Title: BXVS 2023 Season
Post by: Ringo on March 10, 2023, 12:01:54 PM
We are starting to find some problems with UF transfer to AF and are opening discussion on an issue already identified.

For initial information I have finalised team draft and awaiting for finalisations to correct a couple of errors.

Issue we are facing is team structure.  AF will not allow Utilities to be named.
So we are limited to a structure of
Def: 4, Mid: 4, Ruck: 1, Fwd 4
With say 4 emergencies covering each line.
So do we stick with this or look to adjust to 15 or 16.
My suggestion and as usual open to debate and as our utilities are basically mids would be:
Def 4. Mid 6, Ruck 1, Fwd 2 With 4 emergencies.
Alternately could increase Def, Mid and Fwd by 1 to take to 16.

Open to any suggestions and with season to start at Rd 2 for us will use this and discord to gain consensus.

I think 5 5 1 4 with 4 emergencies as greater number
of decent defenders

.

Do you mean 4 fwds?

Def 4, Mid, 6, Ruck 1, Fwd 4 - Emerg 4

This looks the way to go for me, we all have plenty of mids.

Draft has now been completed can you kindly check teams in UF and advise any errors.  Not an easy last couple of days to sort.
Keep comments on structure coming,

Looks like we can only have a maximum of 4 emergencies in UF and adjusting may be a lottle complicated but waiting to see.
So my preference at the moment is this structure 4,6.1.4 + 4 emergencies one for each line.  Should you wish to play OOP advise in thread to adjust.  All comments welcome

Why don't we just name our utils on FF and adjust the final scores in AF

THoughts on this think we can do it with 6 emergencies named in order in the thread with the first two available not used to count as utilities.  Saying 6 just in case 3 have to be used for late replacements.

Couple of things to decide whether to continue

Do we continue the awards we had
Prince of Wales Shield for Minor Premiers
Dungeon Award team finishing last
Tower Award - Highest Raw Team score in Individual Round for Home and away season
Gold Ring Award: Highest Raw Individual score for Home and away season
Guinness Award - Highest averaging player for Home and away season
Crown Award: Team scoring the highest Total number of Points over the 15 Rounds
Premiership Cup

Do we continue Rising Star?

Do we continue Most Valuable Player calculated Manually
