Post by: waldorfs wizards on May 07, 2018, 09:44:26 AM
Bad year getting worse and worse!

Current team with 21 trades and $38k in the kitty... what would you do? i can see cash running out really quick!

DEF: Laird, Hurley, Yeo, Hibbered, Doedee, Muarry (Mirra, Murphy)

MIDS: Fyfe, Cripps, Titch, Dusty, Coniglio, Kelly, Finlayson, Holman (banfield, Coffield, Barry)

RUCK: Gawn, Martin (olango)

FWD: Heeney, Franklin, Sicily, D.Smith, Billings, Henry (giles-langdon, guelfi)

Would definitely do Banfield/Coffield/Holman to Spargo and Mutch to build cash. Await teams though before trading.

Then look at upgrading Billings and Hibberd.

Is Mutch a lock? Im tempted to go benfiled and billings to Mclean and Spargo?

That trade would have been my other suggestion.
Mutch in my opinion has as much JS as some of the other rookies coming through so a lottery there. just thought you may have wanted cash generation but go with gut on trades.

I'd go for the cash. You need to upgrade mids. Next week Murray > Crouch via Finlayson.

I'd lock in Banfield to Spargo.

Then I don't mind the Billings to McLean trade. Toby is playing amazingly this year and has a favourable fixture this round :) I however think a Finlayson to McLean trade would be better :)

If you still like the idea of going with another downgrade I think you jump off Finlayson this week. I'm struggling to split Mutch or Ronke but over 2 games looks like Mutch has got more of the ball, so I lean slightly to him.

Banfield --> Spargo
Murphy --> Ronke (via Coffield to def, Heeney to mids (bench Holman)
