Seoul move up to 5th!!! But amazingly, still aren't guaranteed a finals spot given the team with the next worst percentage sits at 14th position.

Buenos Aires slip out of the eight :o :o :o :o :o

New Delhi & Beijing move into the eight at a crucial time in the year... 5th-11th changed so dramatically, and still might again!

Sigh. Dublin already on top ::) PNL v Rio definitely the best game finishing 9th & 10th... but really, the teams in the top 8 don't look so out of place. Will be interesting to see how the year pans out!

Meanwhile in reserves, the Copacabana Capuchins enjoy a percentage of 467 :P

My advice is just keep winning then percentage doesn't matter.

Everything coming up PNL this week, nabbed a win, Marseilles win their first of the year and on top of EurAsia 8). Now to continue our season revival somehow :-X.

I also reckon this has been the most even season in a long time! Quite a few teams can win on their day, and the race for Finals is wide open to be honest, a 2-3 game losing streak from those placed 6-8 could see them lose their spot.

Damn, we might go 10-7 and still not make the finals. Oh well, Pacific can just win the last two games and hope for the best.

Still a very young team though and should improve with another pre-season under their belts.
The return of Hurley and Howlett will also be very welcomed additions to the starting squad.

So the reserves are heating up also...

Copacabana has the minor reserves premiership, but they play Imperial this week who need a win to guarantee the finals.

Top 4 spots are still on the line, but Mumbai should beat Shanghai to guarantee a top 3 spot, but with La Plata playing Alexandria it could come down between percentage for 2nd or 3rd spot (doesn't matter as no home ground advantage in reserves).

Wellington still a chance of top 2, but would need to rely on upsets, and would be favourites against Marseille. A loss could see them as low as 6th though, so a win would give them a double chance.

Rhineland should have no problem defeating Siberia to put pressure on the top 4, but need to pray for an upset. They can go as low as 6th.

Washington's top 4 chances rely a lot on results going its way, but its opponent - Yuzawa - will be far more desperate for a win. A loss could see them fall out of the 8 if Pyongyang beat Durban, or if Durban smash Pyongyang. Of course percentage could be an issue with Imperial and Yuzawa neck and neck.

Although 9th v 10th, Pyonyang are a far greater chance of making the finals being a game ahead of Durban.

Port Morseby need to hope Durban beat Pyongyang - but not by too much - and they thrash Windsor (which shouldn't be an issue as they've struggled to score) to hope they catch up to someone on percentage. Unlikely.

Shanghai won't defend its title, can only get up to 14th at best.

Windsor wins the spoon.

im 17 or later in every draft. I do alright for picking depth actually given how late i draft. Bottom teams have loads of depth as they get soo many early picks and have lots of players playing.

i get ok players by doing loads and loads of research.

Looking at Seoul's record is a little crazy... Against other teams in EurAsia they have a 2-6 record (and likely wooden spoon barring some last round thrashings), while against other teams (which include Mexico City, Rio de Janeiro, Buenos Aires, New York, etc) they are at an amazing 8-0. I find that a bit interesting

PNL is pretty much opposite 7-1 against EurAsian teams, while 3-5 against AAP Alliance teams.

No wonder the last spot in the top 4 is between PNL and Seoul

Just reckon you guys have got a decent list that's been ravaged by injury. Definitely a lot better than your win/loss ratio suggest and a helluva lot better than NDT's list when they were granted a priority pick.

But rules are rules! Feel free to add a little more onto that pick 2 for Hunter ;)

Beijing also miss out on the finals... that loss against Pacific hurts more than ever.

Pointing out that Seoul (2-6) came last in EurAsia, meaning they went 8-1 against the AAP Alliance. And it was CAPE TOWN in the last round that beat them. Not any of the 4 teams from that group that made the finals, but Cape Town.
