I uh, have a tense feeling about this game. Gold Coast game really dented my belief that we can handle being borderline-heavy favourites :-X
LATE CHANGES
Carlton: Jack Silvagni (soreness) replaced in selected side by Nick Graham, Sam Kerridge (illness) replaced in selected side by Andrejs Everitt.
Lovely start boys, Dyl especially :-*
Not seeing any team play by us atm, either attacking or defending.
Playing dreadfully so far
Time to put a tag on Gibbs.
Dees let Cripps off the leash that quarter as they gave Gibbs a little more attention, Cripps 101SC at Half time #betterthanbont
Great to see the two late inclusions playing their role and some great defensive pressure from Doch that quarter.
Losing this game is the most Melbourne thing ever...
12 frees to 1 for the Blues, I see my transaction went through 8)

After his 4th quarter goal he is on 84SC
20 frees to 5 it ended up, was it real umpball to knock the dees out of finals contention or was it just coincidental/skill difference? Didn't watch it (why would anybody??)
LOL Melbourne
Just looked too tired out there, which is fair enough I guess
None of the usual run and spread
Now for a big preseason to set us up for a real crack at the finals next year

yeah still a good year mate. there is obvious improvement in the boys, iron out the inconsistency and you're looking for an even better year next year and big chance for finals

Yep, I agree. For the first time in a few years I'd prefer to be a Melbourne fan than a Tigers fan. I was hoping those days wouldn't come back quite as quickly as they have (I have a lot of Melbourne fans in my family). Was cheering for you guys to make the finals too!

They actually put the whistle away and only payed them if they were really obvious and even then still sometimes let it go on. My mate is a Dees supporter and he thought they were there. It probably had a lot to do with Carlton's pressure and they tackled really well going low. There was one high in the first quarter that they should have paid the Dees way but they let it go. It didn't help that Melbourne were killed out of the middle and Gawn basically had no influence in the ruck.
