Title: Round 10 Trades
Post by: WhatMate on May 23, 2016, 09:35:08 PM
Having been holding Lobbe for weeks because of more important problems in my team that need fixing. Unless there are any other better rookie options I'm thinking Lobbe to T.West. Currie is more than serviceable whilst him an Cox continue to earn coin. Although Goldstein seems to be finding form and seems to be on the way up in price, which almost makes me want to trade Lobbe to Goldstein and Bench Smartin, then downgrade him next week.

Lobbe to West
MacPherson to Steven

Although also not sure whether to get on board Mathieson, Blakely or Paine with rookie options looking to be drying up.

This will guarantee change throughout the week

Mendaue and Mills out.

Simpson/Docherty/Kelly and Williams/Mathieson/Paine in.

Need some cash generation. Looking at;
J. Smith (BE 49) to Blakely
Either D. Byrne-Jones / Hartley to Collins in defence.

Thoughts on who to trade out of Byrne-Jones (BE 65) or Hartley (BE 48)

Next week I would aim to upgrade one of those to a premo if there is nothing more pressing.

I've gone Hartley.

Leaning towards him too. Have you got DBJ as well?

Yep. His BE is lower than SC/DT so I'm happy to keep, for at least one more week, whereas I can't see Hartley making much more money.

Gotta lol at the fantasy freako

They feature the top scores for defenders ever and forget the best Brian Lake's 192 for the Dogs in 2010 ::)

+1

I was thinking to myself, was he listed as a 'fwd' then, surely not??  ::)

freako is ok, but not the greatest of shakes - ie better than the supposed 'Dr' dreamteam but that's not saying much!  ;)

Yep the Fantasia experiment did not produce great results - neither did Caleb Daniel after his return from injury.

What are people's thoughts on Josh Gibson?

Has a good run coming up, Brisbane this weekend....Hawthorn slowly getting players back

Is it worth getting him in at his current price?

Depending on whats going on with your team I wouldn't choose either of them. Do a downgrade and get a true premo next week.

If you cant wait and have to bring one of them in then maybe Duncan. Hunter is starting off like a house on fire then fading out (DT scoring wise anyway, haven't watched a bulldogs game for a while).

BenKen/Matt Crouch out and Steven/Montagna in. Hoping for 250 between them against the Dockers :)

Ok, IM having trouble on the last trade.

J. Smith or Macpherson to Blakely.

Topping out rookies include D. Byrne Jones, P. Wright, Hewett, Harwood, Tippa and Wagner.

I don't want too many rookies topping out at the same time and losing money. At least with leaving Macpherson in I can control that a little more. If I trade him out I'm leaving Smith who has a BE of 49 and isn't setting the world on fire. What you reckon?

For the sake of my AXVIII side, I'd love 300 between them :P doubling up with Steven as proper fantasy captain too.

I'm going Mills to Collins and Bennedy to Pendles, hopefully not stupid trades and can get in Matho next week.

Injuries forced both trades:
MacPherson to Matthieson
Mohr to S. Collins

Hope you ended up trading Hartley over DBJ ;)
