Looks like he is in trouble again nightclub altercation allegedly just crossed him off my list what is everybody else doing ?
He wouldn't have been a certainty for round 1 anyways and this just makes it harder for him.
Christensen has replaced him as he is in a similar situation. However, he is less likely to be a keeper he could still go 80-85 which is more than enough at his price.
If Bennell does line up round one I can always swap.
Can also swap to Ah Chee.
We're still miles off R1. He was on my watchlist. Still is. Have to let the waters settle and just see what unfolds.
The Dockers brains trust may make it easy for us and make the decision that enough is enough.
It's sad that someone so talented makes decisions to potentially throw it all away when others would do anything for what he has.
Yeah did not realize he did not front up for training on Monday after it when I posted Freo can only put up with his antics for so long , this might be it
It's enough for me to rule him out weather he plays round 1 or not. The bloke is a peanut.
There's plenty of risky forwards to chose from this year but he's gone to the bottom of the list

Don't see too much in it for SC Coaches. At his price and background we were already factoring in the Harley factor. If he starts then nothing really changes except he is more likely to not make keeper. However if he makes byes then he will have paid his way and generated lots of points.
Don't know the full story yet so too early to judge. It would not be out of bounds for some d***head to have broached him. Anyway whatever will be will be.
There's every chance this guy will be unemployed by the time Round 1 comes around
Never had him in any drafts yet, figured something would happen before R1.
Same as Lids...

Whatever happened is irrelevant considering it was only a few hours before he was supposed to be at training and didn't show up.
Apparently he's banned from training at the club for 2 months anyway so that alone is enough to rule him out for mine

8 weeks...
Fremantle play WCE in the JLT on March 11... wonder if he is able to get on track, play in that and show something...pretty big ask.

Read what happened and he deserves what he gets. Hope he finds he way to be successful. Looks like Ah Chee becomes my cheap fwd.
He’s GOOORRRN!
Christensen = Injury risk
Ah Chee = Points risk (Mid time %, and yet to prove what he can average)
Bennell = Injury risk, Mentality issues
Only SC relevant if he can pull himself together before Rd. 1. Even then, I'd almost be tempted to wait until he is on the bubble to know for sure.

What I am thinking of doing as well.
Christensen is my gut feeling at the moment so he is in my side.
After round 2 I can always get who ever is performing best if it does not work out with Christensen.
I'm doubting he will ever play AFL again he just does not learn and guessing we will here something else about him before the season starts
He has been crossed of my list with a big red texta
It's apparent that Harley doesn't have the motivational skills and/or self-discipline it takes to...well...look after himself and stay
out of trouble. One avenue the club could consider is to employ a full-time mentor to help keep Harley out of harm's way because, let's face it, it appears to be the case that Harley is, more often than not, his own worst enemy. I've read that some American pro football and basketball teams sometimes employ full-time minders to help keep immature, trouble-prone players on the straight and narrow.
Well, someone to hold his hand will look good to players trying to get his spot

He's got to want to help himself though.
It obviously doesn't mean enough to him. He knows he makes bad decisions when he's out on the piss so why do it at all?
If the lure of a successful AFL career isn't enough to keep him from going out clubbing and drinking on a Sunday night then don't be an AFL player.

Except what does he do for money, self worth, etc etc. I like the minder idea but not a job I would want to do. He would probably smack me when I told him point blank to pull his fng head in and go home.

More Bennell !!!
