Title: Gibbons
Post by: SupercoachRules on April 11, 2019, 08:49:10 AM
What to do with Michael Gibbons? I don't have Constable so I'm not sure if it's worth trading him to Constable or someone like Wagner who's on the bubble.

What are your thoughts?

Him or Atkins could be a quick trade to Stack next week, but if Gibbobs gets dropped I wouldn’t bat an eyelid if he gets 30 and a goal in the VFL over the weekend. Bloke is too good for the ressies.

You have missed Constable, not worth bringing in after his first price rise, similar to most other rookies (ie Rozee).
If you desperately need to dump him this week, bring in Sydney Stack.

Sadly I think he is out this week.

Lang and Fasolo are right to go.

Garlett could be trialled up forward again (I hope not)

Garlett is the biggest spud on the Blues team by far. Fasolo was dropped. Not sure about Lang. Maybe they give Gibbons one last shot against the Suns to see if he can ping a few goals and get his season going.

Although myself and many Carlton fans agree Garlett seems to get opportunity after opportunity.

Fasolo was dropped but I think he’s a better player than Gibbons in that small forward role so I wouldn’t be surprised to see a swap.

Lang if fit I think will play that high half forward role and in my opinion he is the most talented out of all of the above mentioned players.

I have Gibbons myself so hope for SuperCoach he is named for at least one more week.

Agree with all your points. Would be nice to see Gibbons named in the side and kick a couple and pull out a nice 80ish type score.

The problem for Gibbons is they have given him a role that he's not known for. Time to give him a run in the midfield Bolts and see what he can do

Agreed. I know teams need players to do certain jobs. But i hate seeing rookies played out of position

Was planning on doing Gibbons to Lockhart but Greene has to be addressed instead. Not a biggie as there will be others who become available as the season progresses.

If you can do Gibbons to Constable in one trade this week I would still do it. Constable will still go past 350k in price so there's plenty of cash to make there still. Mistake not having him at this point, don't let the mistake be even worse. He's still only at the price Walsh was at last week, with a -59 BE. I'd do that.

Fasolo doesn't do much defensively. Only saw Gibbons rnd 1 where I thought his team role was well executed. Praying he's done enough behind the scenes to get one more gig.

If he does and fails he's not gonna get to any decent value anyway
