Post by: The_Captain on August 16, 2015, 09:27:47 PM
Need to upgrade Parker. Which one of these blokes should I bring in? Or any other suggestions ?

Whats your whole midfield line like?

Hanners is pricey and Fyfe looked a bit tired and gimpy today so I smell rest coming up.

Fyfe just came off 2 weeks from injury so can't see him missing again. But mids are. Steven, Lewis, Parker, Pendlebury, Sidebottom, Sloane, Heppell, Rockliff.

Fyfes price is so tempting, will help me with last upgrade next week to uograde lambert to premo with another downgrade.

Best options I see if you don't want to break the bank around Fyfe's price; Armitage (bad form), Hepell (bad team), Priddis (slight slump, but normally very consistent), Ellis (fairly consistent), Jelwood (home run fighting for finals)

Other cheaper options I would consider: Sloane, Guthrie and Shuey

Looking at the options though, you're right, Fyfe's prob top of the list at his price and because so many people would've traded him out.  You've got me thinking about him now! I'm looking at Sloane this week and Guthrie next week.

Cheers guys. Yeah going fyfe gives me 80k in the bank, can downgrade amon next week and then use 160k to upgrade laambert to someone around 500k next week hopefully if all goes to plan!

Now Tom Mitchell is out. Could hannabery or Kennedy be a better option than fyfe? Have Tom Mitchell injured. Sakessss.

Going a ballsy move now. Parker - fyfe and Tom Mitchell to Aaron hall which frees up the cash for parker of fyfe. Hall now getting midfield gig without Ablett and co... Three 100 plus scores and plays essendon this week. Named on bench though :s

Only a personal opinion, but Fyfe is the better footballer. Whether he's a better Fantasy scorer, not so sure. I'd go Fyfe for the cash

Yeah besides the 2 games he played inured, he's gone 95 plus every time and that's some solid consistency!

with 3 weeks left is it the time to go for consistency or time to take risks and potentially get some bigger scores :P

Was just reading a article with Ross saying Fyfe could play as a key forward with pav out, it also said he looked a bit sore as he did a few light run throughs away from the main group. Make of it what you will but that would be enough to pass on him this week, if he dose play forward it could affect his scoring quiet a lot.

Hannebery would get a lot more attention with Sydney's injury problems I'd look at danger  or Stanton.

Yeah Stanton was my number one choice... but i only had 580k available in end which also counts out danger...

I think Fyfe can score well no matter where he goes.. not sure what lyon is thinking putting as a key forward as he cant kick for goal set shot well lol. They should of brough tabenar in???

Wouldn't be surprised if he is a late out, but who knows with Ross the bosses past antics leading into finals

What do you boys think of Brandon Ellis instead of Fyfe. Real nice run coming up and he smashes shower teams. Maybe Sidebottom who also has an easy run and can go huge. Thoughts ?

I find this debate odd .......

Fyfe, the best player in the game, has had a couple off, his team if prepping for a Grand final assault and must be at it's best these last few weeks to be primed for the finals and SO MUST FYFE
