To be fair, you just played a team that scored about 300 points lower than the average league score for the round.

Round 6 ladder is up. Slightly nervous though, a few teams are very strong and certainly don't won't to be playing

Can I just put it out there that after round 5, 2015, Dallas were 4-1, and ended up missing the finals.

After round 5, 2016, Dallas were 5-0, and suffered our first loss in round 6.

I hope this doesn't happen but damn this sounds like some illuminati shower happening.

Better make a bracket, as need 2 hands to hold & balance this ladder as top heavy.

Ladder updated.

The four teams imo that you don't want to face are Hawaii (who have been extremely unlucky), Roswell, Nicaragua and Calgary (we all knew this from the start though ;)). The battle in the mid-table/for the eight is entertaining to watch, while typically warm places like LA and Arizona are probably needing to go back to the ice ages (although the Scorpions are another team that has been unlucky as well).

Ladder is updated and is very tight at the moment!

As I pointed out to LF, 2 teams are on 7 wins, 2 are on 6, 2 are on 5, 2 are on 4, 2 are on 3 and 2 are on 2 wins, because symmetry.

Ladder is up from Round 11.

Sorry about the delay, work has been crazy busy (not surprising when pretty much everything is 50% off), that along with other factors, including a way of making access to the ladder better.

Nige, I have seen your comment and it seems impossible to get a print screen up. If I could embed (my ideal preference), I would. I'm trying to figure out a way that doesn't take light years (table via FF) but looks good. The reason I have done it the way I have is because it's easy for me.

Anyway, onto the ladder, if you saw this ladder three weeks ago, it would unrecognisable. This is due to Calgary and Dallas being on 3 game losing streaks and either teams being outside the top 2 (first time this season I think). Ladder leaders El Paso are currently on a 4 game win streak (you better thank me for that ;)) while the Scorpions have risen above the hot, sandy ground in Arizona to be in contention for the finals for them, and the Pirates to get on 3 game win streaks.

Just something to note, the USA v All-Star competition will start this week and no need to change anything on your behalf. The results will work like a normal ladder, but it being split into the USA and All Stars. For example, if you represent the All Stars, and you win your normal match, you will also gain a victory for the All Stars. I'm not good at explaining things but I know what I'm talking about and that's the only thing that matters. (Hopefully it makes sense in a week's time.)

Let the games begin!

Fair enough.

Personally, I don't think an FF table takes that long. I've done it the past few weeks for Euros and it honestly takes no more than 5 mins. Normally, I just have two windows open side by side, the FF thread with the table in it and the Euros spreadsheet with the ladder in it. I find that expanding the default size of the FF reply box helps do it faster too so you don't have to do one row of the table (aka one position/team etc) at a time.

The other method is just taking a screenshot of it. Depending on program, you can save it, go to an image hosting site (imgur is the best imo) and upload it there. Once uploaded, choose the BBC code link they give you and just past that in the FF reply box. As I said above, I've both processes fairly straightforward and relatively quick and easy in the past.

I'm happy to do it every week if you like.

I think that you have question whether it's pure greatness or luck. Since that the next 4 teams has scored more than you and that you've conceded the least points, I would be leaning towards the latter. ;)

Post by: Atto on July 27, 2016, 04:44:19 PM
The ladder has been updated and since there's one more week until the finals, there are some questions that need to be answered:

Is El Paso the minor premiers, or will Calgary attempt a last minute burst to get the minor premiership?

Can Nicaragua hold on to the advantageous 4th spot, or will one of Hawaii, Guadalajara or Bolivia, all of whom are one win away from the Survivors, take the cake?

Is the finals set, or will Arizona and Dallas do what would have considered to be the unthinkable six weeks in this competition, and the Chokeyotes (sticking true by their name) dropping out and missing the rather minor opportunity to get the title, or will the Scorpions scorch their way into the 8?

Are Washington confirmed for the last place, or will they cause an upset in the last week, giving the chance for either Springfield or Los Angeles to receive the ol' smack on the bum with the wooden spoon?

Nah that's a typo. If you look on the link above the ladder, it'll give you a spreadsheet, which is the more reliable source. I think I just missed editing the percentages in my angst haha.
