a drink aj ::)
This thread was better before you posted in it adam.... If you don't like it don't read it. And even better, don't make comment.
Gentleman's hour is the time for a stiff drink which is 5pm of a Friday after checking teams. And lay off the preaching Adam.

I've got those urges again!!!!!!
wanna trade danger ----> Fyfe
Mckenzie------> Selwood
ideally my players could stop getting injured however im tempted to make my other half change the password and only she can log me in when i can walk a straight line
LOL nice one!
true if my players stopped getting injured or pulling out with shower excuses like leg soreness or hamstring tightness (then go out to the logies). Last week I had out in my mids, GAJ, Mitchell, Shuey, Mckenzie and Martin. plus danger in the fwds = 3 donuts!!! not happy
Don't go on your PC until lockout is in place! Then try and trade all you like! ;D hahahahaha

I flew Brunei from Australia to London - OMG!!!!
Good decisions come from Shiraz, you're sipping and appreciating it, taking your time to ponder.
Bad decisions come from Beer, you can't wait for it to finish, you can't wait for another and you have to keep taking a pi$$, rush,rush,rush.
Hmmm interesting thought rooster? What if you have had too much shiraz. that is the question. I would add bourbon to the list of bad decisions also.
Not under any influence (unless you count starting holidays as one :P) but decided to go Playfair to Henderson in SC. But was copping 2 donuts :'(.
New trading method I've come up with, drink COOPERS!
When you're unsure about what to do and your mind is clouded, the choice should be clear....COOPERS CLEAR! ::)

This is a funny thread :D
know someone who was given dried seahorses in vodka for infertility problems.
dried seahorses in vodka to keep it all under control!
burboun = double trades
stay away from the jacks thursday nights whilst watching the footy show
best plan is to stay at the missus as she hates me going on DT ;)
LOL what is this still doing up?
pretty sure when I started this thread I was drunk.... and had made 7 trades not 4
