Note this thread is only for posting of agreed trades
Posting the Trading Rules here for your reference:
5.1 Trading between teams is allowed as long as trades are determined to be reasonably fair between both parties.
5.2 Trades must be listed in the Trading Thread in the following format:
X Team receives: Player A
Y Team receives: Player B
Reason: Justification for why the trade has been made
The trade must be then confirmed by the other party in the trade, and they must list their reasons also
5.3 Trades will either Passed or Rejected by the league administrator. The administrator will take into consideration the short and long term impacts to both teams, to ensure the trade does not damage a team's future chances of being competitive.
5.4 Where any coach feels that the decision of the administrator is incorrect or unfair, they may appeal the decision to the Trades Committee. The Committee will review the decision, and have the power to confirm or over-rule the decision made by the administrator. They will then provide feedback to the coaches involved.
5.5 The committee will consist of 3 members, not currently affiliated with the competition, who are deemed to be impartial. The administrator will be charged with appointing the committee and ensuring they remain active.
The 2016/17 Trade Commitee to be finalized
5.6 Trades for Trade Period 1 will be on an unlimited basis and can include Draft Picks. For trade period 2 trades are on a one for one basis.
5.7 There will be two trade periods per season, one before the drafts, and one after. Teams are entitled to 15 Player movements over the 2 trade periods.
5.8 A player movement is defined as moving a player from one team to another. Draft picks or players you have received as part of a trade can be on traded but will not count as a movement.
Note rule 5.2 both parties must lodge reasons for trade in this thread.
Trades will be approved or rejected here, If I am doubtful on a trade I will be in contact with both coaches prior to ruling to gain more information or allow amendment.
Trade Period one will conclude on 17th November to allow time for delistings etc in preparation for National and Rookie Drafts.
Again re-iterating this thread is for confirmed and agreed trades only.
Trade discussions will take place in this thread:

Trade Period 1 will open at 9:00am on Wednesday 31st August

Thread is now unlocked and you can start posting trades here. I will not rule on any trades until it has been confirmed by both coaches involved.
Also slightly different this year GoLions as assistant adminstrator will rule on any trades involving Breakers where previously they have been passed by trades committee. I will also be conferring with GL on trades.
Staines Steins Give Kyle Langford.
Manchester Magic Give: Anthony McDonald-Tipungwuti.
Steins after a defender & Tippa has the (DPP) status & Kyle an upcoming, youngster trade between both teams.
Torp to Confirm.
Dragons give: N8
Hurricanes give: Robert Murphy
Coach wants him for 3 more years, reckon he has atleast 2-3 and as a premo scorer, wasnt planning to trade him but can afford to as i can cover his absence over here at the Hurricanes. N8 should help bud some kind of youth that the Hurricanes lack.
Kb to confirm
Grope Lane give: nat 19
Wrexham give: rook 2
Grope Lane have someone in mind for rook 2 and have been to the draft a lot in the last 2 years. Wrexham gets a very good nat pick which now gives him picks 18, 19 and 20.
PK to confirm
Badgers give: Alex Fasolo, Daniel Howe, N13
Badgers get: Rhys Mathieson, N21
Rams give: Luke Dunstan, N21
Rams get: Alex Fasolo, N13
Knights give: Rhys Mathieson
Knights get: Daniel Howe, Luke Dunstan
Badgers really need another mid with Riska inj and NDS getting delisted and possibly having to retire.
Rams need a fwd. Knights needed a young defender.
Nige and PK to confirm.

Confirmed. Matho is a contested whore. But i got 6 mids ahead of his atm. And Dunstan may never fulfil his potential, where as i hope that Howe does.

Confirmed.
With Boomer gone and Harley Bennell somewhat of an unknown, I need a best 22 fwd with good potential. Fas is that. Also probably losing Crozier and Adams to defence which reduces starting options.
Also need mid depth and I reckon whoever I get at 13 (sussed out some quality options), should be as good if not better than Dunstan.
Rams give: Grant Birchall
Dragons give: Anthony Miles
Birchall is a big loss, but I really need a good contested mid that gets good numbers and plays every week.
KB to confirm.

Confirm as stated depth movements.
Leeches give: Lachie Weller + Tom Hawkins + Sam Reid
Rams give: Dylan Roberton + Tom Sheridan + NAT 37
Identified defence as the biggest weakness and have reasonable depth in the forwards. Hard to let go of Weller, but would only be a depth player next season probably.

Confirmed.
Pretty much have defenders coming out of my ears. Hard to let both Robbo and Shero go as they have been good servants of the club, but I've literally got so many blokes to replace them that it felt right to cash in for a good youngster like Weller and a solid best 22 forward like Tomahawk to sure up my forwards which are kind of weak. Reid has an injury history but is best 22 when fit and could be a real steal if he gets over his issues.
Steins Give: Reilly O'Brien.
Leeches Give: Luke McDonald.
Back up Ruck for Leeches & a young Defender for Steins.

Confirmed. Just wanted a back up ruck for Jacobs.
Leeches give: Adam Marcon
Badgers: R45
Not much in this. Marcon's delisted and R45 doesn't have much value.
GoLions to confirm.

Confirmed. Reckon Marcon may get picked up by another club, and see potential in him.
Steins give: Jack Redden + Kamdyn McIntosh + Jamie Elliot + N#23
Badgers give: Billy Stretch + Jayden Short + R#13 + N#31
Stretch & Short add youth to the backlines, & with R#13 gives the chance to go early in draft pool & ND pick to balance out the trade.
Redden still trying to break into the Eagles side is a risk, McIntosh provides midfield depth, Elliot also provides the forward depth, when he can get back on the park. The ND Picks balance out the Elliot injury risk & also Reddens ability to settle in the Eagles.
GL to confirm.

Confirmed. Nas summed it up pretty well. I was after a bit more mid depth, and really hoping Redden can get back to his best. Elliott fwd depth after I traded Fasolo. Really rate Short and Stretch, particularly Stretch, as he had a huge jump in avg this year, but yeah, hopefully worth it to get my boy Reddo!
Steins give: Ricky Henderson + George Horlin-Smith
Hurricanes give: Sam Frost + N32
Reason: Henderson isnt best 22 but wasnt a bad scorer when he did play and i think GHS will be decent only problem is he is contracted till 2018 and just wont break into the Geelong team, so hoping he leaves after that time.
Frost has now cemented a spot in the backline and basically all melbs backs score alright with there game plan

Frosty compliments the Melb Ruck line & N #32 helps balance out the trade. As above with the outgoing players.
Confirm.
Rams give: Hamish Hartlett + Harley Bennell
Hawks give: Dayne Beams + Pick 46
Hammer and Harley weren't necessarily guys I was willing to trade, but everyone is always available for the right price. The facts are: Hammer will be D/M next season and should bounce back from a poor year regardless of where he's at. Harley showed ability to be one of the best M/F players in the comp in previous seasons and I have no doubt he can do that hence being happy to keep him. Got good stocks in both fwd and def to allow me to trade both these guys.
Beams is a gun though. Can easily be one of the best mids in the comp if fit, serious top 10 potential. I was desperately in need of just one more good mid to really solidify my lineup. The points I'd get from him (potentially as captain), would account for the difference between him and Harley/Hammer as he's undoubtedly the best of the three players involved. Pick 46 balances out the trade and gives me a 3rd rounder after I traded my original one out and allows me to inject some youth as the draft pool this season is decent.
JB to confirm.

Confirmed losing a captain hurts but gaining flexibility
So this is what trading looks like here 8)
Have gone to the trade table with the Steins in our 1st deal.
Hedgies give: Connor Blakely + Sam Menegola.
Steins give: Keiran Jack + Rhys Stanley
With NicNat out we are looking for a replacement cover. Jack a strong performer to help with the initial offset of the averages o Menegolas 170 and Blakely's 155.. A fairly big trade in firepower and age but one that works in helping Hedgies offset NicNat and the loss of significant young potential.
Nas to confirm.

Steins rebuilding & going with youth. having the line of Melb rucks offsets the loss of Stanley. Menegola & Blakely youth offsets K Jack.
Confirm.
Nottingham Hoods give: Aaron Sandilands
Wrexham Knights give: Rook pick 34
With Nic Nat out for the season,Lycett and Giles should be fine for next season and I have Smith waiting in the wings as well Knights really need a ruck backup with Blicavs likely to be mid only next season so helping them out with one.

Winchester Werewolves give: Tom Phillips
Grope Lane Giants give: Matthew Leuenberger
Bit sad to see Phillips go as I had him earmarked in last year's draft and picked him up with the last live pick (Pick 66) 8) He also showed a bit in his few games this year. We badly need ruck depth though and although Leuey's not the best, beggars can't be choosers.

Confirmed. Leuey has been passed by Hickey in our team now as the #1 ruck. We have Naismith and Longer as back up so should be fine moving forward. Phillips showed enough in 2016 for us to invest in his youth and potential.
Leeches give: Easton Wood
Werewolves give: Taylor Walker
Comfortable with current defensive depth and need a decent forward who will play every week (barring injury), with most of my forwards being on the fringe of selection.

Confirm
Swap of 2 stars in their respective positions of the same age. This one could come back to bite me but we can cover Ablett in the middle to a degree and our defense let us down this year. The thing that has cost us most the last 3 years is players missing through injury at the end of the season and hopefully Simmo's durability continues.

Nottingham Hoods give Archie Smith and George Hewett
Nottingham Hoods receive Nic Naitanui
Swansea Breakers give Daniel Rich and Leigh Montagna
Swansea Breakers receive Archie Smith, George Hewett and Mitch Wallis.
Breakers wanted to end with Brisbane Ruck set and Hoods with West Coast Ruck Set. Hedgehogs wanted some reasonable scoring mids (Although Rich has D/M which I expect him to keep) so trade satisfies all parties.
Hoods are aware that Nat will miss next season and Breakers aware that Wallis will miss a huge chunk next year as well.

Another 3 way trade here:
GL as Assistant Admin to rule:
Hebden Bridge Hedgehogs give Nic Naitanui and Mitch Wallis
Hebden Bridge Hedgehogs receive Daniel Rich and Leigh Montagna

Just as Ringo said wanted to have the Eagles ruck set so not worried about Nic Nat missing next season and Ringo has wanted Archie since last season to backup Stefan for the Breakers but I wasn't in much of a position to be able to do that until now
Hewett was a nice rookie pick up but he is depth for us with predicted position changes next season so happy to part with him
Grope Lane Giants and the Hedgies at the table.
Grope Lane give: David Zaharakis + Mark Hutchings
Hebden Bridge give: David Swallow + Scott Selwood
Hedgies bringing in a strong mid option in Zaharakis and Hutchings with his M/F. Hoping that Zaharakis will find his early season form and maintain it next season when he is lower on the "being tagged" totem poll as the Bombers full midfield establishes itself. Hutchings a pet project player, who when not tagging, looks like he is ready to break out. Keen to take the chance with him.

Confirmed.
As people would be aware, Grope Lane has had a massive facelift the last 2 years. The focus for us this year was to get more AFL best 22 options and potential 'better scoring options into the Giants team. Scooter has looked decent since his return and has scored well. David Swallow is a risk but it one that could have heaps of reward. He is still young enough to reach his potential. Sad to see Hutchings and Zaka go but to get good players you have to trade players of value.
Swansea breaker give: Cyril Rioli + N9
Hurricanes give: Stephen Hill + N14
Swansea have heaps of forwards and i have very few. Hill averages 155 and Cyril 130, hence the small pick upgrade.
Ringo to confirm
Confirmed Hill will give additional Captaincy option averaging 17o over the last 5 games so trusting he maintains this average. Exchange of picks to balance difference in averages.
Werewolves Give: Tom Bell
Magic Give: Lachie Whitfield
It hurts to give away a Number One draft pick, but Tom Bell is a forward who will slot into the Best XV.

Confirmed. Cloke suits a contender (100-110 average last 3 years) and should be very solid at the Doggies and the Owls. We wanted to cash him in and grab a decent pick which we have in this deal. Cheers to Vin for the very simple process.
Steins give: Lee Spurr.
Swansea give: Lewis Taylor.
Whilst giving away a solid defender, Steins in the rebuilding mode & gaining young Squizzy Taylor achieves this.

Confirm, losing my #1 fwd wasnt part of the plan, but I am hopeful one of the mid rangers can step up next year. With two picks inside the top 10 now as well, we can get some quality youth.
Another big deal here between the Bunnies and canes.
Cunnington + N9 + Bastinac
for
JPK + N41 + N57
Having done some soul searching over the pre season we are trying to realign our list to a similar age profile and as much as it kills me to lose him, JPK has value we can use to improve the team as a whole.

This was an incredibly tough one for me, certainly pushed right to limit. SR can tell you i tried pretty hard last year to get Cunnington who i do love, he suits perfectly to BXV and i have no doubt he will bounce back to 170+, especially with the recent departures. But having JPK will help my premiership push. Bastinac is a solid mid and N9 is quite a nice pick, which im a bit sad to lose.
SR probably wasnt using the later picks and it helps me as i have a smaller list now.
Knights give: S.Pendlebury + A.Sandilands.
Owls give: J.Steven + J.Aish
I want Pendlebury, PK wants Steven. Probably difference of 15-20ppg game as well as difference in age, added a starting defender to even it out. Taking the punt on Sandi as I've got the other Freo rucks and Ceglar has done his ACL. Plus now I've got Pendles in two comps. :P

Vin gets his perma captain. I get my favorite player. And now that I got Naismith, Sandilands is movable. And win Vinny having all the other Freo rucks, it's worth it for him, so he can have at least 1 player ruck each week. Aish is okay, hopefully gets in my 4 defs... Got a few at that level of scoring.
Confirmed.

We are still trying to build good young depth at Grope Lane. Rioli and Balic we hope will do exactly that in the forward line. Langford is a very good scorer in this comp (120, 140 and 120 avg last 3 years) and should get more and more opportunities now with the older guys making way at the Hawks or being traded as part of the O'Meara deal. Swap of picks to level the trade out.

Reckon that I would have to disagree as this is the first time in ages that T Dog hasn't been active. Must be really snowed under with work commitments ATM. Sure that he will be on, sooner or later!
Don't think anyone has a problem with Coop being co-coach though, doubt T Dog himself would.
That said, until Coop is officially co-coach, the above ruling is probably fair.

Big trade here for the Bunnies
Blackpool give: Jack Darling + Shaun Burgoyne and N9
Swansea give: Isaac Heeney + N27
Continuing our push to realign our teams age profile, we bring in hopefully a future captain and superstar in heeney.
Losing Darling is offset by the returning Bombers next year and draft picks even things out.

Breakers give: Jarrod Witts + N14 + N59

Badgers give: Pearce Hanley
Breakers give: Jack Darling
Hanley probably my mid emergency atm (unless he gets back to his 150+ scoring which is certainly possible), but he'd be a utility for the Breakers. I can play Darling when the Eagles play away from home, so I don't have to cop showerty scores from Lecca/gamble on Elliott being fit. Hanley scoring much better than Darling, but being a mid only and older balances it out.

Needed some utillity depth and Hanley fits the bill. Due to forward depth could let Darling go.
