Seeing as we are entering our 4th year in WXVs, there will be a lot of playings reaching that 50 game milestone this year, so I thought we could dedicate a thread to these players and officially recognise their efforts!

Round 1 Milestone men
All these players played their 50th match in round 1.
Ben Cunnington (Toronto)
Started his career at New York and was drafted at pick 317 (18th round) in the Official WXV Draft by then coach Sid.
Brent Harvey (Mexico City)
Has now played for three clubs; New Delhi, Buenos Aires and now Mexico City. Boomer was initially drafted at pick 121 by then New Delhi coach FisherSaints.
Harry Taylor (Beijing)
Has stayed loyal to his Beijing Thunder (and Bears for you old-coaches) for the whole of his career, and was originally drafted at pick 87 by then coach bomberboy.
Luke Dahlhaus (Tokyo)
Enter's his fourth season for Tokyo as a one club player, yet was originally drafted by current PNL coach HP all the way down at Pick 266.
Matt Priddis (PNL)
Again, like Taylor and Dahlhaus, has played all of his 50 games for one club. Priddis was the first player ever drafted by PNL, by current coach HP at pick 14.
Robert Murphy (Dublin)
Has played for London, Moscow and Dublin in his 50 game career, and yet was originally drafted by current Cape Town co-coach My Chumps at pick 103.
Ryan Griffen (Toronto)
Has played for Seoul, Moscow and made his debut for Toronto to bring up his 50th. Griffen was originally drafted by former-administrator ossie85 at Pick 41!

Boomer has another 100 at least in him. Cunnington probably retire before him.
Big weekend for Cunners...100th in the AFL and 50th in the WXV - didn't realise he'd been taken 18th round in the initial draft!
Dahlhaus proving an absolute steal
Can't remember what I gave up for Dahlhaus but definitely happy to have him & will hopefully make it to a 100+ as a Tokyo player 8)
Danger 50 this week I believe 8)

L. Dahlhaus + T. Gillies FOR J. Harbrow + T. Dennis-Lane
Fair to say, I'd prefer Dahlhaus over Harbrow now :(. But not the worse trade as Harbrow has been solid down back for us.
And Priddis you beast! Probably taken too early in the initial draft but shows his worth with his consistency usually :D.
Round 2 Milestone Men These players celebrated their 50th WXV match in round 2
Brent Stanton (London)Has been a Royal his entire career, and a serviceable one at that. Stanton was originally drafted with Pick 82 (5th round) by then London-coach Cookie Monster.
Danyle Pearce (London)The second Royal to bring up his milestone, has also played for London his entire career, originally drafted all the way down at Pick 371 (Round 21) by then London-coach Cookie Monster.
Hamish Hartlett (Christchurch)Brings up his 50th in his 2nd for Christchurch, Hartlett played his first 48 games for the disbanded Sao Paulo Pumas, originally drafted by premiership-coach CrowsFan/Honeybadger at Pick 75 (5th Round).
Jarryd Blair (Pacific)Jarryd Balir has travelled the world; playing for Sao Paulo, then New Delhi before bringing up his 50th with the Pacific Islanders. Blair was originally drafted at Pick 214 (12th round) by then Sao Paulo coach CrowsFan/Honeybadger.
Kade Simpson (Mexico City)Simpson has played his 50 games across two clubs; first playing under the PNL Reindeers before making his move to Mexico City, where he brought up his 50th match. Simpson was originally drafted at Pick 122 (7th round) in the original draft.
Patrick Dangerfield (Seoul)And last and certainly not least, we see Patrick Dangerfield bring up 50 matches; all in Seoul colours and remains arguably their best ever player. Dangerfield was originally drafted amazingly at Pick 57 (4th round)! But there is even more drama, when in fact the Beijing Bears (that's right, not Thunder) originally drafted him under the tutelage of bomberboy. Dangerfield was traded in the first ever trade window (before the start of the inaugural season) to then Seoul-coach and former-administrator ossie85, in move that can only be described as a masterstroke:
Quote3. ossie85 trades Matt Kreuzer and Steele Sidebottom to bomberboy0618 for Brett Deledio and Patrick Dangerfield
About my only successful trade
And Danger will retire a one club player, at least in WXV.
Round 3 Milestone MenThese players celebrated their 50th WXV senior match in round 3
Adam Treloar (Berlin)This superstar has brought up his 50th match at the tender age of just 22, one wonders if he will be one of the first to bring up 200? Treloar started his career at Moscow, then to New York and now to Berlin. Treloar was actually originally drafted by then-Beijing coach bomberboy, all the way down at Pick 304 in the 17th round. He was then infamously traded to Moscow in possibly the worst trade of all time:
Quote8. bomberboy0618 trades Adam Treloar to meow meow for Brian Lake (confirmed)
2 Objections
Ben Howlett (Pacific)A perhaps unlikely type to make 50 games, Ben Howlett started his career at Mexico City before making his way to Pacific. I guess every team wants depth, and when a depth player is always around, they rack up the games (I say this because a lot of them are approaching 50 games). Howlett was originally drafted at Pick 227 by then coach (and eventual premiership coach) Maca24, in the 13th round.
Bryce Gibbs (Christchurch)Gibbs brings up his 50th match in his 3rd for Christchurch, after previously playing his other 47 for Seoul. Gibbs was an original boom recruit, one of the rare few (18 to be precise) selected in the first round of the original draft at Pick 17, by then coach ossie85.
Chris Mayne (London)Mayne is the third royal in 2 weeks to bring up his 50th, and like his team-mates, he has played his entire career for London. To have three bring it up at basically the same time, none of them playing for another club, is quite incredible if you ask me. Mayne was originally selected at Pick 241 in the 14th round.
Jack Redden (Pacific)Redden brings up his 50th in his second year for the Islanders, after previously playing for Cairo and Dublin. Redden was originally drafted at pick 28 in the second round of the initial draft.
Jeremy Howe (Pacific)Howe did he do it you ask? By first playing for... me (Berlin). Howe did he get traded by a die-hard melbourne supporter? I don't know. I like to think he was one of my few bargain picks in the original draft though, selected at pick 220 in 13th round (the same round as fellow team-mate and half centurion this week in Ben Howlett! Howe cool is that?!). Three in one week for the Islanders!
Lance Franklin (Dublin)The second of the original drafts' boom recruits to bring up the 50th, big Buddy Franklin got his 50 by playing for two clubs; currently Dublin, and again, previously me (Berlin). I chose (with no regrets) Buddy at Pick 5 in the coveted first round. It took 4 months (I'm not lying, 4 months) of talks between myself and Dublin for him to get traded at the end of 2013.
Luke Breust (Cairo)Luke brings up his 50th playing for his second club in Cairo, after previously playing for London. Breust was originally drafted an absolute bargain, all the way down at Pick 262 in the 15th round by then coach Cookiemonster.
Shaun Atley (Buenos Aires)The second 22 year old to notch up the 50 in round 3, Shaun Atley as played for bottom clubs is whole career, first at the the wooden spooners in Dublin, then the formerly struggling New York, and now Buenos Aires. Atley was originally drafted ALL the way down at Pick 375 by then and current Dublin coach Holz.
Coming thick and fast now...
Indeed. I may have to cut down on the write-ups :-X
I agree Howlett the most unlikely guy thus far to crack the 50 milestone :P.
Round 4 Milestone Men
These players celebrated their 50th WXV senior match in round 4
Chris Masten (New Delhi)
Started his career at Cairo, being going to Sao Paulo and now to New Delhi. Was originally drafted at pick 350 (Round 22) by then Moscow-coach meow meow.
Eddie Betts (Beijing)
Betts has been with Beijing his whole career (can never get enough of these loyal types, I think they need the most congratulation). Betts was originally drafted at Pick 129 (Round 8 ) by then coach bomberboy.
Jay Schulz (Buenos Aires)
Schulz is another that bleeds for Buenos Aires, having never played anywhere else in his 50 game career. Was originally drafted at Pick 362 (Round 21) by then coach PowerBug.
Jobe Watson (Dublin)
Started his career at Cape Town before making the move to Dublin. Watson was originally drafted at pick 42 (Round 3) by then and current Cape Town co-coach My Chumps
Paul Duffield (New York)
A personal favourite of mine, seeing as he started his career at Berlin, before moving to Seoul (in a move that got Berlin Jack Steven), then was traded back to Berlin to win the club Coaches Award in 2014, before again being traded, this time to New York (in a move that got Berlin Adam Treloar). Duffman will always have a place in my heart, and I have no regrets at drafting him at Pick 149 (Round 7) in the original draft. Congrats Duffman!
Just the 5 this time!
Good on ya Eddie! Big one in your 50th pls! :)
Just out of curiosity Purps, Ollie Wines is on 49 AFL games - how close is he to the milestone in WXV? Would have to be close!
Masten surprises me a bit ..

Wines has currently played 37 senior WXV matches... which is a little nuts.
:o! I would've thought he'd be a bit closer than that! Still not bad for a 20 year old 8) Hopefully he can get there this year!

Well, considering there is 17 WXV matches a year plus finals, I reckon that's crazy haha. But the number does seem smaller than what I first thought too.

I didn't think of this :P That means he'd played every single WXV game between his debut and his Rd 3 injury! Which is huge when you put it that way 8)
So many last week!
Round 5 Milestone men
These players celebrated their 50th WXV senior match in round 5
Andrew Swallow (Toronto)
Andrew first played for Beijing before number one fan (unconfirmed) Toronto coach rb organised a trade. Swallow was one of the initial super 18 group selected in the first round (Pick 16) in the initial draft, by then coach bomberboy.
Dayne Zorko (Christchurch)
Dayne's been everywhere man. Started his career at New Delhi, before being traded to Toronto, then to Berlin and then finally to Christchurch. Zorko was originally drafted all the way down at Pick 228 (13th round) by then coach FisherSaints.
Dion Prestia (Cairo)
Dion started his career at Pacific before moving to New York and now to Cairo. Prestia was originally drafted 6 spots before Zorko at Pick 222 (13th round) by then coach c4v3m4n.
Heath Shaw (New York)
Heater started his career at Moscow but now brings up his 50 with New York. Heath was originally drafted at pick 46 (3rd round) by then-coach and current Christchurch coach meow meow.
Ivan Maric (Mexico City)
Can't get enough of the one club 50 gamers! Ivan is a Sun through-an-through, and was originally drafted ALL the way down at pick 265 (15th round) by then coach Maca24.
Jack Steven (Berlin)
I saved this magnificent stallion from the clutches of his first club in Seoul, before he went on to break out to the player he is now at Berlin. Steven was stolen at the original draft at pick 163 (10th round) by then coach ossie85 (I think I've said that quite a bit about ossie... I think he drafted pretty darn well).
Luke Parker (Tokyo)
But if you thought Steven was a steal, then check this out! It is no wonder Parker is a one-club 50 gamer, because the amount of sentimental value of drafter and current coach Boomz would have for him would be huge from his pick... wait for it... 343! In the 20th round! I reckon this is the biggest steal I've recognised as playing 50 games so far.
Marc Murphy (Rio de Janeiro)
Marc Murphy is the second player from the original super 18 we recognise today for playing 50 games, after playing for Wellington before bringing up the milestone for Rio. Murphy was the 4th overall pick by then coach pothead.
Nic Naitanui (Moscow)
And now we recognise three! Nic Naitanui was the 11th player picked in the original super 18, and along with Gibbs and Priddis from that group, has stuck with his club the entire time. Naitanui was drafted by then coach meow meow.
Sean Dempster (Christchurch)
Probably our most unique milestone man, Dempster brings up his 50 after playing for Cairo, Wellington and now Christchurch. Dempster was originally drafted... *squints*... at Pick 585 (33rd round)! I think that could be the lowest so far... but may be wrong. Dempster was originally drafted by then and current Cairo co-coach MajorLazer.
Steve Johnson (New York)
Stevie J started his career at PNL, before making the switch to Buenos Aires and settling at New York. Johnson was originally drafted at Pick 59 (4th round) by then coach HP.
Big Ivan :-*
Wouldn't be many one team 50 gamers out there.
Nic Nat you are legitimately the worst player of all time and the bane of my fantasy-existance

I somewhat shamefully have a certain melbourne defender that's about to hit 50 games; all played for me :-X
Harry Taylor and Eddie both one-club 50 gamers for us, soon to be joined by Ollie Wines when he gets back on the park :-*
Good to see all these milestones.

No, but that's a good idea!
In the meantime, these are the players (before this round) that have played 60 or more games:
Bradley Ebert 65
Rory Sloane 63
Bachar Houli 62
Jarryd Roughead 62
Jordan Lewis 62
Shaun Burgoyne 62
Josh P Kennedy 61
Trent Cotchin 61
Brendon Goddard 60

Round 6 Milestone men
These players celebrated their 50th WXV senior match in round 6
David Zaharakis (Rio de Janeiro)
Zaharakis initially played for Sao Paulo before remaining in the country in to play his 50th with Rio de Janeiro. Zaharakis was initially drafted with Pick 38 (3rd Round) by then coach CrowsFan/HoneyBadger
Grant Birchall (Dublin)
Debuted with New York before making his way to Dublin. Birchall was initially drafted at Pick 44 (3rd round) by then New York coach Sid.
Leigh Montagna (New York)
Made his debut with Cairo, before having a stint at New Delhi and now finally at New York. Montagna was initially drafted with Pick 64 (4th round) by then and current co-coach of Cairo, MajorLazer.
Paddy Ryder (Toronto)
Ryder has played his entire 50 games at Toronto and joins that exclusive club of loyal 50 gamers. Ryder was initially drafted at Pick 36 (3rd Round, that's 3 players from the third round this week!), by then and current coach roo boys.
Shannon Hurn (Mexico City)
Hurn started his career with Buenos Aires before making the move to Mexico City. Hurn was initially drafted at Pick 74 (5th round) by then Buenos Aires coach PowerBug.
Now, you see all these players reaching their 50, and all of them were drafted in the top 75.
But none, surpass the greatness, of this players' journey to 50.
Colin Garland (Berlin)
The magnificent stallion is the first player for Berlin to play 50 games for the club (all of them with Berlin), and hence has the club-record for most games played with the club. You cannot underestimate the value of a consistent defender that hovers around that 75-80 mark. I remember, particularly in 2013, I tried to drop him for like 7 weeks in a row, but someone always got injured, so he remained my D4, but, with two centuries already this year, he has developed into a stalwart for me :). I initially drafted this gun with Pick 284 in the 16th round 8)
Well done Col... and the rest I guess.

Brendon Goddard 60

Jack Riewoldt 60

Garland has paved a nice little spot in your backline, going unnoticed mostly on his way to 50 games!
No surprise on the others really!
Round 7 Milestone men
These players celebrated their 50th WXV senior match in round 7
Just the two!
Angus Monfries (Moscow)
Monfries initially played for Toronto before making the move to Moscow. Monfries was originally drafted at Pick 145 (9th round) by then and current Toronto coach roo boys.
Matthew Boyd (Christchurch)
More known as a former Armadillo and than Saint (played for Buenos Aires for 3 years), Boyd brought up the 50th with Christchurch in Round 7. Boyd was initially drafted at Pick 34 (2nd round) by then Buenos Aires coach PowerBug.
Also, these are all the players that have played 50 or more WXV senior matches... Ebert is just a machine.

They're all on your database bro, gotta live in the present 8)
But yeah, should have been more specific, those are all CURRENT players to have played more than 50 WXV senior matches.
Round 8 Milestone men
These players celebrated their 50th WXV senior match in round 8
We've slowed down a bit now, with only 3 more to reach the milestone last week:
Andrew Mackie (Rio de Janeiro)
Mackie brings up his 50th with Rio after starting his career with London. Andrew was initially drafted at pick 135 (Round 8) by then London Coach Cookie Monster.
Brett Deledio (Mexico City)
Lids has now played 50 games over 3 clubs in his career, starting at Seoul before moving to Wellington and now Mexico City. Deledio was originally drafted at Pick 21 (3rd round) by then-Beijing coach bomberboy, who traded Deledio to Seoul before a match was played.
Matthew Stokes (Mexico City)
This little champion notches up his 50th with teammate Deledio, after starting his career out as a mediocre small forward for Berlin, to then turn into a good midfielder (one of the key pillars in Berlin's 2013 rise), before heading out to New York and now to Mexico City. I originally drafted Stokes at Pick 140 (8th Round), and remember him as a reliable soldier for me.
Sorry Purps, but Stokes is getting a rest this week.
He'll play his 50th next week against you :P

Haha flower, I thought they were this week's 50th gamers :-[
Round 9 Milestone men
These players celebrated their 50th WXV senior match in round 9
David Hale (Rio de Janeiro)
Hale was stuck on 49 games for a long time until he was finally called up for his 50th in Round 9. Hale has been around; starting his career at Toronto, then at Cairo, then at Buenos Aires then finally at Rio de Janeiro. Hale was originally drafted with Pick 252 (14th Round) by Toronto coach roo boys.
Heritier Lumumba (London)
Lumumba started his career as Harry O'Brien for Seoul, before being traded to London to which he now has played his 50th match. Lumumba was initially drafted at Pick 196 (11th Round) by then Seoul coach ossie85.
Jack Grimes (Berlin)
This embodiment of frustration started his career at Cape Town, before I hunted him down with everything I had and got him to Berlin. For a guy that promised so much as a potential 90-100 averaging defender, injuries and poor form has stopped him from doing anything close to that. Still, he hasn't been the worst player either. Grimes was initially drafted at Pick 78 (5th Round) by Cape Town co-coach My Chumps.
Jarrod Harbrow (PNL)
Haven't had one of these in a while, Harbrow has played all of his 50 games with PNL, more or less as a dependable defender. Harbrow was initially drafted at Pick 127 (Round 8 ) by Tokyo coach Boomz, who then traded Harbrow to PNL before the first match of the season.
Luke Hodge (PNL)
Hodge enjoyed a great career at Mexico City before his move to PNL at the end of last year. Hodge was initially drafted at Pick 47 (3rd Round) by then Mexico City coach Maca24.
Michael Hibberd (Berlin)
This absolute gun, boy howdy what a gun, has played ALL of his 50 games for Berlin; racking up many club-achievements that I won't bore you with along the way. What makes Hibberd especially awesome, was that I drafted him at a bargain price if you ask me, all the way down at Pick 212 (12th Round)! Hibberd is one of a handful that coincided his breakout year with other Berlin players in our famous 2013-year, where we turned a 16th finish into a preliminary finalist team.
Sam Mitchell (Christchurch)
Mitchell brought up his 50th with Christchurch in Round 9, after starting his career at Toronto and then to Tokyo. Mitchell was originally drafted at Pick 35 (2nd Round) by Toronto coach roo boys.
Shane Edwards (London)
Perhaps the most underrated player in the comp? Edwards has broken out this year (and in the process broke my heart a little) to be a premium forward for London to which he brings up his 50th game. But Edwards played his first two years at Berlin, the first of which he won my Coaches Award, so it's safe to say I've always rated him. Edwards, like Hibberd, was also a key plank in our 2013 year. I only traded him out at the end of 2013 because I was convinced he would lose his forward status, which he didn't, but even if he did, he has proven this year to be worthy of a place in anyones starting midfield. Edwards, was just the one that got away for me :'(. Oh yeah, one of the major reasons he got my Coaches Award, was because I drafted him so damn late at Pick 401 (23rd Round)!
Happy for Harbrow to reach the 50 games! Slots in well the the D3/D4 position for us and has proven handy in the past. Although the trade to get him probably is going to cost us in the long run (Involved Dahlhaus).
Hodge joins us this season and been in solid form, even outscoring Kade who we traded out for him! Glad for him to hopefully end his career with us ;).
Bit late on this, thought I'd do it before I record last nights' scores:
Round 10 Milestone men
These players celebrated their 50th WXV senior match in round 10
Dayne Beams (Cairo)
Beams made his debut for Moscow, before making the move to Cairo to where he now plays his 50th. Beams was originally drafted, and my god what a bargain, by then Moscow-coach and current Christchurch coach meow, at get this, Pick 98 (6th Round)!!!
Jack Watts (Berlin)
Ah Jack, the guy I have to defend year in, year out. Watts made his debut for me, in a year that he averaged 86 as a forward... I wanna make that clear :P, he HAS that potential! Anyway, I actually traded him out to Dublin, where he stagnated, so I then had to go rescue him again. Well, he hasn't lived up to that debut year so far this year... so I'm at odds. Anyway, congrats Jack! I'm not sure you'll get better support from any other person Jack... Watts was actually drafted by Cape Town at Pick 139 (8th round) by then and current Cape Town co-coach My Chumps.
Jack Ziebell (Toronto)
Oh he is a Wolf through-and-through this guy! All 50 games with Toronto, which isn't surprising considering he has the affections of his coach :P. Ziebell was originally drafted at Pick 108 (Round 6) by then and current Toronto coach roo boys.
Luke Shuey (Christchurch)
Shuey played his first 3 years at Tokyo, before making the move to Christchurch at the end of last year. Shuey was originally drafted at Pick 55 (4th round) by then and current Tokyo coach Boomz.
Mitch Robinson (Toronto)
Robinson started his career out at Buenos Aires before making the move to Toronto. Robinson was originally drafted at Pick 110 (Round 7) by then Buenos Aires coach PowerBug.
Pearce Hanley (Cairo)
Hanley made his most welcome return to WXVs football in style to bring up his 50th WXV match; ALL for Cairo! Hanley bleeds grains of sand, and is vital to Cairo's success. Hanley was drafted at the bargain price of Pick 136 (8th round) by then and current Cairo co-coach MajorLazer.
Stephen Hill (Rio de Janeiro)
Hill started his career out at London, before moving to Sao Paulo and then re-drafted to Rio de Janeiro when Sao Paulo folded. Hill was originally drafted at Pick 186 (11th round) by Cape Town co-coach My Chumps, where he proceeded to trade Hill before the season started to London.
"bleeds sand" love it..
I agree Watts has potential... just failed potential is all.
Two good servants of the club!
It's a shame Hanley had to wait so long for his 50th.
Ziebs :-*
Robbo has been a little less loved during his time at Toronto I'll say that much
Glad to see Watts get up there even if he is patchy :P. And Cairo gets the double up in the one round 8).
Round 11 Milestone men
These players celebrated their 50th WXV senior match in round 11
Lewis Jetta (Berlin)
This gun started out his career at Tokyo before making the move to Berlin at the end of 2013. Jetta was originally drafted ALL the way down at Pick 449 (25th round), by then and current Tokyo coach Boomz.
Jack Gunston (Dublin)
Gunston also initially played for Tokyo, then made the move to Sao Paulo and now to Dublin. He was originally drafted at Pick 233 (Round 13) again by then and current Tokyo coach Boomz.
Dan Hannebery (London)
Hannebery originally played for Sao Paulo before shifting to London. He was an absolute bargain at Pick 142 (Round 8) and selected by then Sao Paulo coach CrowsFan.
Matthew Broadbent (Mexico City)
Broadbent started his career out at London before making the move to Mexico City at the end of last year. He was originally taken at Pick 351 (20th round), by then London-coach Cookie Monster.
David Armitage (Moscow)
This late-blossomer started his career at Cairo, then traded to New York and finally at Moscow. He was originally drafted at the bargain base price of Pick 316 (Round 18), by then and current Cairo co-coach MajorLazer.
Mike Pyke (New York)
Not only is it rare for a New York player to be on the 2015 pay-roll and 2014 pay-roll, Pyke has lasted all 4 years at the Eagles/Revolution, which means all his 50 games have been for the one club. To make it a bit more sentimental, he was drafted so very very late, at Pick 533 (30th round) by then New York coach sid.
Isaac Smith (Toronto)
Isaac started his career out for Wellington, and with the team folding, resulted in him going to Toronto where he has truly stepped up. Smith was originally drafted at Pick 141 (8th round, one pick before Hannebery (see above), that's pretty cool!), by then Wellington coach pothead.
Matthew Pavlich (Toronto)
He was a veteran when he was drafted, but has stuck it out and still been a gun! Started his career at PNL, then relayed to Mexico City and now to Toronto... he doesn't have time for the weaker teams! Pav was originally drafted at Pick 50 (3rd round) by then and current PNL coach HP.
Round 12 Milestone men
These players celebrated their 50th WXV senior match in the round just gone by.
Bernie Vince (Rio de Janeiro)
Bernie played his first game for New York, before making the move to Mexico City and now to Rio. Despite playing his debut year for New York, he was originally drafted by Sao Paulo at Pick 219 (13th Round) by premiership coach CrowsFan/Honeybadger.
Cale Hooker (Beijing)
From a Bear to Thunder, but always at Beijing, Cale Hooker has electricity running through veins and has been a loyal servant to particularly the Toga/Q reign. Hooker was originally drafted at Pick 412 (23rd Round) by then Beijing coach bomberboy. Gee, he has turned into a bargain hasn't he?
Jamie Elliott (Christchurch)
Speaking of bargains, Elliott played his first 3 years at Pacific, before making the move to Christchurch at the end of last season. I say bargain, because he was drafted all the way down at Pick 498 (28th Round) by then Pacific coach and current Beijing co-coach Master Q.
Lindsay Thomas (Buenos Aires)
He hasn't had a particularly good year... at all. But he has amassed 50 games somehow, first at Cape Town, then to Cairo, then to Pacific and finally Buenos Aires. He's been around, ol Lindsay. He was originally drafted at Pick 294 (17th round) by then and current Cape Town co-coach My Chumps.
Nat Fyfe (Berlin)
Ohhhhhh it's a memorable day! The future 8 time Jim Stynes Medalist (I can only assume, still haven't got round to tallying this years votes) brings up his 50th with me! To think a gun of this calibre was traded away by 3 clubs... crazy. First, in his debut year he played for New York, then traded to Moscow where he played for his second year, then had a brief stay at Dublin (didn't play there) before making his final move in his career to Berlin. Fyfe is a member of the first, original and super 18 in the original draft, drafted at Pick 8 (1st round) by then New York coach Sid.
Hooksy! One of our more consistent players, bit underrated I reckon. A rock in our backline!

If you want to continue that trend in the off-season by trading him to us then feel free Purps...

If only you had Hogan, Tyson, Brayshaw, Salem and Petracca...
Your 20% of the way there! :P
We've got another 20% ;)
And Jack Trengove makes up the last 60%
Dan Hannebery (London)
Hannebery originally played for Sao Paulo before shifting to London. He was an absolute bargain at Pick 142 (Round 8) and selected by then Sao Paulo coach CrowsFan.
London gives: Brad Sheppard & Stephen Hill
Sao Paulo gives: Pick 89, Dan Hanneberry and Zach Touhy
One of the few trades I think I came out in front.
Hanners is a star and always has been, amazed how he continues to be under rated.
Couldn't believe I got him at pick 8 in the i5s for example
Round 13 Milestone men
These players celebrated their 50th WXV senior match in the round just gone by.
Just the 2 this week!
Cyril Rioli (PNL)
It has been a delicious 50 games for the little master; all for the one club in PNL! Cyril is so much of a Reindeer that some say he has grown fur all over his body, and that he has taken a liking to running on all fours. Nonetheless, a premium forward for all 50 of his games, Cyril was PNL's second pick in the initial draft (Pick 23), drafted by then and current PNL coach HP.
Sam Gibson (Pacific)
Perhaps a totally different profile to Cyril, but what Gibson can say he shares with Cyril is that he has played ALL of his 50 games with one club (this case the Islanders), nailing down that M4/U1 spot on a consistent basis. He may not score huge, but he doesn't score badly either. A true stalwart for the Islanders. But what makes Sam Gibson special (and correct me ossie if I am wrong), but Gibson is the first EVER player to reach 50 games that hasn't come from the Official WXV draft! Gibson was selected in the first ever pre-season draft (right after the Official draft in 2011), in the third round (Pick 39). To put it another way, Gibson was the 38th last person picked... and there was approx. 830 players picked in total. So well done Gibson! Then Pacific coach c4 was the one to pounce.
cyril :D we love him at PNL here's too many many more games
A round too late with the Round 14 ones, sorry about that. But anyway:
Round 14 Milestone men
These players celebrated their 50th WXV senior match in Round 14.
Chad Wingard (PNL)
The superstar from PNL brought up his 50th WXV match, quite quickly really! Wingard is truly one of the mega stars of the future, and how glad must PNL be that he has played all 50 of his matches as a Reindeer? Wingard follows last week's special case in Sam Gibson, as the second player to reach 50 games drafted outside of the Official WXV Draft, but the first player to come from the first International draft! Wingard was selected with Pick 5 in this draft, selected by then and current PNL coach HP... what a pick-up!
Chris Yarran (Tokyo)
Yarran started his career out at Seoul, before moving to Mexico City and now Tokyo; traded at the end of last year. Yarran was originally selected by former Seoul coach and administrator ossie85 with Pick 88 (Round 5) in the Official Draft.
Daniel Cross (Berlin)
I've done a little research, and it appears Daniel Cross has an omen attached to him over his fine WXV career. Cross originally played for Sao Paulo for one year, before moving to Buenos Aires for two years and now finally at the Brewers this year. The constant? Cross has played for a preliminary finalist (but not grand finalist) in each of his 3 years prior to this one. He wasn't available for selection due to injury in 2012, he played in the losing prelim final in 2013, and wasn't in the starting 18 last year. I'm not sure if this omen is a good or bad for me. Anyway, Cross was originally selected at Pick 106 (Round 6) by then Sao Paulo coach Crowsfan.
James Kelly (Toronto)
James Kelly started his career out at Seoul before making the move to Buenos Aires, then to Toronto at the end of last year. Kelly was originally selected at Pick 125 (Round 7) also by former Seoul coach and administrator ossie85.
Josh J Kennedy (New York)
JJK plays has played for a different club in every year he has played WXVs football, starting out at Cairo, then to Seoul, then to Berlin and now at New York, where he is playing his finest WXV footy in his career. JJK was originally selected at Pick 91 (Round 5) by then and current Cairo co-coach MajorLazer.
Shaun Higgins (Cape Town)
Mr Tease himself, Higgins started his career at Moscow before making the move to Cape Town, where only now he is FINALLY starting to show the form that we previously only saw at a glimpse-basis. Higgins was originally selected at Pick 62 (Round 4) by then Moscow coach and current Christchurch coach meow meow.
Round 15 Milestone men
These players celebrated their 50th WXV senior match in the round just gone by.
Josh Caddy (Beijing)
The young Josh Caddy started his career at Dublin before making the move to Beijing, where he is playing his third season at. Caddy was originally selected at Pick 267 (Round 15) by then and current Dublin coach Holz.
Paul Puopolo (Cairo)
Poppy, like Hanley before him, bleeds grains of sand for Cairo having played all of his 50 games for the club. He has been through it all; finals, the dreaded 9th... and now. Still, Poppy was originally selected at Pick 117 (Round 7) by then and current Cairo co-coach MajorLazer.
Robbie Gray (Moscow)
The injury prone superstar has played for 3 clubs; Toronto for two years (where he averaged 71 and 82 respectively), then roo boys must have said something mean, because when he moved to Dublin the year after, he exploded out to average 111, for him only to get passed on to Moscow, where he fortunately for them has continued on the premier forward of the competition. Ouch Toronto. Toronto coach roo boys originally selected Gray at Pick 72 (Round 4).
Tom $cully (Christchurch)
Tom started his career out at Seoul for 3 years before making the move to Christchurch at the end of last year, where he now is playing the best WXV football in his career. Tom was originally selected at Pick 91 (Round 6) by former Seoul coach and administrator ossie85.

That shows shows what a Good coach and a great organisation can do to a player.
Good on ya Caddy 8) Really starting to live up to that potential this year!

Nah don't stress, I managed to trade him for Mitch Robinson, Tommy Walsh and Daniel Nicholson 8)
Seriously though, seeing 6 of the top 20 SC forwards having been at Toronto at some stage or another kinda breaks my heart
Round 16 Milestone men
These players celebrated their 50th WXV senior match in the round just gone by.
Aaron Sandilands (Christchurch)
Big Sandi is arguably the most significant player in Mexico City's (his first club) history. Why you ask? Well, he was a premiership player in 2012 for the Mexico City Suns, awarded BOG as well that day, following on from his BOG performance in the preliminary final leading up to the premiership. Forever ingrained in the history books, Sandi was traded from the Suns where he played for 3 years to Christchurch, where he is likely to play a big role in finals again. He was originally drafted at Pick 25 (Round 2) by former Mexico City coach Maca24, with absolutely no regrets I can only assume.
Shaun Grigg (Mexico City)
Grigg has played for a different club every year as he searches for permanency, starting his career out at Beijing, before moving to Cairo, then Dublin and now at Mexico City. His best season was played at Beijing, but he has been more than handy for the Suns this year. Grigg was originally drafted at Pick 231 (Round 13) by then Beijing coach bomberboy.
Sandi is a legend! Not only did he helps us win a premiership, he also got us Rocky.
Grigg has surprised me, been very useful this season!
Round 17 Milestone men
These players celebrated their 50th WXV senior match in the round just gone by.
Brodie Smith (Cairo)
Brodie started his career out at Moscow, before moving to New York and finally at Cairo, where he has now finished his second year at. Brodie's breakout year was definitely 2014 at Cairo where he proved himself to be a premium defender, but has struggled a little this year. Nonetheless, I reckon he would see himself as one of Karen's boys. Smith was originally picked at Pick 314 (Round 18) by former Moscow and current Christchurch coach meow meow.
Liam Shiels (Beijing)
Shiels debuted with Tokyo, before making the move to Beijing at the end of 2012. Now three seasons in with his stay at the Thunder, Shiels has only now started to establish himself as potential WXV star. Liam was originally selected at Pick 90 (5th round) by then and current Tokyo coach Boomz.

Ha
No 50 gamers for last weekend.
Will mention though that the WXVs leading games holder, Bradley Ebert (78), increased the gap between him and Houli (74) and Burgoyne (74), only fellow Mexico City player Goddard (73) keeping the gap the same.
Will also sneakily mention my Rory Atkins played his debut match in an elimination final :P

So if Ebert plays this week it is he's 80th match?
That's a startling average of 20 games per year - or 3 finals

Cmon, at least announce Matthew Watson made his Worlds Debut ;D.
He made a club debut, that's different :P
I misread it then... And even then, I swore he played last season sometime for PNL :-X. So brain fade on my part :P.
