Title: Best way to improve side for Semi's?
Post by: tkringle on August 12, 2016, 12:53:57 PM
Hi All, in the semi's this week and have a full team (besides Goetz). 2 trades and $23,300 in the bank, What would you do to improve this side?

DEF: Simpson, Shaw, Boyd, Bartel, Laird, McVeigh (Ruggles, Collins)
MID: Danger, Pendles, Hanners, Jelwood, Neale, T Mitchell, Gray, Dahlhaus (Beastmode, Kerridge, Jansen)
RUCK: Gawn, Goldie (Goetz)
FWD: Zorko, Montagna, Buddy, Green, Wells, Hall (Petracca, Phillips)

Thanks

Mathieson > Marcon  for a cash grab

Then bring in the best player you don't have, maybe Doch or Dusty

Ruggles>Docherty
Petrracca>Dusty

Or even Mathieson to a cheap Def/Mid DPP and then Ruggles>Docherty
Leaves you with Mcveigh being able to cover mid and def

I'd probably be looking at getting Rocky into that midfield, rather than playing a 7th forward.

Might be an easy choice pendles > Rocky if he is a late out

Other gigs petracca to dusty makes sense to me

Yeah that works

Kerridge>Rocky/Sloane would be nice

I could just make that work with $600 to spare

Mathieson to Marcon
Kerridge to Rockliff

Would leave me with Hall or Greene at M8/F7 but with no trades left..

Worth it?

If you're playing semi finals this week that you think are gonna be close (or you'll lose), then gotta go for it imo
