The top of the ladder clash! Moscow find themselves perhaps punching above their weight, whilst Toronto still got the win against Beijing with a par score. Toronto should win this one. A grand prize awaits Moscow if they win this one though!
NDT have now posted back to back 150+ scores, successfully putting behind those weird two 'average' weeks of 130+. Rio certainly have the ceiling to compete with literally anyone, but I feel like they could lose to even Christchurch on their day. I choose consistency; I choose NDT.
This has not been a kind season to Seoul, who were smashed last week against NDT. They must start winning, and a 150+ score wouldn't go astray either. London posted their highest score of the year last week (after posting their lowest), and thus earning a 'tick' in 5 of their 7 games so far this year. They could get up here... but surely Seoul won't let this one slip.
It was a wild ride in the 4 whilst it lasted, but Berlin's consistent scores in late 130s is starting to catch up with them, having now dropped their past two games. Dublin meanwhile are *this* close to calling this season over, and would desperately be after a win here. Hmm... nah, I back me.
WXVs most bitter rivals go head to head in my MATCH OF THE ROUND! Even when these two teams were a sure bottom 6 bet, they still produced entertaining games, but now they're in the top 5! Cape Town, 5-2, probably only have 1 real scalp to show for it, so a win here would do a world of confidence. Cairo, however, hilariously 'rested' Hugh McCluggage last week against London - such is the heat of this rivalry - but lost the game because of it. They'd really want to win this game now, else they'd look REALLY silly! I
want them to be silly. I choose Kate.
Tokyo where chugging along nicely there for a while, but I now hold fears for their finals credentials after dropping games to the Dillos, Suns and Spetsnaz in the last 3 weeks. A win is an absolute must. PNL, whilst probably accepting they won't make finals this year, will seek to stir up shower nonetheless, with victories over this week's MOTR teams in Cape Town & Cairo plucked out of an uninspiring score line. I still think Tokyo will win though... they're due.
The Saints should be pumping themselves up for this match, as a return to a 130+ score JUST MIGHT see their first win of the season, against the Revs who have run out of petrol in the last two weeks. They too will seek to return to 130+ scores, and I think this will be the week. New York for mine.
The Suns got some reward for effort in rounds 5 and 6 with wins over Rio & Tokyo, but dipped a bit last week and the Dillos made them pay. The Thunder's last 4 weeks read 157, 120, 155 and 127. That roller-coaster form is concerning, but I guess they can start worrying about that next week, heh. Beijing for me.
The Dillos have been building nicely this year, with a nice 141 last week amongst the first fruit of its rebuild. The Islanders however have started to wake-up, with impressive wins over Berlin & Dublin in the past two weeks to show for it. The form line suggest Pacific... I dunno though, maybe Bont & Gaff don't score 440+ this week. Islanders for me, but I'm watching.

wowee, wish i was paying attention this weekend :P
We must be one of the unluckiest teams with the draw but thems the breaks. Could have beaten a lot of other teams with our score this week.
I bless the rains down in Aaaaafricaaaaaaa
What did Marseille do to get a negative goal? :P
Good game Boomzie, came home stronger on the Sunday but we kept it close for most of the weekend.
That loss hurts. Need to bounce back next week.
Beijing goes the torp >:D
