Title: Round 12 Trades
Post by: Dave085 on June 03, 2018, 10:13:17 PM
What are you looking at for the byes. I couldn't care less about overall all,  it's all about league games for me.

Ill do whatever I can to boost the bank for the next 2 weeks. Before team announcements ill be looking at Austin, Apeness, Ahearn if all named. Rice also on the cards.

Out I'm looking at Naughton, Billings, Cunico. I would love to cash out on Tim English at some point, unfortunately missed out on Mcinerney.

ok, i have a huge battle round 13 so my trades this week are going to be in prep for that.  With that in mind, im bringing in a few bye round players this week and putting them on the bench.  Which will still leave me with 19 on the field.

Doedee > Austin
O'Conner > Yeo (yes, i still have O'Conner, plz dont laugh)
Mutch > McLean

I now have sub 100k left in the bank.  These trades will more and likely change a million times before the round starts, but initially i think it looks reasonable.

Brayshaw -> Austin
Ratugolea -> Ahern
Mutch -> Westhoff

Have enough coin left over to bring in Curnow and McLean next week

Had to check why you'd bring in Westoff. Flying under the radar for me!

Having a solid season, not doing as well when Ryder is there but still pumping out solid scores. Didnt see the Port game on the weekend but Fanfooty has it noted that Ryder was off during the 4th qtr with Achilles soreness,which if Ryder were to miss games it would only benefit Westhoff's fantasy out put

Would love to bring in Ahern but don't think I can. Already have too many Rd.12 players I need to start purging :-\

Yeah, that's what I meant, too many Rd.13 bye players :-X

For some reason in my head I keep referring to the bye rounds as 11, 12 & 13. I knew he was the middle bye round ;)

Ahern is a lock. Robinson will have to go out. Might look to build some cash to buy at least two premos next week after their byes.

Yeah with Robbo out now I'm going to move him in to allow me to bring in Ahern.

Just noticed he gained Def status, will have to check if it benefits me at all otherwise he's gone.

Actually that helps me too haha. Have Simpson/Sicily/Yeo out this week down back so can swing Sicily fwd and bench him.

Had a look further into my planning. This week can go:
Robbo > Westhoff
Mutch > Ahern
CEY > $602k

Want a Rd.10 or Rd.12 bye player, which means I can't afford a premo keeper and would need to get someone hopefully going up in price.

My problem then next week I need to trade Ridley, Guelfi and Clarke to have 18 playing, with limited money in the bank. Unless some Rd.10 or Rd.12 bye rookies pop out of nowhere, that's going to be hard to do :-\

Now awaiting the fitness of Laird and Coniglio, whether or not they play will have strong implications on my trades.

Definitely Ahern even though my byes suck for his round.  Then most likely boot 2 guys for Boak and Touk to cover my byes.

Yeah same, I won't be trading either out but it will affect how aggressive I can be with my movements.

MRobbo to Westhoff
Henry to Ahern
APearce to Whitfield

I have a possible 21 this week (Plus Murphy F7) bit I'm expecting to lose the following: Mutch, Ridley, Heron, Laird, Coniglio taking me to 16. Having 350k in the bank is going to help with my trades, Westhoff will be the gun that I trade in, no way will I be sideways trading a premium.

scrapping all plans at the moment until team release.  Coniglio, dusty, fyfe, laird, smith, all out.... plus id say a rookie or two not playing either. Think i must've upset the footy gods somehow.

All plans out the window.

Now missing Dusty, Laird, Coniglio, Ridley, Smith plus the guys on a bye. This was supposed to be my good week.

Any idea why Tim Smith was omitted?? Not even on the extended bench for Melbourne??

Haven’t ended up too bad in AF. After trades I have 22 available, although I’m one short on two lines with an emergency on the other two lines.

Billings -> Westhoff
Mutch -> Ahern
Ridley -> T.Murphy
= 19 players plus L.Murphy on the fwd bench

Will be tight for money ($305k left atm) but Brayshaw, Mirra/Henry and Ronke to Hunter, Simpson, rookie is the plan for next week

Ridley to Heron
Darling to Angus Brayshaw via Sicily (Allows me to switch Sicily and McDonald)
Kreuzer to Ryder.

22 on Field with Poholke??, McInerney and Guelfi ?? on bench - ?? extended benches.

I feel like the Ryder trade is a bit of a waste for you Ringo, especially with OMac off the bench! Is there anywhere else you could trade even if it was a guy with the bye this week?

I would also pick Witts over Ryder personally.

Laird, Tim Smith and Coniglio to Brayshaw, Ahern and Gaff (I know what I'm doing) for me this week, giving me 357k to spend and 19 blokes out there for the week. Having to hold Christensen but oh well, he lost 30k last week which is the brunt of it and should only drop another 30k or so between the next two weeks before his bye

Whilst I was scrambling to find trades this week, I noticed Darcy Byrne-Jones had a 3 round average of 94 and briefly considered him. Then I told myself not to be stupid :-X

Ended up going Macrae, Westhoff and Heron over Gaff, Ahern and Brayshaw...turned out very well so far although I wish Westhoff could play two halves of good footy.
