Semi Finals, AFL Round 21

Berlin v Rio de JaneiroHead-to-Head: 3 v 2
Last time they played (Round 7): Rio de Janeiro Jaguars (25.10.160) def Berlin Brewers (21.11.137)
2019 Head-to-Head: 9 v 9
Purps' Takeaway: It's the whiny team from Germany up against a poor mans Sao Paulo in my MATCH OF THE ROUND! So, after missing out on a prelim due to picking Petty over Hibberd, I'm well and truly salted up and ready to go. I'll riot if Taylor, Steven and Rampe don't come back this week. I wholeheartedly believe my list deserves a prelim, but the thing is, so does Rio. The Jags absolutely smacked me the last time we played, showcasing the ceiling that only a couple of other teams have in them. But, the 2019 head-to-head is 9 a-piece, indicating this is really anyone's game. My tip... it doesn't matter. Look, flower off Rio, I really... heh, I really want to win this game. So yeah bloody, lose this one.
New Delhi v MoscowHead-to-Head: 15 v 3
Last time they played (Round 5): Moscow Spetsnaz (23.11.149) def New Delhi Tigers (21.8.134)
2019 Head-to-Head: 2 v 6
Purps' Takeaway: I'm immediately drawn to the head-to-head stats for this one. Despite the Tigers scoring more than Moscow in 15/18 games this year, the Spetsnaz got the win over New Delhi when they played this year, effectively costing the Tigers the EurAsia cup. The even more interesting part? The Tigers have only beaten the Spetsnaz twice; ever. I think there is some real mental demons in this one... or I suppose, 100% coincidence. Yeah, coincidence, that's the one. In a fair world, the Spetsnaz would be commanding a lot more respect where all of their injured players are on the park. But it's not a fair world, and New Delhi will put this one to bed early.
And don't forget reserves! Two teams (Cape Town & London) are in the Reserves finals this week but are not in the seniors. What I require from you, is that you
NAME YOUR BEST SENIOR 18 like you were playing finals. I will be scrutinising your best XV to determine if that is really who you would play, so as to ensure that the players available for the reserves matches are the ones that would normally be available. If I don't agree, then I will name one for you.

After GWS/HawOnly Rio fronted up last night, but I think it would be safe to say they didn't get the return they wanted from some of their better players.

New Delhi has the advantage over Moscow... but Spetsnaz still well and truly in it

Nice ndt
Good to see 1 finals quality team play this week
There have been some terrible scores in these finals so far. We would have beat those three teams even with two OOPs.
Yarr
Love the flexes by teams who couldn’t outlast a side with half the XV out.

You mean you would have scored more than 123? Impressive

Ikr, if they were any good they'd have been in the semi finals instead of us ;D
Devo at that result. Maybe a bit ambitious but I felt the team is set to click in the last two weeks as well.
Seeya next week NDT
