Might as well continue the tradition,
Pretty much in offseason mode, have been since I took over. :P Had a few wandering conversations about a few guys. Everyone is available. Few guys I don't mind keeping, but nothing huge. Obviously deals can impact whether I want to move other players further on down the line. (*cough* Darcy *cough*)
Pick 1 obtainable.
Compo, should have pick 2 too.
That's how I'm meant to do this, right? :P
meow who?
If you want to keep the tradition keep pick 1 and draft a guy from the 2nd round.

Turns out my phone cut everything else I wrote off after this sentence. Big RIP. :-[
There's a revamp coming at EOS down at the Saints!
- The only player currently not available for trade is James Rowbottom. However if you want to try, go your hardest! ;D
- The following players won't be actively shopped, but are available for varying prices if you want to chase (orange) - Harry McKay, Tom Langdon, Conor McKenna, Liam Stocker, Sean Darcy
- The rest are available and will be shopped around. Obviously commanding different amounts of capital to move. (green)
- I seem to have a few pieces of varying ruck sets. (Preuss, Darcy, Briggs) I am looking to complete one and toss the rest to the highest bidder, so if I have a piece you're after, better let me know. :)
- I am interested in grabbing a few higher cap older players to give me a bit of flexibility in other moves. If you have someone who fits the bill and are looking to cap dump, let me know!
- Phil Davis (81.7), Mark Blicavs (81.5), Robbie Tarrant (84.7), Sam Reid (80.7), Jake Stringer (70.2), Sam Lloyd (79.1) & Brett Deledio (78.8 ) all still offer best XV value to a varying amount of teams. All are available pending cap and other movements.
- I am a pretty easy guy to trade with. It may take me a little to work my head around cap and a few other restrictions, but I'll be pretty reasonable all round as long as you're not trying to rip me off. :)
Oh and Pick 1 is available. I want to keep a pick inside the first 6-8 of the draft so deals looking at 1 for a slightly later pick + something would be ideal, but I'll consider every offer for it.
Need NY v Pacific round 2 tbh, this place is dead.

Need NY v Pacific round 2 tbh, this place is dead.
must be you...
Usual stuff applies for us, nobody is strictly off limits, but the price of a few fellas is to the point where we'll entertain offers but probably not really consider them.
Here's a few names that will inevitably get asked about:
Tom Stewart: D1, so asking price is very high, exceptional offer needed
Jeremy McGovern: D2, similar to Stewart
Andrew McGrath: Might cash in on him if the offer is good enough, but equally happy to keep
Dayne Beams: Everyone's favourite Cairo player to ask about, come knocking if you wish
Hugh McCluggage: Would have called him our best player if he actually scored enough to win last week but even though I currently hate him, it's going to take an extremely good offer to move him
I suspect they'll be the most common names brought up, even with the above being said, but feel free to enquire about anybody and everybody else too.
Mainly Looking for forwards and depth across the board.
Discord PMs are preferred but FF PMs are fine too.
Ive had offers for Caleb Daniel i am considering, if you would like the current top 4 defender (when he gets defender next year ofc) get ur offers in
Il give you Ed Curnow
I would say everyone is available. Would like a reliable forward. Ideally probably looking to trade a mid and/or pick(s). Hit me up.
Jake Stringer, Sam Lloyd and Sean Darcy have been the main focuses of early talks on my end. If you're interested in any, please let me know soon. :)
After more good youth/picks, but also looking to improve the best XV
Open to having a chat about most players so if anyone is of interest just shoot a message :)
Pick 1 being discussed. This is your warning to get in on it if youre interested before its gone!

Outside of Houston, Heeney, Duursma and Gresham I'm open to trading anyone on my list
In terms of the better players I can offer, Brodie Smith and Libba can move - both only 27 and Smith averaged 89 so is a starting defender for any side
Got plenty of other useful pieces as well
I'm looking for younger players obviously while I continue the rebuild

Useful for what? Delisting?
Pacific just missed finals on percentage and got pretty unlucky as they where the 6th highest scoring team.
thats more relevant then 16th with 16th in scoring surely?

It's just not fair PB. We were getting on like a house on fire. I really thought he might be the one...
Just my luck, always the bridesmaid never the bride. :(
Moving on, I've decided to put EVERYONE on the table
But just to be clear - I am not trading my best players for multiple depth/lesser types etc
Basically, if I can improve my overall Best XV in any way then I am open to offers
If you think you have a package/offer that helps me improve my overall starting 15 then hit me up
EDIT: I am still rebuilding, so not interested in older players - still chasing younger guns/potential
Just opened the trade thread :) be sure to give the OP a once over
Trade season will open shortly, after I announce the new New Delhi coach!
Congratulations to KB, our new New Delhi coach!
The trade season is... OPEN
Further, a big welcome to LF who has received the tick of approval from the WXVs community to be London's co-coach with Ringo :)
Due to the emergency of the holy Rowan Marshall, I no longer require the Blues ruck set. It comprises of Matthew Kreuzer, who managed 97.4 this season, and his cover Andrew Phillips, who posted a lazy 92.8. Looking for a forward. No, I don't require a ruck in return for this ruck set.
Been fielding some interest in Andrew McGrath, not to say we'll trade him, but if you're interested then send through an offer for us at least entertain and you never know, things might progress further.
Mainly on the lookout for a forward or two as well as depth across the board.

Trade 10
PNL trade: Nicholas Shipley, Pick 2 + Pick 21
New Delhi trade: Steele Sidebottom, Shane Savage + Robbie Gray
The other two will be judged in due course.
Trade 18
Pacific trade: Peter Ladhams, Billy Frampton, Brayden Ham, Ethan Hughes + Pick 47
Tokyo trade: Harry Perryman, Tom McCartin, Pick 15 + Pick 62
Votes: 5
Coaches comments: A strong feeling Ladhams is approximately worth Perryman, and that Pick 15 is an overpay for the remaining 4 Pacific components, let alone McCartin and Pick 62.
Admin comments: It's hard to disagree with these coaches tbh. But I've slept on it, and decided I'm more uneasy about overturning it than I am about letting it pass. I exercise the power to overturn when I'm super confident, and I'm not that on this one, despite my efforts. At the end of the day, this trade has landed on 5 votes which is a pass, and there is a ruck premium to be paid. I think you could make the argument that
McCartin = Hughes
Perryman + 15 = Ladhams + Pick 30ish
Pick 30ish + 62 = Pick 47, Ham and Frampton (who is OOC)
That makes jussst enough sense for me to leave alone.
Verdict: PASS
Trade 21
Christchurch trade: Connor McFadyen, Pick 1, Pick 20 + Pick 38
Seoul trade: Brandon Parfitt, Cameron Zurhaar, Brandon Matera, Cameron McCarthy + Pick 11
Votes: 6
Coaches comments: Most took issue with Christchurch paying reasonable draft picks for what is essentially a cap dump from Seoul who would otherwise have to delist.
Admin comments: Landing on 6 votes, the trade is rejected with me having the power to overturn. I don't disagree with the coaches enough to overturn this one. I also think given the Saints position (with absolutely no intentions of doubting Koops ability to transform the list), I'll probably tend to put an onus on the other team to give more in these line-ball decisions. Seoul has cap to dump and is in a comfortable position. I don't think it's too unreasonable, given the coaches comments, to require them to add more. I feel like a solution here could be to replace one or both of Matera & McCarthy with a player that carries more cap and averages just that little bit more to actually provide SOME use to Christchurch.
Verdict: REJECTED
I'll PM coaches the neg reasons tomorrow (apologies for delay... but I'm le tired)
Okay, well I expect 6 trade offers in the next 24 hours. All of those offers must be in my cap favour by almost 600k or over, as well as offer me appropriate future compensation and multiplication of assets.
I'm waiting. :)

we have a new leading offer for pendles
if anyone wants to get an offer in you have until the weekend
If anybody happened to ask about Conca or N28, they look like going. 99% sure nobody has, but just in case heh :p
Ricky Henderson, Bailey Rice, N31 and N49 probably on the move. If I've mentioned any of these to anyone, this is your notice. I don't think I've had any serious talks including any of them, maybe N31 and floated Hendo as available but yeah. Doing that thing due diligence, courtesy thing right here, right now.

McKenna is available. Chasing a mid that's not 30+.
Jacobs heading to GWS on a 2 year deal, if true, happy to take offers, those interested have probably already contacted but thought I’d make a post still

For teams who are looking to get a mid, I am open to trading one of Libba, Anderson, CEY or Langford
Preference is to get a fwd, but will consider a def too
Looking for players of similar age or younger, and players capable of starting - can obviously add more if need be depending on what you're offering to move
I've also updated the Lists By Position thread, deleting all the players who have announced their retirements so far - I will be leaving delisted players for now as some of them might get picked up later, and will continue to update as more retirements are announced :)
Courtesy post to let those who were interested in one or both of Andrew McGrath and N12 know that they're both likely on the move.
Anyone wants to have a crack at Tom Lynch we will consider offers
We are after a youngish mid in the trade
Please pm via Discord if interested

open to offers on picks 2 and or 7
not after any specific position mid/def/fwd probably need forwards more
need to be young and pretty good tho
I've had a few people ask about Caleb Daniel
I'm open to trading him so will shop him around now
If I'm going to trade him, I need a replacement defender so the likely scenario would be that you give me a lesser scoring defender (Not old guys - and must be capable of starting obviously), and then give me an upgrade on another one of my starters
I'm also open to trading Pendles too - would be looking for a younger replacement
In fact, Caleb + Pendles for lesser scoring def + younger mid could certainly work, or I'll entertain separate offers just for Pendles too
Hit me up if you have any ideas/offers
if someones willing to give a top 10 pick for Houli let me know

Trade 30
New York trade: Tom Liberatore, Kyle Langford, Hugh Dixon + Pick 40
London trade: Tom T Lynch, Pick 8, Pick 45 + Pick 81
Votes: 9
Coaches: Felt Lynch & Pick 8 are the most valuable pieces in the trade, and that the rest don't bridge the gap between the two sides of the trade.

Coaches comments: Same as before; removal of Pick 38 is nothing, Seoul winning by too much.
Admin comments: A very, very cheeky alteration if you ask me, but it convinced at least two coaches. Sigh, I'm not overturning this. Just pass it already.
Verdict: PASS

The passed ones were auto-passed.
Trade 48 got 7 votes, all citing PNL was overpaying for Jacobs, given he likely won't see past his 2 year contract at the giants, and also pointing to Wingard's scoring history as an indicator for what he might produce. Pick 39 was seen as totally unnecessary.
I won't be overturning this one.

It was draining, but I've updated all player positions/DPP changes via SC Gold Team Picker, so all Lists By Position lists are updated for 2020 - let the trading begin!

Champion! Thanks mate
The month I've had! Finally getting around to this, apologies for delay.
Trade 76
Seoul trade: Isaac Smith
Tokyo trade: Charlie Dixon
Happy to approve this trade. A nice positional swap with two players that given the circumstances - one being a handy but older mid, and another that can score quite well, but is notoriously injury prone - are quite comparable.
Trade approved.

... this is a nice segue into the trade period review! (http://forum.fanfooty.com.au/index.php/topic,113439.msg2000336.html#msg2000336)
Can't remember how many I negged. At a guess probably 5 or 6.
Only a few days left of trade period 2...
Trade period 2 closed! Lists are locked in!*

Trade 78
Toronto trade: Tom Hawkins + Mason Redman
Moscow trade: Ryan Burton + Sam Weideman
Happy to pass this one. Burton > Redman, Hawkins >> Weid, but the big man himself is 31 so I think the trade evens out nicely.
Trade approved
I might also request a trade verdict from Nige on the Hooker trade... (haven't officially asked yet, sorry about that)
