Should be a good match to start off the weekend with,Dees did ok against Crows last weekend and Tigers won convincingly over the Lions,Tigers will be looking to keep their spot in the top 8 with a 3rd win for the year,Dees will be hoping to pinch a win here to have a 2-2 record to start the season.
Went to the Richmond game last weekend and once they started to move the ball quickly from Half-Back after turnovers from around half way through the second quarter they smashed Brisbane.
If they continue with quick ball movement and not play a chipping, stagnant game they played in the first quarter and a half they should have no problems disposing of Melbourne.
If the Dees keep the pressure up for the whole game like last week (80+ tackles etc) then the Tiges will have no chance
They will play their little kick-to-kick game in the back half until Garlett swoops and runs into an open goal
Hogan to make Rance announce his immediate retirement out of shame
Dees by 4 goals
I reckon we should win, but I'm still worried.
I think it's a ripper game for a Friday night though and it should be good to watch.
Cant believe it, but I'm actually looking forward to watch this match

Just a measly 3 years ago when we last played on Friday night too, so I'm just excited by this match from the time-slot alone!
Reckon Melb will really put it to Richmond. Rich by 2-3 goals

So hopefully no repeats of that :-X
This game is a friday nighter?

Hogan the only thing I care about in this game, seeing as how Richmond aren't really a threat to the dons' top 4 assault - other than that, tiges by 26.

Oh sweet, Arnot is starting!
Jeffy to kick 7.1 tonight. The 0.1 being after the siren to result in a draw.
The chick giving the odds on Fox Footy is a looker
Drummo and Bikkies both starting over Madonna, that's a surprise.
Field Salem or Hogan? (DT)
I really want to back in Hoges. :(
Looks like some weather will be passing through in around 45 mins but it's clear behind it.
Big game pls Ivan
I tipped the Dees. Not sure why, I think the Tigers outs could bite them in the ass and the stat I found interesting is that the Tiges are 2-8 without Lids and both wins are against the Lions
Great pre game AFL. Lest We Forget
If I was Ron Barassi I wouldn't be able to do that.
Very moving. Hairs up on the back of my neck

Okay Gus, it's your time to shine.
Brilliant play from Hogan. The guy is a beast 1 on 1 at such a young age and the kick was great to Dawes as well

Good stuff by Jack, terrible finish from Griff.
Well that was a let off
Was about to pump Griffiths up then he did that...
And that.
Griff pls, get the kicking boots on. :(
Jack Watts does something well, then butchers the kick
lol watts
That makes up for the Griffiths miss
Have Jack and Griff in hot streak :P
Some of this decision making is woeful.

Hogan is convincingly beating Tross so far.
BISCUITS!
Arnot genuinely looks like Jax.
I reckon Jamar is beating Maric as well and JKH has used his body well a couple of times
If this keeps up, we'll lose this. Very reminiscent of the game vs Bulldogs.
Taylor Hunt down to the rooms. flower sake
Oh shower, Hunt might be injured. :(
Bad free to give away by Howe.
Hunt down in the rooms for some reason

kick your goals Griff
Gus! WTF. :'(
This sportsbet H2H special is amazing... To put it in context, Melbourne are yet to lose a first quarter. I won't be losing any money tonight 8) (with a little help from Griff)
I can't find a page that has the right stats. Fanfooty's stats page and the AFL.com has Martin on 4 touches, but they had him on 2 for about 10 minutes after he had that 1-2-3 and never added those on.
That torp from Dunny was flowering amazing
I'm up on level 4 on the wing and I could hear it off his boot
Keep it up Vandenberg! Lift Brayshaw
This is the most fired up I have seen Dawes in maybe 5 years. He has the black armband on and kissed it when he kicked the first goal.

Our entries into forward 50 have been flowering woeful, otherwise we'd probably have the lead.
We have had a bit of charity from the umpires though.

Not that I've always been a fan of how it's interpreted. I think it should be limited to slides, all to often I see players get pinned just for going down lower than their opponent. Nonetheless, that was one of the few genuine slides at the end of the quarter, cost them a goal

Hogan is giving Dees supporters a glimpse of the future
Hogan !!!!! We could be seeing the breakout game of an absolute star

Get flowered. Get absolutely flowered. We've shown plenty of improvement in the last 3 years. We've had two shocking games so far this season which we really should have won, but to say we've not shown any improvement is the biggest flowering load of pessimistic bullshower I have heard. Get the flower out.

That makes 2 of us 8)
I backed them with SB's H2H special knowing the Dees have been fast starters, but didn't tip them/actually expect them to get up :O
Same problem we've had for years depth, we're simply noncompetitive when we're missing a few of our best 22.

Also something to consider in the future when tipping Tigers games
Quote from: Mat0369 on April 24, 2015, 07:24:53 PM
I tipped the Dees. Not sure why, I think the Tigers outs could bite them in the ass and the stat I found interesting is that the Tiges are 2-8 without Lids and both wins are against the Lions

I think if Sydney hadn't fielded a half-strength side last year, a lot more questions would be being asked. Didn't make much of a difference though...
Improvement has definitely been made, however just not enough. Riewoldt is meant to be a star AA forward, Deledio, Martin and Cotchin a dreamteam midfield etc. They just don't do it
often enough, which I think you've conceded, especially in the big moments (lack of leadership? perhaps.)

Hoges tho <3 2.1 2 goal assists and 10 scoring involvements from 13 touches is awesome for a 4th gamer :D 3 contested marks to extend his lead over the rest of the comp to 4, 4 marks inside 50 too :3 bona fide superstar

Hardwick has to go, I have never seen him coach the team to victory in the wet, just a poor match day tactician.
Gonna have to loophole both Vanders and Hogan in.
Just need to hope there are no late outs that affect me before my other rookies play.

Yeah I have the e on vandenberg but have wines Gray and Goodes out ... Will swing Gray to mids and get vanders score and trade wines to a forward which keep Clark on the bench
Then trade Goodes to smith
The issue is ... Not sure which prem forward I get in .... And Sloane better not go 150 because was going to get him in for wines

I really like Dimma - he's personality is great and he just seems like the perfect coach for Richmond
It would feel weird if he wasn't their coach but you have a point - perhaps the players are so used to him now and respond him to him a certain way that they might need a new coach to light a fire up them and get them to the next level

Another wasted 5 year plan, can't see the team progressing from here. This hasn't been helped by Francis Jackson who has failed to nail any picks outside the top 20 (Edwards aside).

I think he's run his course as coach we're certainly in better shape than at the end of our previous coaches tenures but I can't see how the side can improve under Hardwick.
