This is probably the most fantasy relevant game of the NAB so far for me which is actually a surprise

Really hope these guys all get played a lot tonight so we can see how they go :P

Why you take out Stretch :(
Ben Newton gets the first goal
Nice mark by Newton
Newton and Jones working really well together
Jones is racking up the pill but butchering it.

This as well
Sam delivering some serious Frost-burns in his tackles, I love it!
Cam Sutcliffe has been real impressive for the Dockers. He has shown some dash from defense.
Tyson looks good but gee I see him getting a heavy tag this year
Jones won't cop that tag
Stream not working >:(
Nice snap from Crozier

The siren is a classic!! ;D
Sutcliffe has been pretty good so far
Are we taking a lot out of this game? Both teams look stuffed already and there are skill errors everywhere.
That is the 2nd one Salem dropped that he should have taken.
Also how did Bulldogs vs Richmond have no subs due to the heat rule and it was like 24 degrees and this one that looks like it is actually in hot weather there is no heat policy?
It's pretty windy as well
I am starting to notice Pearce a bit this quarter. He seems to be getting a bit around the wing/hbf
Not jumping off the kid yet ... But salem just doesn't get around the pill at all early on
Nothin too different to last year if I'm honest, but it is a NAB challenge after all. Neither team really cares.
The big Pav winding back the clock.
Only Nab but Melbourne still can't seem to get the fundamentals of footy right (simple kicking and marking)
Jimmy Toumpas still gets on my nerves... Probably unfairly, but I just look at him and... I dunno lol.
Barlow rolled his ankle will probably get subbed out
32 today in perth. They would get a nice breeze down at freo but. First hit out but... Freo should be used to this heat... Melbourne not so much! Loving Newton!
What's tabener worth in dt? Looks a good player!
Gee Melbourne still useless ...
Does Gawn know which team he's playing for? :o

Tyson and jones jets!
Hogan and Dawes are 2 targets
Toumpas is no bloody good
Grimes looking bloody horrible duno what has happened to this bloke

Playing much better though. Really like the look of vandenberg since he came on
That vandenberg looks a very big body out there ... Ready to go?
Vandenberg has really impressed me, and Hogans' had a quarter :D
Perhaps there is room for the Burger-Van in our round 1 side?
I think the Dees vs Dogs game is going to be intriguing for fantasy prospects
Blakely on
Barlow subbed and Blakely gets a run now
Jeffy :'(
Do you think Hogan is going to pull a Scott Lucas and not handpass after that one?
That was a shocking kick followed by another shocking kick. I thought Salem was going to nail that, but the wind must be causing problems.

Jamar out on full from close range
Sutcliffe(I think) out on the full
Salem out on the full

And Mundy now subbed out after rolling his ankle
Duffman coming off not looking good

Happy to conclude hogan is a lock.

Either collarbone or broken arm for sure ... My bet is collarbone as looks exactly like what I did with mine last year
geez that looked like it hit the post
Salem has been really good with ball in hand other then the goal he missed. He has just been exploited overhead or in one on one contests. If he can rack up the handball receives he will still be a good SC prospect with his disposal
Clearly hit the post

Ground level he seemed alright, it is just overhead he struggled, even when he had position and dropped a couple of marks. He is one I will be watching in a couple of weeks.

When Waters got injured he was the next guy I was looking at. With Waters being a bit cheaper I had him in but if Pearce was looking to firm come round 1 I was likely to do the swap with the questions on Beaus body.
Vandenberg in Laverde out.
Hogan looks good and you have to lock him in at that price.
Salem in for now although he still needs to prove him self.

Rookies are a crap shoot until they are named round 1.
I ended up bringing in Vandenberg in after the Carlton game last week when I was unimpressed with Boekhorst and thought he might end up the sub come round 1. I need to see more from Boekhorst before locking him in even if he does fill a need.

Some of the TOG% stats are a little off on the AFL site.
Blakely 48% and Newton 86% are totally wrong
Does anyone know if these get updated later or is it a case of "Its NAB, no one cares"
Surprised the Clancee Pearce threads haven't popped up yet after his score tonight.
Apart from the 3rd quarter I didn't really notice Lumumba that much, was a bit surprised he scored that much.

It is if you're a natural ball accumulator and steady head but we haven't seen anything from Salem to suggest either of those things just yet. Not a big risk at his price I guess but he's down the pecking order a bit for me

Yep pretty much. I would have him in my 22 every day of the week because of his elite kicking and he'sa natural ball magnet. Reality is he's about 18-25. So when Fyfe and Ibbo come back in next week keep an eye on Clancee's role. One thing he has got going for him atm is that Ross rewards boys that do the hard work and Clancee came back to preseason a lot fitter after doing a lot of work away from the club, which he needed to do after dropping the ball in that area last year
