The lowest scoring team is eliminated each week, until we have a winner!
You can get immunity from elimination if you had the highest score the week before (up until round 10) - in which case the 2nd lowest scoring team is eliminated.
So, who has what it takes to be World Idol?

I can't do it anymore for cryin out glaven
Round 1
Berlin (1061) - LAME!
First time knocked out in Round 1. Boo. BOO!
Round 2
Dublin (1220). Pretty rough actually being eliminated this early with a 1200s score. Close calls to Christchurch (1227) and Beijing (1235).
Round 3
They held on for a few weeks, but Christchurch (1173) can only hold on so long without Sarce.
Round 4
Beijing (1215)
Round 5
London (1063) bow out off the back of a nightmare missed opportunity against Rio.
Round 6
PNL (1165) and the Fahey-up also shield their opponents Cairo (1186) from elimination.
Round 7
A lean couple of weeks for Cairo (1111) as its players hit a mid-season wall.
Round 8
Cape Town (1223) rues an off week.
Round 9
Tokyo (1243) had a good run, but when you consider next in line was NY (1355) and then BA (1430), we're starting to get to the end-game.
Round 10
Getting tough now. Rio de Janeiro (1324) the only team not to post 140+
Round 11
It was indeed a tough week for Toronto (1301), who all of a sudden face a battle to stay in the 8.
Buenos Aires (1361) on notice.
Round 12
Ding-dong, the king (highest scoring team) is dead. Seoul (1297) fell flat, once again allowing BA (1353) to escape unscathed.
Getting tough now!
Round 13
'twas a great run, but New York (1287) become the latest team to save BA (1349) for the 3rd round in a row.
Buenos Aires, Mexico City, New Delhi, Pacific and Rome remain.
Round 14
Bonk and Laird couldn't surge them forward this time, as Pacific (1249) once again is the team to bail Buenos Aires (1254) from elimination .
Rome is 1pt ahead of Dillos pre-scaling. Surely Buenos Aires can't survive this time?
Round 15
Turns out it was post-scaling! Buenos Aires (1430) luck finally runs out, as Rome (1431) escapes in a photo-finish.
Round 16
BOY IT WAS CLOSE! The Suns (1465) surged on Sunday, but it wasn't quite enough.
New Delhi Tigers 1483
Rome Gladiators 1471
Mexico City Suns 1465
Next week, New Delhi and Rome will battle it out for the 2024 World Idol!
And the winner is...
NEW DELHI!
The may have stumbled on the minor premiership, but the Tigers win a thoroughly well-deserved Idol from a remarkably consistent season, having not dropped below 144 since Round 8.
In fact, the 1443 it scored this week was its lowest since Round 7! But Rome (1416) couldn't capitalise.
Congratulations KB and SL!
Congrats NDT
