Very tough choice. But I'd choose Brown first if I was selecting a real football team.

Riewoldt an incredibly close second though.

Brown on goal kicking? Just.

its too close to call for me. both are great leaders and can tear teams apart. brown i think has more courage in him so would choose him ahead of roo in a real team like ossie.

DT, Roo. Real footy, Brown NO DOUBT! Brown is such a head ache for teams and i can't recall roo being double teamed.

wat about buddy sure he is inaccurte but he is younger and has much more potential then voldt and brown
he kicked 100 goals in  year something brown or riewoldt havent
i would have to pick browny but buddy should be up there as well

Brown.
Simple.
Better goal kicking.
And as they were talking about this morning on one of the footy shows, he's a big solid tough guy. He runs into the mid.
Riewoldt doesn't.
Brown has Riewoldt covered and more.

Jonathan Brown all the way mate.
he is more experienced, has played and won grand finals.
He is bigger, faster, stronger.
He, in my expert opinion, is the most accurate kick in the competition.
He does not cry when he gets injured, unlike Riewoldt.
Is actually agressive in the way he plays.
He has a better run-up for set shots.
He is not a selfish player, and very much loves to set the ball up to team-mates.
Nick Riewoldt is an unexperienced, weak, slow, inaccurate, soft, umpire-friendly, selfish cry-baby.
I hope you agree.
Go Pies :)

What, you think if it was Riewoldt in the Lions team and not Brown the Lions wouldn't have won those three flags?

Riewoldt isn't selfish, and unexperienced?! That's just rubbish

Roo IS unexperienced, he has played in 2 or 3 finals series in his whole career.
He also cannot play in the midfield, like Jonathan Brown does when he pushes up.

you do know they both play similar roles. brown and roo both push up the field alot. brown doesn't play in the midfield. they were experimenting last year. the saints don't need another midfield = Roo stays at CHF.

you do know, if you listened to me like you should have, that JB is more experienced and has pushed up for much longer than Riewoldt has. Riewoldt only started pushing up in 2009

I do not think it is a matter of who is a better player.
Browny can pretty much use up no energy and just stand his ground and take great marks and convert.

Roo is not as strong as Browny therefore uses his skills ie, running pretty much the whole game to wear his opponent down.

They are totally different players. Their style is different but the one thing I can say that is equal on both is their ability to use their natural talents to get the most out of their game.

Very Close Poll. Riewoldt and Brown are both tremendous athletes but I think Roo is a better leader and can play midfiled very well.
