Post by: david17 on May 14, 2018, 04:39:12 PM
1st trade im doing is Naughton to Simpson leaves me with 59k so 2nd trade will be Doedee to a rookie just not sure which 1

Laird, Yeo, Simpson, Hibberd, Murray, Doedee (Mirra, Murphy)

Fyfe, Danger, Cripps, Titch, Oliver, Dusty, T.Kelly, Spargo (Holman, Banfield, Fogarty)

Gawn, Goldy (English)

McLean, Sicily, Heeney, Dahlhause, Fritsch, Ronke (ZGL, Guelfi)

So i could go Keefe, Cumming or move Sicily down back move English forward and get Crossley or move Sicily down back move Spargo forward and get Ainsworth or Phillips just hard atm on job security Ainsworth, Cumming and Phillips have played 1 game Keefe and Crossley are on the bubble

I'd take Phillips, won't get dropped anytime soon.

Ed Phillips played extremely well. Poised and a bit of a ball magnet in his first game playing across half back. In the commentary it was said he had the most possessions on debut for St.Kilda than any other player since the 80's. I remember the player but forgot his name... he was no great. Anyway I digress. He's the one. A positive in a shower year for the Saints. Wouldn't be surprised if he gets a rising star nod at some stage, possibly even for this game.

Keefe ... use him to swing Sicily at worst.

The moment Patton hits form Keeffe will be dropped, then he becomes a liability over the bye period.

Pattin played bad on the weekend. 11 touches 0 goals and not many marks

Keeffe hardly set the world alight either. Just a matter of time.

Cumming is the one I’d like to know a bit more about..

Kelly, Deledio and Greene all have to come back. But could he keep his spot?

Possibly not the right guy to grab early

Agreed, but he has Murphy and Mirra in Defence (as do I) who may not play during the byes either, so i may as well get a Keefe on the bubble, have cover for a couple weeks while if that's all he lasts ... and ultimately use the swing as needed later in the season if he never returns.
