we had this discussion in discord on thursday night id like to see more
i don't mean just projected scores but calculate proper rookies scores etc
like 50-60 for rookies maybe 80 for Walsh, 250 for Captain then what u expect others to average
id say the average will be around 2150 for ppl

Haha, did this just now and got exactly 2150 ;D
This is a great thread but I think it’s in the wrong section
I don’t know my expected score,I'm too lazy to count it ha.
My team is obviously the best so I’ll be scoring 2400 this round.

Shower ... MS could be right ... I only get 2395
Gone through mine and I am hoping for 2175 in round 1. But that's saying that my PoDs all fire as expected. More than likely I will be happy to hit 2100
Putting the C on Rocky so expecting close to 3700
Have cleaned up this thread now

Probably 1500 knowing my luck.
i think im looking at around 2100-2200 depending mostly on if my mids go big or around the 110 mark, and also put my midpricers at around 85-90 (for smith, b crouch and greene) obviously could go bigger and equally likely to go sub 80. so 2100-2200 feels about right.
2100 and that’s with conservative estimates (no one above 125, no rookies besides a Walsh/Cousins/Moore above 50)
Using SC projected round 1 score and add 50 for each emergency (including loophole) would make it just a tad over 2200
I would hopefully expect a 2250. Thats what i started with last year

Legend....ary sammy, 2100-2150 seems to be about the expected starting score for 1%s. anything above 2200 is a good start. last year i was hurt by an inability to have high score games in the 2500 and 2600's. maybe cause of goldy instead of grundy gawn.
2100, but that's with no rookie scoring above 50 (except Moore/Walsh/Cousins) and no player scoring above 125. So I'd say that's a conservative estimate.
Every season I aim for 2200 Round 1, and usually go close or just over.
Reckon I’ll fall somewhere between 2150 - 2200.
But... last year I had a fast start with three +2200 scores in the first three rounds and faded badly Rounds 4-Byes. Had the right combination to get out the gate quickly, but my keeper premiums weren’t the right ones for the mid game.
Around 2200 ...

Just did a spreadsheet to check my expected round 1 score.
I assumed premos to score as they did last season.
I assumed my mid-pricers (Williams, Greene and Rockliff) to score their last full season averages - 93.9, 90.4 and 96.3 respectively.
I assumed rookies to score 80% of their JLT average if they played over 70% ToG, and 100% of their JLT average if they averaged under 70% ToG (Hately, Duursma). Of my 8 on field rookies, the average rookie score worked out to be 66.7 with a high of 79 (Walsh) and a low of 58 (Collins).
Captain was assumed to be the highest scoring player (Grundy) at 130.5
Got a total of 2173.
I added it up 2260 for me rnd1.

Don't have, don't have have, don't have, and Walsh is going to have a stinker, gave hin 85 ;).
But all my picks are awesome and going to score at their best cause I don't habe evidence to the contrary before a game is played 8)
Did give Grundy 140, bit think between him and Cripps one will hit. Geelongs ruck stocks are pretty poor.
2054 in the end - I'd guessed round 2100, so not quite what I'd hoped for.
