What happened with Dangerfield's groin?
Nothing much from the club but groin problem that also hindered him in GF last year could be the dreaded OP who knows but it's enough to put a line through him for me at his price.

That Whitfield news isn’t ideal. I want to start him. His bye is preferable. I could swap him for Laird and will if by R1 that looks the thing to do. Laird’s bye is the thing stopping me atm.

This one will throw a lot of teams into a rebuild.

With Rozee carrying a foot injury and Milera out a gun and rookie to replace them looks the go... just have to weigh up whether to strengthen forwards or backs now.

"There is a lot of other damage in there as well, including a strain to the ACL. The good news is that there is no tear to the ACL.

At least Freo are one of the earlier games and we will get the chance of seeing if Treacy is in. Wouldn’t mind him at F8.

Rowell subbed out in the 1st with a knee injury. Didn't look serious though.
Dew just said that they don't think Rowell's injury is too serious, but it will keep him out for a few weeks
More to come, but sounds like he has to be traded
Why is Gold Coast hellbent on making Rowell an instant mid gun he is a kid and needs to be eased into AFL like all kids , he needs to be used outside or half forward or even some time in the 2's or his body will be flowered before it has a chance to mature and is the reason I didn't pick him.

From AFL website tonight
"After being subbed out of the game in the third quarter, Caldwell will be likely sidelined for 6-8 weeks with a significant hamstring injury."
THE HORROR news has continued at Carlton, with star forwards Jack Martin and Zac Fisher both set for extended periods on the sidelines with injuries sustained in last week's defeat to Collingwood.

Sounding serious, bugger, thanks RD.
Neale injured his ankle. He was struggling to run and was actually looking to handball from free kick/mark situations so he wouldn't have to kick. He might be in trouble for next week
Dusty concussed and an eye injury. Will miss next week at the minimum.
Ziebell copped a knee/hip to the back while standing in the hole from Treacy. Seemed to get up and be moving okay afterwards but didn't return. I feel he should be able to suit up next week and might just have a nice bruise.
Don't need any more reasons to bring in Fin Macrae early. Brockman also hurt himself in the VFL, dead weight by the looks of things.

and a few more to add
Essendon: Jake Stringer (Hamstring) Expected to miss 3-4 weeks
Essendon: Jye Caldwell (Hamstring) may require surgery, Remains out for an extended period
Western Bulldogs: Lachie Hunter (broken hand surgery) Plate to be inserted, out for at least the short term via @Stevo7AFL
Port Adelaide: Zak Butters (Ankle/ nerve damage around knee area) Expected to miss further time to allow a full recovery
Port Adelaide FC Dan Houston has been cleared of any further injury to his shoulder and will be monitored throughout the week to determine his availability for Round 9
I really want Houston but that shoulder appears to be causing him grief. It killed his game against us and now he was subbed out with it last weekend. If he misses this week he will be a perfect option for a Kosi upgrade
