Title: Mid/Fwd DP's in the Midfield.
Post by: Swoozie on March 17, 2016, 12:02:10 PM
So with the lack of cheap midfield rookies becoming apparent, just wondering what everyone thinks of having mid/fwd rookies in the midfield.

I, like most, generally try and play them down forward as midfielders are the best scorers and I would always prefer an extra mid rookie to an extra forward rookie.

But with the lack of midfielders under 180k available, would it be a horrible thing to chuck some of your mid/fwd's in the midfield, considering the plethora of forward rookies available.

I've got both Kerridge and Menadue in my mids at the moment, and if I decide to start with Petracca, that will be another one.

It just looks wrong having so many dual positions in there, but I can't see why there'd be any problem.

Does anyone else have more than one mid/fwd in their midfield?

Who are the "plethora" of forward rookies?

Kommer - decent JS low scoring potenial
McCarthy - Dodgy JS will score ok
Milera - again JS not the best, expensive for potential scoring output
Cocky - Suspended
Achee and Wright - JS issues and expensive

Menadue and Kerridge are the only two i have faith with and maybe Bennedy

It isn't a choice though. A decision will be needed. So best guess it will be.  ::)

Nothing wrong with having some def/mid rookie priced players in the midfield.

I also have Menadue, Kerridge and Petracca in the mids at the moment.
