Title: WXV Leadership Groups 2019
Post by: Purple 77 on February 09, 2019, 03:18:54 PM
Hey all  :D

With the season just a month and a half way, your players have had plenty of time to show off their leadership credentials during the off-season. Whether they've been quietly going about their business, water skiing or snorting lines off a ladies chest, you'll be nominating a group of 5 players that can be named captain, vice captian or co captain in season 2019!

After a brief hiatus in 2018, the Leadership Group rule is BACK! To quote the rulebook:

Quote from: c4v3m4n on March 20, 2012, 01:53:50 PM
Leadership Groups

17. You are only able to name your captain, co-captains and vice captain from your leadership group.
17a. At the beginning of the year, you will name 5 players to be part of your leadership group.
17b. Between the end of Round 9 and the beginning of Round 10, you are able to completely change your leadership group.
17c. If a player in your leadership group goes down with an LTI, you are able to replace them. An LTI is defined by an injury of 6 weeks or more at the time of demotion/promotion.
17d. If the players in your leadership group are suffering unforeseen circumstances (i.e. some players are performing well under expectations and others outside the group are exceeding expectations), the admin may grant you to name someone outside of your leadership group in a CC capacity. Think of this as applying for an AFL priority pick; it's likely you won't be granted one, especially if you have someone averaging over 100 available.

^^ and any decisions on applications for 17d is totally at my discretion.

You have free range to name & edit (just do another post) your leadership group from now until the opening bounce of Round 1. As soon as the opening bounce is bounced on the 21st of March, they're locked in until mid-year.

I'm allowing Christchurch to rename their leadership group between now, and the first bounce of AFL Round 5.

It'll then be locked in until the end of Round 9 - like everyone else.

If anyone has an objection to this, flick me a PM.

Purps, if in the off chance Mitchell came back in a few Months, would we be able to add him? Or would we of had to leave a spot empty?

No. You would have had to put him in the LG now.

@Purps,

With 2 of my 5 leaders out (Libba and Steele) am I able to make changes to my LG group? I think they are both expected to be out for 4+ weeks

Couldn't remember if we have a caveat for injuries or not, so no harm asking :)

Steele says 1-2 weeks
Libba 3-5

Rules say 6+ :p

No harm in asking, but yeah, probably a no. If your other 3 LG members were showerting the bed, then maybe, yeah.

Well 2 of my other 3 are Brodie Smith and Darcy Fort, so they're certainly showerting the bed too

Heeney is my only real option hah

He is the face of our franchise anyway, so probably fitting
