Title: Krispy Kremes and forced trades
Post by: jvalles69 on September 04, 2015, 12:36:36 PM
So guys, just wanted to check how everyones teams are looking whether you are in the grandy or just going for overall ranking.  I got knocked out this past week, but not really fussed as it was all about overall ranking for me, got pushed to around 1300 overall with some horrible scores.

My forced trades this week are Swan, Boyd, Hibberd.  Swan will go to Stanton via DPP and Boyd will turn into Picken.  If Edwards plays for the Bombers then I have no donuts and should be able to climb into the top 1000 to finish off the season.

Traded Mundy to Picken and McVeigh to Houli

Benched swan for lambert/D Menzel (Undecided)

In GF against a team with Goldstein, Hibberd, Mundy, McVeigh, Boyd, Swan and Fyfe. He held Fyfe as he had to trade Parker and Hodge last week. Fantasy gods were not kind to him

Would've liked to have gone Swan - Hanners but with Mundy, Boyd, McVeigh and Hodge still to deal with, had to use both trades in DEF.

Hodge - Picken is locked but not sure who else to get. Not keen on Shaw, worried he will cop a tag.

Other two options are Laird and Houli. Houli should be good against the Roos reserves and Laird is in great form.

Yeah was thinking Houli now the roos are playing their ressies siode. But houli is just a cheap player. No contensted ball at all, just runs around lose at the back and gets cheappies. He would be so easy to make accountable and keep to 0 possesions. sh1t footballer but gets okay scores dude to being aloud to run loose. So i went laird based on that. I hate houli!

I don't trust any defender so I'm going James Kelly for his years of DT service and no other reason.

Copping a donut in defence with Mundy, Boyd, Hibberd out and neither of Clurey/Barass playing.

Had to go Boyd to Picken, Mundy to Shaw.
Atkins on field for Swan via DPP.

So far so good, 2242 with 3 players to come. Took a risk and had titchell captain for some bonus points over ppl who took Rocky, have climbed from 1300 to 600, expect to drop a bit from there but should reach my goal of top 1000 for the year.

Final rank for season for 2015 was 811 with a round 23 score of 2422.  Happy with that seeing as I had an average start to the year and a horrid week last week.  Has season 2016 started yet?  :P  Haha, just jokes, time to enjoy footy again, come on Eagles!  ;D

Hopefully that score will see you climb up some more mate, pretty good score considering what went down this week with all the restings.
