First Elimination Final
Carolina Panthers 18.9.117 lost to Quito Quetzals 20.10.130
(Real: 1756 vs 1952)
Big score in a big win for the Quetzals, while Carolina - although a reasonable score - depart finals in the first round. Plenty of centurions for Carolina but with plenty of passengers as well, as has been the case all year. Quito pretty decent and consistent across the board, with a 150+ as well to help out.
Best
Carolina: Bontempelli, Shiel, Grundy, Naughton, Stringer, Kelly, Martin
Quito: Ross, Lynch, McCluggage, Vlastuin, Lycett, Rich, O'Brien, Greene, Worpel
Second Elimination Final
Las Vegas Sinners 18.12.120 lost to Boston Terriers 19.10.124
(Real: 1806 vs 1855)
Las Vegas were fine, but Boston were just too good. Very few passengers on both sides, but only four 120+ scores - all for Boston, including C and VC, which was the difference in the end. Las Vegas unlucky to bow it with a 120+ score, but if you want to win in finals they need more scores like...125+.
Best
Las Vegas: De Goey, Rockliff, Lyons, Harmes, Dawson, Gresham, Fyfe
Boston: Goldstein, Darling, Sheed, Neale, Redden, Howe, Thomas
Qualifying Final
Wisconsin Cockerels 21.10.136 defeated Anaheim Mighty Ducks 15.14.104
(Real: 2035 vs 1562)
Not only did Wisconsin top 2k...but they did it with Witherden getting hurt on 4 as well! If Witherden could only manage 65 (the second lowest Wisconsin scorer), they would've ended up on 2157/144, which would've been immense but doesn't matter too much as you don't count percentage in finals (lucky for Anaheim). On the other hand, Anaheim were really bad. A 152 from Hawkins was huge and salvaged a sub-1500 score - they played like the 8th highest scoring team in the comp that's for sure!
Best
Wisconsin: Macrae, Miller, Gawn, Kennedy, Zorko, Duncan, O'Meara, Hartlett, Daniel
Anaheim: Hawkins, Boak, Kennedy, Miles, Dangerfield
