Title: Rd 7 - Western Bulldogs v Richmond - Saturday 6th May - Etihad Stadium

Another great match here on paper. Both teams coming off losses although somewhat different with Dogs in a narrow loss to GWS and Tigers with a spanking in Adelaide. Can Tigers bounce back or will the Dogs bite them.  Think Dogs here.

Hmmm...hard to say where the Tigs are at still haha. Were impressive in the first quarter against the Crows then died in the butt after that (although not taking anything away from the Crows who were fantastic). Dogs were very good against the Giants, they should get it done by 2-3 goals against the Tigs.

Bullies should get over the line.

Cautiously optimistic as always, maybe I should have learned my lesson from last week. Hoping the boys certainly did. Not having Nank is going to be a big blow. Assuming Ivan comes in, I actually reckon we'll win in the middle but he's too old and slow for the modern game to be of use around the ground. However, I can see why people are writing us off. The Dogs are a good side and will punish us if we're not good enough. Last time we played, we probably should have won and so here's hoping we can actually close out the game and get back in the winners column.

Tiges aren't contenders at all, but they're doing a great job showing that the dogs aren't. Can't win without extremely favourable umpiring and luck.

I'm sure it happens every year but bad goal kicking seems to have really hurt teams more than ever this season!

Such a tight competition!! I guess that's a good thing that the efficiency is rewarded :)

Umps win another one for the dogs - 25 frees to 13 and that last deliberate up forward! Pathetic

Couldn't agree more. Points for putting it out of bounds.

Great game to watch.
Haha RD just scrape up the funds and get him in your team already.
Bont is a star. Some massive plays in that last quarter. Stood up in tackles, kept linking up and fed ball to teammates under extreme pressure and great defensive mark with about a minute to go.
Dusty is just as amazing. That ball he won on the wing against two opponents was incredible. A couple of out on fulls and Bonts tackle on him late stopped him from cracking the tonne but geez he was good to watch.

People claiming that Bont is just getting CD love are blind to his influence in close games. The man is a weapon in big moments, clutch king.

Lel please be joking

But yes Bont gets a lot of CD bias like a fair few players, he's great but not that great. 10-15 points above what he should have

You're the one using points to measure how vital he was to the Dogs winning that game.  :P

That was a horrible deliberate out of bounds decision btw. He literally tried to grab the footy and it spilt out!

A little common sense from the umpire and he may have thought.. hmm why would a guy deliberately put it out in his own forward line when they are a few points down in the dying seconds. Terrible decision. There were shockers both ways though. In saying that the dogs do seem to get the rub of a the green week in week out.

I play that in summer, amateurs footy in winters (well, autumn and winter). Simples

I 100% thought Bont was average last night, and I was rooting for him too because he's in 2 of my 5 fantasy teams

finally watched the end of this game, yeah that deliberate was a terrible decision. I'd seen it in slow motion a couple of times and thought "yeah I can sorta see why the ump paid it" but no... that's a shocker
