We have a Monday game, which means...
NAME FOUR EMERGENCIES THIS WEEKRound 12, AFL Round 12
Home Team | Away Team | Venue | Head-to-Head |
Cairo Sands | Berlin Brewers | Borg El Arab Stadium | 1 v 3 |
Christchurch Saints | Beijing Thunder | AMI Stadium | 1 v 0 |
Mexico City Suns | Pacific Islanders | Guadalajara, AAP Alliance | 4 v 0 |
Moscow Spetsnaz | Buenos Aires Armadillos | Luzhniki Stadium | 2 v 4 |
New Delhi Tigers | Cape Town Cobras | Nepal | 1 v 3 |
New York Revolution | London Royals | Neutral, Manuka | 3 v 1 |
PNL Reindeers | Tokyo Samurai | State de France, EurAsia | 2 v 2 |
Rio de Janeiro Jaguars | Seoul Magpies | Maracana Stadium | 0 v 1 |
Toronto Wolves | Dublin Destroyers | Rogers Centre | 1 v 3 |
Well, on the bright side, it can't get much worse... can it? The Sands lost to the previously winless Wolves last week and, if the Wolves win just one more game, they will likely have some wooden-ware for their 2016 troubles. But really, it would be pretty hard to win any game if you've got the likes of Adams, Beams, Higgins & even Stokes and McGovern out of the team through injury. I mean, just look at Berlin, they can't win without Fyfe, Viney, M.Johnson, Hibberd or the true Brad Crouch despite sitting 6th on the points ladder. It's bull shower is what it is, and I feel like Cairo totally understand. But geez, I just get this feeling Cairo REALLY want to beat me this week, but I can't quite figure out why... anyway, surely Berlin account for this run-down, beaten, uncompetitive and poorly managed team that saw them play an OOP midfielder last week? I just hope the coaches at Cairo can just lay off the hate they put my way for just one week... give me a break!
It's a miracle that the Saints 1) sit 4th on the ladder whilst being 13th on the points ladder and 2) have somehow managed to remain in World Idol despite an awful last three weeks that has seen them score 117, 122 & 123. Although I admire the Saints ability to keep winning (no thanks to having the least amount of points scored against them this year I'm sure), I gotta admit, I'm starting to lose a bit of respect for them week-by-week strictly in terms of being a finals contender. The Thunder heartbreakingly came off second best last week in what should be called the match of the year; losing by one SC point to the Pacific Islanders despite posting their highest score of the year (1507) off the back of a brilliant resting strategy that saw Josh Jenkins (171 + 18 rest bonus) break the record for the highest rest bonus ever. The Thunder have scored 88 WXV points (approximately 880 SC) more than the Saints this year, and yet sit 4 spots below them at 8th... that's crazy. Beijing to inflict some justice here.
Oh boy, the Suns whipped out something fierce last week. They were already a premiership threatening team, then we all got reminded that they've been missing a fully fit Rockliff and the impact that he could do in the month of September. The Suns smashed fellow top 4 contender New York with a horrifying score of 168, which although lower than their score of 178 posted just two weeks before, this one was more impressive simply due to the fact that they slowed down towards the end of the match. I asked for Mexico City to give me something to write about... so thanks for that! The Islanders are coming off a THRILLING one SC point victory against its like-team in Beijing in what would be the match of the year so far. It's even more impressive when you consider what was at stake for the Islanders; coming off a three-game losing streak with a fourth loss condemning them to a game and a lot of percentage away from the top 8 with just 6 games to go. However, after this match, Pacific will only face one more top 8 team for the rest of the year but win here and they could even go on to book a home final. But I just can't tip a team that has averaged 161 in the last 3 weeks.
Whilst Beijing v Pacific were playing the match of the year, Moscow took part in a contender for the worst game of the year... and losing it. The Spetsnaz had a perfect opportunity to knock off the performing New Delhi Tigers and post their 3 straight win and just be percentage from the eight, but again their outs were heavily felt when they sorely needed them. Buenos Aires though, are crazy! No team would be expected to win seven straight games after dropping their first four and set itself up perfectly to be a finals contender! But even at the start of the streak, you felt the Dillos were just getting lucky with wins from 130+ scores. But in the last month, they scored 149 three times (wtf lol), and are actually showing to be a worthy finals participant. The Dillos have got Moscow Spetsnaz, London, Beijing, New Delhi, Rio and Cairo for the rest of the year... just keep going at make the four?! The Spetsnaz can challenge, but I think I'll back the Dillos again.
The Tigers got luck last week; winning with the 3rd lowest score of the week. But to be fair, they were probably due for a bit of luck when you consider were they have come from... luck turns with form I guess! The Tigers sit 10th and just a game and a bit of percentage outside the eight, and when you consider that they finished in the bottom 6 last year and will hence play those teams in the final 5 weeks... then they're every chance to make the finals! Cape Town have had a really solid past 3 weeks with scores of 141, 132 and 144 despite losing their last two matches. For a currently bottom 4 team, they're not that bad are they? It's a tough, tough comp this year and although only with 3 wins, the Cobras present a danger game for all of its opponents. Cape Town would have beaten New Delhi last week, but I expect the Tigers to respond to their down game and account for the Cobras.
The Revolution were faced with a top tier opponent and an opportunity to be viewed in the same light with a win. Although they lost and shown what to expect in finals by the very best, their performance certainly didn't lose any admirers either with a solid 143. Cruelly however, they are now two games behind the top 3 and I think those teams are almost certainties to occupy those spots after Round 17. That just makes the race for the fourth spot a bit more heated, even if the other two teams that share their 7-4 record are the less fancied Christchurch & Buenos Aires. The Royals have been a much bigger success that what everyone, including maybe even their coach, thought they would be this year; posting yet another win (their 5th) against a current top 4 side in Christchurch last week. With London, you know what to expect with every one of their scores in the 120-136 range (last week's score of 135 was their season high), and as such I'm not blinking when I tip the Revolution... the Royals just don't have the ceiling,
yet.
No huge stand-outs this week, but after much thought this game is my MATCH OF THE ROUND! The Reindeers are BACK! Have you ever seen a mid-season revival this well done (*let me have this Buenos Aires*)? PNL have scored 147, 145, 147 & 157 in their last 4 weeks to net 4 wins and 4th in points scored during this time. The Reindeers just needed time to realise what their new best XV looked like without Swan & Hodge featuring, and for those XV to take time to gel, and gel they have! So if the Reindeers are so good and all, why I have declared this my MOTR against the 16th placed Tokyo? I'm glad you asked! The Samurai have been known to bob-up every now and then in the last year and a half and snatch a win against a more fancied team. The Samurai actually have quite a large ceiling... they just not very consistent in achieving it. Having said that, they have scored 140, 141, 136 & 135 in what has been a solid month for them despite losing the last three games. The Samurai have actually ranked 8th in points scored in this time, so I actually think this game has all the hallmarks of an upset Samurai win. And you know what? I'm gonna back them in!
The Jaguars have seemed to fit into the "accepted elite team" way of thinking by the competition; quietly going about their business with win after win and all but securing a top 3 berth. I'll also remind you, that the Jaguars have probably had the toughest draw of anyone so far this year (because they'll play 2016 bottom 6 teams after this week for the rest of the H&A season) and to sit 3rd after all that is pretty damn impressive. It's just a matter of managing your players correctly for the finals and ensuring you keep winning in the meantime for the Jaguars. The Magpies haven't troubled the 140 barrier in a while now; having now slipped to 15th in total points scored in the last month. However, they still sit a game and percentage outside the eight so finals is still a very real possibility for them, but they can't really afford to lose more than 1 match for the rest of the season. I actually kinda feel that Seoul is overdue for a good performance, and I give them a real chance to beat Rio at Maracana Stadium, but that HGA has me favouring Jaguars for this one.
TORONTOOOOO! YES BOIZ! The Wolves won their first match of the season last week (and their first win under new coach Adamant!) and would be feeling on top of the world in the days proceeding! Although they still sit at the bottom of the ladder, their final 5 matches of the year present some opportunities to maybe snatch another win and if they do so, will likely avoid receiving the spoon which no one wants to have achieved in their time as coach. I say final 5 fully aware that this is their 6th last match, because they have no chance at winning this game. It just won't happen... there is no betting market, it's been closed. Toronto's season high of 128 is still 4 points below Dublin's worst of 132, and the Destroyers are simply just too good. The Destroyers play Christchurch next week, so maybe they'll look at resting Joel Selwood or someone? Still, I hope the Wolves will be aiming to top 132 just in case Dublin don't turn up, but Dublin will win here.
Genuinely torn... Want JPK to post 3000 points this week for my SC team
but want him to catch gastro, struggle to run and not get anywhere near it for Worlds

Backs: A.Rance, G.Birchall, J.Weitering, H.Grundy
Mids: J.Selwood, A.Treloar (CC), N. Dal Santo, L.Jetta
Ruck: T.Goldstein (CC)
Fwds: D.Martin, L.Franklin,J.Gunston, J.Riewoldt
Interchange: S.Collins, N.Jetta
Emg: C.Byrne, L.Jetta, M.Daw, M.Pittonet
Rest: R.Sloane
looking very weak with Sloane, Murphy, Roughy, Yarran not in the squad.
Reading that first preview, I can't help but feel that in some ways, this match is just bigger than your regular home and away WXVs game. There is so much more at stake here. I thought maybe, just maybe, that we'd get some love after another week from hell, but nope, that's too much to ask for.
This admin fella I tell ya, terrible guy. :P
Just you wait Purple 77, just you wait.
Bring it. (http://i.imgur.com/vcHZgXY.gif)

LOL Holz, stop mentioning Roughy and Yarran - they're LTI and we all know :P
Never know what to expect from London, so I'm a little nervous about this one but as long as our starting 15 can perform to expectations then we should be able to get the job done
Looks like there are a few teams gunning for that 4th spot, so I am hopeful we can continue to produce and get it!
Would rather face Dublin than Mexico in the first week :-X

The answer is obvious. JPK scores 160 in a half, before getting gastro just before half time and being subbed out in Worlds

haha and then i buy a lotto ticket
You shouldn't respect us. We're shower and just extremely lucky. Lose all the respect that you have for Christchurch and replace it with compo. Our team is trash and we need help.
Rory Sloane will suffer the same fate as Toby Mac and a host of other rested players. Unavailability after their rest.
BEIJING THUNDER:
D: H.Taylor, L.Brown, S.Mayes, D.Howe
M: L.Neale (CC), C.Ward, O.Wines, B.Ellis
R: B.Grundy
F: D.Zorko (CC), K.Lambert, J.Jenkins, C.Petracca
I/C: J.Caddy, B.Kennedy
Rest: J.Polec
Emg: B.Hill (m), K.Stewart (m), J.Hunt (f), T.O'Brien (f)
OUT: A.Christensen (collarbone)
IN: B.Kennedy
Griff should be back this week and Zorko is due for a shocker. It won't make up for the abysmally unjust trade being allowed to pass but if there's any justice in the universe my man Griff should outscore Dayne by about 50 points this week.
I've heard enough about Petracca and if he wins the WXV rising star it'll be a joke. Connor Blakely has a 3 week average of 104. He had a breakout game 3 weeks ago and won't look back. Struggled in the first half last week with just 4 possessions, finished the game with 25. Gun!
Gibbs 10
Rocky 2
As for trades, anyone who isn't 18, 19, 20, 29+ on my list is available. That includes Gibbs, Hartlett, Stringer, Reid, Breust for those of you who are looking for one or maybe even two premos in their prime. There's plenty of best 15 quality like Nathan Wilson and Koby Stevens in the 21-28 range available too.
Ben Reid: just turned 27 and is an 87 averaging, intercept marking defender worth salivating over.

So tempted to start trade talks... but just too early for me to keep talking up until the trade period :-X
I need to know what kind of compo I'm getting before can really negotiate with intent.
I just knew Viney might get up for the QB clash! 4 weeks my arse!

Batch averages <40, Amon averages 60. In the scenario where we have 2 late outs, and Amon is a late in, I'd much rather play the guy averaging 60.

What the flower hahaha, how is Conca worth a top 5 pick? Never played a full season, has an injury history, never lived up to potential, was pick 6 in his own draft crop and is probably the 20th best player on your list if that. Don't understand the logic behind how he's valued so highly honestly.
That said, a top 5 pick certainly won't be an issue. :P But if you think anyone is coughing up that for Conca, you're having a laugh which I'd hazard a guess Toges and JROO would agree with.

You see, because I've gone ahead and done the following, which aren't the best trading tactics:
1) I've it abundantly clear that I have a weakness for Jesse. WXVs just cops surface of that, go and look at the Melbourne Discussion thread. It's embarrassing.
2) Further on to 1), as soon as this week ends and Ben Jacobs can stop haunting me, Jesse Hogan will resume his rightful place as my personal pic; further advertising my absolute devotion to the great man.
3) I've stated time, and time again that I REALLY want him. That's a big negotiations no-no.
To surmise, the sensible owner of Hogan will take note of all the above, and price him accordingly. Meaning, should I get him, I would have definitely paid overs, and probably crippled my team firepower and/or structure.
So that, is why I'm not going to even ask :P

I think it's become pretty clear that Purple doesn't want Hogan. That is because there is only 1 true superstar Melbourne player he wants and his name is Bernie Vince! Avearging 100 flat with a low score of 80, who wouldn't want this uber premium gun?

@Christchurch, Griffen not in updated Leadership group. On preferences, your VC is now Gibbs.
@Moscow, no E3 or E4 named. No one else is named in a starting 22 by an AFL club, but there is two AFL emergencies. According to list preferences, your E3 is now Tom Barrass, and E4 is Wayne Milera.
@Toronto, no E4 named. On preferences, your E4 is now Jayden Short.
@Tokyo, this is now your 3rd and final use of the Attack Strategy for the year.
@Dublin, Lewis Jetta named twice. Omitting him from E2, moving your other emergencies up, and based off preferences, your E4 is now Oscar McDonald
There's something about Lewis and Gibbo. So often they either both score well together or both score poorly together
Much nicer when they both score well together :)

Redpath has been knocking down the door for weeks now
I think we need to get him out of the ressies and give him a run in the seniors
Thanks for giving him to us for Heath Hocking Purps! ;D

It's all good, I on traded Hocking :P
And if "banging down the door" for your team means a 78 averaging KPP, then I'm not that upset about it :P I'm also sure he can keep out Tom Boyd and Stewart Crameri in the future too ;)
EDIT: /SavageMode
Pfft, he's averaging more in our ressies than some of your best XV forwards :P

Walters, Stevie J, Lachlan Henderson, Dixon's last 6 games... Redpath no where near them ;)
I'll give you LeCras, just.

I wouldn't go that far mate. He barely touched it after 1/4 time.

Meanwhile, Mundy as CC is having a shocker :'(
Neale as CC having a shocker :( Getting a lot of attention from Robinson
Matthew 'the next Pavlich' Taberner!
I can see the benefits of Jack Viney being rested all of a sudden...
Suban on track for a decent score as my E1...

@Moscow, no E3 or E4 named. No one else is named in a starting 22 by an AFL club, but there is two AFL emergencies. According to list preferences, your E3 is now Tom Barrass, and E4 is Wayne Milera.
Barrass named 8) is why you should always name those AFL emergencies ;D
I count these moments as victories btw, along with my Ruggles one.
Toga this is for you:
You 'bout to get #Petrekt

After Saturday night:
Cairo is "keeping up" with Berlin! If you include HGA (atm 38), Cairo are just 74 points behind with one less player played :o I still like the Brewers though, with most of its firepower still to come in Steven, Viney and Captain Gawn. But Cairo will probs win, idc anymore.
There have been better games... but please don't tell me Christchurch will find a way win against ANOTHER opponent playing below their best? Including HGA of 55 (atm), Christchurch are just 68 points behind with one less played :-X tight contest! Amazingly, I think Christchurch have better remaining cattle, and amazingly, I think they'll win AGAIN through low-scoring means.
The Islanders are putting up a good fight in what is a REALLY interesting match! If only Rhys Stanley didn't spud it up... should have played Luey! Could go either way, but I think the Suns have the advantage here.
The Spetsnaz start has every indication of stopping the Armadillo rampage :o the Dillos have still only had 5 players play, so it's hard to tell who'll win... the Dillos have already used ALL of their emergencies though, so if another person goes down, they'll have to cop Swallows' injured score. Note please also, that Sam Butler (E2) didn't play, so purely for cosmetic purposes, I moved him to E4 and moved Gorringe up to E3 and Bewick to E2. It doesn't change anything, just included Gorringe in the scorecard. Any other week and the Dillos would have copped Swallow :-X With the points on the board, I think I like the Spetsnaz here!
Early days still, but an intriguing start nonetheless. I'd say the Cobras have had the slightly better start, but really the captains will decide this match I think.
New York putting in a solid display, which will be enough to account for the Royals. The Jansen bubble has popped.
The Samurai have put in 4 sub 50 player performances, which is handing the game to the Reindeers, who are doing just OK.
CAPTAIN DANGER! BOOM! But is the game decided? Far from it I think! The Jaguars have done well so far, and a good 130+ from GAJ might even see them take this match home. I still have memories for Danger doing it alone for Seoul, and although he'd go close to beating anyone this round, he'll need some help if Seoul is to win.
Toronto are doing OK. They would have liked a bigger captain score sure, but hey, they're currently beating Dublin so kudos! The Destoyers should go on to win though, despite an average start.

@Dublin,
Quote14d. You can't rest a player if you can't field a team in every position. If you don't have anymore emergencies to complete a team during the round, the rested player will be the next person in at QUARTER points and they will no longer be rested.
Lewis Jetta didn't play, and you didn't have a midfielder named on your bench or emergencies.
Which means, Sloane is no longer rested, and he comes in at quarter points :-\
If you named someone like Ben Crocker in one of the FOUR emergency spots, you could have avoided this :-\
LOL, seems like every week Holz is stuffing something up :P
Dublin still win though :-[
Stef Martin's still a Cobra at heart. Thanks for the score mate!
Beijing: C.Ward + B.Ellis + B.Grundy + K.Lambert + C.Petracca + B.Kennedy + 68
vs
Christchurch: J.McVeigh + B.Reid + R.Griffen + B.Gibbs + M.Cox + L.Montagna + J.Trengove
It's gonna be close if all players score their season average... :-X
Purps you have Bartel named twice at Mexico. Think one should be Broadbent.

@Dublin,
Quote14d. You can't rest a player if you can't field a team in every position. If you don't have anymore emergencies to complete a team during the round, the rested player will be the next person in at QUARTER points and they will no longer be rested.

The intepretation of the rule is wrong.
I feel the rules are designed to punish and are not user friendly at all, it seems like im in the court of law and its a technicality to cause pain.
However naming crocker would do nothing thats a no playing guy. It makes zero sense that it would by pass the rule how is that different to playing lewis.
So if thats the precedence then crocker wouldnt make any difference. If its not the case the rule clearly states if you cant name a full team, it never states that you must name a full team. If you must name a full team then the 1/4 is rubbish
Common sense says lose resting and full points or keep resting and oop.
If you want to go by whats written then its written in a way that is incorrect and the rule cant stand as it is wtitten.
True Jansen bubble burst but had to field him due to the number of mids we have available. Cunnington showed tremendous heart playing through with a severe corkie.

If you named Crocker, a mid, in one of your 4 emergency spots, then he'd come on for Jetta, and Sloane would stay rested. So yes he would make a difference. Perhaps if you paid a bit more attention in naming your team (either by realising you named Lewis Jetta twice or that you didn't name any mid emergencies) you would have thought this might have happened, so don't try and paint it like I'm punishing you, when it was your fault.
Rules have been applied this way since day dot.

Can we put this rule up to vote.
I disagree but cant be bothered.
I didnt know crocker was a f/m so that actually hrlps.
End of the dau my bad, just came back from birthday weekend so see north lost. Vc danger wirh no loophole, lee 30 score then sloane a mid getting 1/4 for a mid spot.
Also explains why i didnt put my team in properly. Cant do my usual friday night chamges.
Funnily enough, that worked out for Dublin.
The alternative interpretation I was considering was Sloane to lose his resting bonus, but not be eligible for selection, as if he were, it just encourages further potential loopholing in the sense of "I'll play an AFL emergency and rest a gun and hope for the best... the worst thing that can happen is that my gun comes on and loses his rest bonus".
So I considered stripping his rest bonus and have Holz play an OOP mid from his emergencies, which would have been Byrne. He score halved is less than Sloane's quartered...
But in the end, the ruling I did I felt was the most appropriate, because you shouldn't have a midfielder named in the team submission and not come on if you needed a midfielder, nor at full points either. But yes Holz, you can suggest it go up to vote, but during the time of rule voting and not now. I'm sorry you felt you copped the wrong end of the stick, but you'll just have to cop it on the chin.

End of the day think i will win this week and next anyway.
Its a great way to tank though
Apparently Tippett is off with a knee problem :(
If he doesn't come back on for the 2nd half, do we get our first emergencies score? And is it discounted because of OOP?
Would be stiff if that's the case, because Tippo's first half was decent!

Glad we slotted Conca into E1 then as he got 92

Tippett stays on field because you have no ruck emergencies
This is a close one. I wouldn't mind Mason Cox being a late out tomorrow.
Hartlett is being next to useless again. Should have fired him for real.
Clay Smith made a successful return to football yesterday. He didn't just get through the match, he was best on ground with 36 touches.
After Sunday:
@Toronto, for cosmetic purposes (doesn't change anything), I've moved Jayden Short up to E3 and Nathan Brown to E4. Again, it doesn't change anything, just I needed to include him on the scorecard.
Some games already decided, with Mexico City setting the week benchmark at 1602 :o :o
And just when you thought Buenos Aires were done, Tom Lee scores a 14 to keep them in it :-X but only a Pendletastic effort will get them there.

Apparently Tippett is off with a knee problem :(
If he doesn't come back on for the 2nd half, do we get our first emergencies score? And is it discounted because of OOP?
Would be stiff if that's the case, because Tippo's first half was decent!
Yep that is what will happen.
Tippett stays on field because you have no ruck emergencies
59 in a half a fair effort from him.

Blakely needs to learn that the game is called FOOTball. Had a team high 29 touches for Freo but he's Josh Kennedying it without the contested game. 22 handballs = not a lot of points.
So Gawn (c), Viney and Smith needed to score 233 or less collectively and we win? Too easy, let me just phone in a favour. :P

It's actually entirely possible this doesn't happen :-X but equally possible that Gawn does it single handedly :P
Church v 'Jing is gonna come down to the wire. Think I need to rely on Mason Cox to have a poor one :-X

Poor showing? This is the best my team has performed for ages! We just bring others down to our level.
Of course I have a very good week but have to come up against Danger. :(
Loss soured further because of Kade Kolo going down.
Nice to have the W already locked up
Having Houli out on the LTI list hurt but we can carry him
Tippett going down now is really going to screw us.
Need Griffin to return or we're copping OOP ruck FFS :(
Welcome to our World RD, Could not even get mid cover this week.

Too right Rico - will need Bennedy to put in a big showing against his former club, another 20-odd like he put in a fortnight ago and I'm done for all money. Wouldn't mind seeing Cox put in a HGA-worthy score ;)

You get use to OOP rucks after years of it on and off. We once played half a season or so with OOP ruck haha.

Defiant Spetsnaz cease Armadillo Momentum
THEY DID IT! The Spetsnaz have stopped the Dillos 7 game winning streak and in impressive fashion when you consider Tom Lee's 14! It was an otherwise even contribution for Moscow, as Buenos Aires' defence was left wanting.

Cobra Strike at the Death
Now that was impressive! Faced with under-the-odds chances in the last stretch of the game against quality NDT opposition, young Cobras Dom Tyson (121) and Dean Kent (119) each pulled out truly special performances to get the Cobras over the line! This was a great win for Cape Town, and a really deflating loss for the Tigers.

Revolution Radicalise Royals
Just another day at the office for New York, but would be devastated at losing Tippett for the short-to-medium term. They'll be sweating on his availability for finals. Meanwhile the Royals turned in their worst performance of the year, as their young players start to tire a little.

Reindeers keep Rising Above
Yeah, it wasn't a flashy performance, but it was enough. The Samurai really suffered from only having 2 defenders play, and continue to be vulnerable when captain Parker doesn't ton up. Losing Dahlhaus certainly hurts.

Rio enter the Dangerfield
WOW! WOW! If you thought Beijing v Pacific was the MOTY, then reconsider! Just flowering look at that scoreline! The Magpies got off to a great first half with Captain Dangerfield contributing 458 points to the cause, but the Jaguars refused to lay down. In the last match, the scrumptious Bernie Vince did everything he could to try and get the Jaguars over the line, but Jack Frost and Travis Varcoe held their nerve and capped off an incredibly high scoring 17 SC point win. What a match. Danger deserves 6 Jim Stynes Votes.

Although they dropped a little too low for their liking (Rory Sloane muck up was a WXVs first), the Destroyers were never in danger. The Wolves aren't at their level yet.

My first coach of the week i believe!
Required a lot of luck and our only two centuries in the last game of the round but bloody happy with the win!

Ahaha oh well it was a great match. Truly shows how smart Purple is wanting Bernie and all.

Lol. Jesse is coming back tonight ;) I didn't think I could get a more majestic photo than his war cry in his first ANZAC day match, but I dunno, he basically didn't have a shirt on today ;) ;) ;) ;)

Just a heads up, the end of round stuff won't be up until late tomorrow afternoon for those interested!
Yay we won.
Now we are dead in the water without Nic Nat. :(
Oh wow, only just found out about Nic Nat.
Moscow literally don't have another ruckman on their list :-X trading Pittonet along with Weitering rubbing salt into the wound? :P
Carn the Cobras!
Kent beats his previous best score by about 20 points and Tyson is getting back to his form of a few seasons ago.
Good thing we didn't trade them to you Purps...but if you want the dynamic duo we'll take Fyfe ;)
Good to see some of our reserves going well too. First game of the year for Pierce and Honeychurch and Plowman is starting to show some consistency.
Definitely not 'Jing's finest performance but we'll certainly take the win! Good to see some youngsters in Kennedy, Petracca and Grundy step up when our big guns had a quieter week.
