As there is a top 20,000 league based on last years rankings, I thought it might be a good idea in organisaing a league for those who finished outside the top 20,000.
I'd like it to be for those 2nd year SC players like me who really enjoyed the comp but didn't do the research or fully understand how to maximise overall scoring potential, or for those players who didn't commit last year but are looking to have a great year in 2011.
What are peoples thoughts on creating this type of league ?

Offtopic, but what about in the leadup to the season we get people to rate last years startong team we had?
Mine would get 0/10 :(
Lol bb , mine would get 0/10 also :( . I remember last year I picked my team based on the round 1 teams and the possible high scorers in that round. Not a good strategy I later found out :P , but rookies are allowed to make mistakes.
If this gets enough interest I might start a list.
I did it for 2 years prior (not seriously) in my first ever year i picked dean brogan on the bench. I took it seriously this year but i still failed :(

We must have finished side-by-side bb. My average was 2123.5 and I finished 30,501 overall. I was happy with that, but I ran out of trades with 4 weeks left.

Yes naste that was one of my biggest mistakes last year. Wasting trades on sideways trades and on rookies who only had limited games. Will be much better prepared this year ;)

Anyone who finished ranked over 20K last year can join HP. I was just stating that this would be a good league for 2nd year players like myself to join, but like I said it is open to anyone who ranked over 20K last year :)

Please could I join up? I played half a season last year as a practice run. I seem to have got the hang of things and am aiming for a good showing this year.

Sorry guys, my score pulled our average down. I have both Foley and Selwood in my team and I scored less than 2,000 :-[ Hopefully Ballpit Chaos can put in a better effort next week :-\

Cheers j ;) It was an inspired captains performance from Buddy whiched helped build such an impressive total. It also makes a difference when guys like JSelwood play a full game and rack up the possies ::)

Our league has climbed up to 174th overall :) Surely we can't be far away from those Top 20,000 league snobs :P
j959 is now sitting atop the leaderboard on his own and is yet to be defeated, but the competitiveness of the FanFooty Predators will ensure j959's dominance will come to an end soon.
Keep up the great work guys, lets shoot for the top 100 ;D
