New year, new rising star award up for grabs!

The highest scoring eligible player each week will be nominated for our rising star award. Last year it was won by the man, the myth, the legend that is Sir Daniel of Caleb. Any tips for who will win it this year?

The round 1 rising star nominee is Caleb Marchbank for the Steins, with 152 points!
Well, this was due to happen sooner or later. Our round 2 nominee is Sam Powell-Pepper from the Giants, with a whopping 183 points!
Played an awesome game this week, our round 3 nominee is Sam Petrevski-Seton from the Bunnies, scoring 150 points!
Meow (and i guess nas) will be so happy. Our round 4 rising star nominee is Brayden Fiorini from the Steins, scoring 185 points! (the highest of a nominee so far)
Our round 5 rising star nominee is Ryan Burton from the Hawks, with a very solid score of 149!
Well it's about time! The #1 pick in the AFL draft, and the #1 pick in our very own BXVs draft, Andrew McGrath is our rising star nominee for round 6, scoring 151 points!
To top off an amazing week for the Bunnies, the Round 7 rising star nominee is their own Matthew Kennedy, scoring 137 points!
Tom Phillips is the Round 8 Rising Star nominee, scoring 142 points for the Giants!

It was a close one this week, but Ben Ainsworth from the Bunnies is this week's Rising Star nominee, just edging ahead of the Clugg!
Alex Witherden has every right to remain filthy at Werewolves coach Rusty, scoring a whopping 168 on the bench this week.

A surprise inclusion for the Dragons this week, Sean Darcy takes out this week's rising star nomination!
Witherden robbed yet again with coach Rusty continuing to leave him on the bench, and I now have no choice but to officially move him onto the Badgers list ;D
Nevermind all that, Charlie 'Cornrow' Curnow goes BANG for the Giants, with a huge score of 177, almost getting them over the line against the Werewolves!
I reckon Charlie Curnow would be a bit sad not to be recognised with a massive 177 and on field for the Giants.
