Don't you just hate it when your team is so good it's hard to delist anybody :/
I doubt very many of my guys will get the chop by their AFL clubs, but I'll wait until then to make any decisions

Dealing with the same problem myself :P
Most of my players aren't best 22 (i.e. prospects), but after the Oxley fiasco I'm afraid to delist anyone (Sam Gray was on the chopping block until 4-5 weeks ago...)
Just going to wait it out and see who retires and who the clubs delist (Aidan Riley was an obvious one)
Yeah ive got the same problem aswell... already have space for 2 of my draft picks, need to make room for 1 more after Karpany see what happens. Probably going to skip 3 or 4 of my draft picks(rookie and Nat)
First delisting
Malcolm Karpany
Thats the beauty of having old cows who chop themselves haha

Seeing as trading the formerly-delisted is all the rage now, who's going to be the first to make an offer for BroughTON? :P

He was a good player, I will admit that. Was good in the forward line for the Dees in 2010 and a solid utility for Richmond last year (quite successful defence in 2013 as well). But was a victim to injuries. It's sad but common in sports as some players bodies cannot withstand the rigors of the highest level of competition, or even some are unfortunate enough to have one injury that curtails their career completely. :-\
Was counting on him to be fighting for a starting place in my forward line next season, so obviously he will be missed
Chucking Clinton Young on. Nearly traded him too... haha.
Sam Darley delisted for Colorado. Undelist Naismith please.
After a sensational career Adam Goodes has retired from Colorado sadly.
Adding Cordy and Fuller to mine

my bad, guess I just totally missed that post
All good :)
Brodie Martin delisted by Colorado. I had such high hopes for him too. >:(
posting in this years thread this time :-[
And another for Colorado. David Hale.
There goes Paul Duffield, what a spud!
Opens up another spot on the list which is good.
Just as a reminder to you all, make sure that you'll end up on 52 players after the draft - won't be able to delist people after it (our draft as in, not the AFL), so if you're not careful you could end up wasting picks. This delist means I'm on 51 atm, so if I continue with this I'll only have the one pick in the draft (although I'm certain I'll have to cut some more)
Mark Jamar for the Cockerels
Have had to delist Broughton, Duffield, and Sylvia this season - imagine how powerful my side would be if they'd stayed in peak rather than flower up and obliterate their career's :/

Aaagh those memories of the naughties ;D
Big Mike Pyke retires from Colorado.
Further changes and likely final
4. Jason Winderlich
5. Mathew Stokes
Entering draft with 4 NAT picks and 1 Rookie
Ducks will also delist Alex Browne
We'll be saying goodbye to Robbie Warnock and Matt Thomas too
Matty Wright and Simon White delisted from Colorado.
Sinners Delist
Rhyce Shaw
Danny Stanley
Patrick Karnezis
Max Duffy
Add Daniel Markworth, Josh Glenn and Josh Saunders to the Ottawa delistings.
I will like to add ariel steinberg to delistings
You can also add Nick O'brien
2 more delistings for Houston
Seb Tape
Daniel Merrett
So at the moment I will be using
Nat: 9,19,25,35
Rookie: 9,19
Colorado will undelist Matthew Wright. He may get a 2nd chance.
Ducks also add
Daniel Gorringe
Will Hams
Sinners add
Sam Gilbert
Daniel Robinson
undelisting Gorringe so we can trade him
Adding Abbott for me
another delisting for Houston
Elliott Kavanagh
Quote from: elephants on August 14, 2015, 11:50:18 AM
Boston: Nathan Foley, Brent Reilly, Chris Newman, Andrew Carrazzo
More to come
I'll add Podsiadly, Sipposs, Maginnes giving me 7 delistings in total.
I think I have a total list of 50 now so 2 picks (N34 and R23). Might look at delisting one more crab so I can take R35.
So the guys that were picked up in the rookie draft that were delisted by us were:
Lachlan Keeffe (NBH), Will Hams (AMD), Josh Saunders (OH), and Danny Stanley (LVS)
And I'll be adding Jonathan Simpkin and Mitch Golby to my delistments
Pretty sure we had Saunders, but yeah. Didn't want him haha. :P

AFL PSD and Rookie drafts are on Friday, so I'll let the first pick be taken (meaning no more trading of picks or delistings*) on Saturday, to give people enough time to see if any of their guys got picked up and make/remove delistings where appropriate.
*some leniency may be given
With this in mind, I hope these extra delistings are allowed. If not just ignore them
Kieran Harper, Kurt Aylett, Cameron Giles, Cameron Delaney, Cameron Shenton (cop that Camerons) and Simon Tunbridge - they'll be added to Chris Newman, Brent Reilly, James Podsiadly, Andrew Carrazzo, Arryn Siposs, Will Maginnes and Nathan Foley.
Total delistings =13 leaving me with a total list # of 47 by my count - therefore I'll be taking 5 picks across the two drafts.
This was posted at 1am last night before any picks were taken in either draft :P
I could be a dick and not allow it, but seeing as I'm a benevolent god I'm fine with it.
Bit racist against Cams tho imho
This was the problem ... *some leniency may be given
Haha I completely butchered my personal team list so I had so many listless crabs on there.
I only want one Cameron and his name is Jeremy

Coach elephants: Hey Pendlebury, hey Cotchin, come on in, there's plenty of room. Sorry, not you, Giles, Shenton, and Delaney.
Giles: Why not?
Coach elephants: *points to sign*
Shenton: But you let in Jeremy Cameron.
Coach elephants: It says, 'No Camerons'. We're allowed to have one.

I don't want to be a prick Ele, you're a top bloke and enjoy having you in the league but you just seem to ignore rules sometimes to basically make your own. Same thing happened in AXVIII DT, like I say don't want to be a prick to people but rules need to be followed or else other people will ask for the same leniency with other things. Im am more than happy for this to go through but I think we need to discuss the rules and follow them.

Meh, everyone is entitled to their own opinion. Life's been getting in the way of my XVS lately so I was late getting my delistings in.
Don't think for a second I'm making my own rules though. I clearly said if these can't be accepted no problem. I can't cop that haha

What im saying is IMO we need a list of rules and they need to be upheld by admin, we cant have * i may have some leniency here and there. On AXIII DT the rules were changed as a result of you not being able to use Nat 13 because you said you didn't have time to do your delistings but we had months to do them, you had plenty of time to send me multiple trade offers. After the AXVIII DT delistings you would think you would have thought I better do my AXVIII SC delistings but no.
These were the rules on AXVIII DT before they were changed to being able to wait on your delistings until after both the Nat and Rookie drafts.
* Team lists for AXVIII Delistings are kept here.
* Delistings must be done by Sunday 22nd November at 11:59pm AEST.
* All delistings that stay on an AFL list will go into the pool of players available in the Rookie draft.
* If you delist a player that is then later picked up by another AFL club you will have to re-draft them if you want them on your list.
* Compensation picks for delistings will be by reverse ladder order after the completion of the Rookie draft. Compo picks will be taken from the remaining pool of players.
* AXVIII DT squad sizes are 54 players, if you want to take all of your picks in the Nat and Rookie drafts you will need to delist 8 players.
* Nat and Rookie draft picks can be skipped if needed.
I based everything I did off these rules, sat there racking my brain thinking about the best options for delistings.. what a waste of time.
I followed the rules by exercising my right to take a chance on the leniency ;) at the end of the day mate, if you run the comp you've got the power. That's the trade off with putting time and effort into being admin

I wasn't talking about admin (im not admin haven't been for months) .. I was talking about the time I spent working who I was going to cut and who I was going to keep based on wether they had been delisted by their AFL club or not .. so it was my time as a coach that was wasted ;)
I spent the sane amount if time as you, just at a different time. If you're deeming it a waste of time being a coach is probably not for you ;)

I'll allow it, seeing as you weren't around in the gap between the drafts and our drafting starting.
