his first kick was his first and only game at port and his only kick aswel
harley traded out & became c of geelong.
LOL @ port they fail 9 times out of 10, that 1 is the lonesome premiership that they own...
a few defenders kicking a goal is pretty suprising.
at least we can see that like 1 out of 5 of them went on to become good goal scorers ;D

It has happened! I can't remember the name, but I know I've read about someone who not only made his debut in a grand final, but it was his ONLY grand final. If I find it, I'll post it. Happened way back when.
Do you mean only Grand Final or only game, I thought there was at least one as well, like very early on though.
Yeah, sorry, I meant it was his only game.

Yeah, sorry, I meant it was his only game.
It was Bill James in the 1920 Grand Final for Richmond
How many VFL games did Richmond premiership player, Bill James play?
1. Bill James played in the 1920 Grand Final in which Richmond defeated Collingwood. It was both his first and last game, making him the only player to achieve this feat.

Pretty sure he shot himself in the foot in the off-season, hence why he never played again...
Luke Shuey should be added to that listed as well.
A lotof good players there.. Some are actually suprising. Harley????
If you look at some of the Collingwood Grand Finals in the 70's and 80's they used to have a reputation for playing rookies in a grand final. I haven't researched this, just going from memory. It should be said though that it never worked.
