That was a late bump, not a high bump. The Selwood injury (if you can call it that) was the collision with the ground, not Dixon hitting him. Fair bump, just a late bump so free kick only.

Too true. Took him 15 seconds to get up. No awareness from any of his teammates to hurry him up either.




I've never felt so flat before, that was one I really wanted to win. Not interested in these near enough games, we've had 3 of them already this season. This one had to be a win to say we are good enough to be in the top 4.

On to next week but my weekend is ruined now :P

It's certainly different reading posts and comments saying that your team was robbed by the umps! Yeah sitting down watching the game I was getting as frustrated at the calls as everyone else, but they weren't really that bad were they? You could probably find ones that went our way especially in that first quarter.

And still reading stuff about the Dixon thing. Still maintain that the umpire did the right thing and played it correctly.

I didn't get to watch the game so I have no idea what happened...
I put $20 on Geelong 1-39 to cover my losses if I lose my multis so happy that came through.
I have Parsons on the field in DT because it was him or a donut. I guess what he got is technically better than a donut but it's bloody poor anyway.

I did the same and initially thought I'd lost already. But after doing the numbers.
Myself Jelwood VC 134x2 and Danger 163 actually comes out on top of my opponent with Danger C 163x2 and Touhy 90. So can't complain so far. Probably just lose a few overall ranks.

I have Ryder and Parsons. I was hoping Ryder would score 90, they scored 90 combined. Add to the fact Danger get more of the ball in the last 5 minutes then he did in the whole 3rd quarter. Duncan subsequently went quiet as well. Have I mentioned I hate Thursday night games?
