If anybody wants GOAT, check my league side's percentage
Anyway, with three rounds to go our league finalists are pretty much set (the teams, not the order), unless LVS pull off a miracle and go 3-0 while San Francisco or Wisconsin go 0-3. As for the reserves, that's a different story. Rockford and Milwaukee are sixth and seventh with 7-7 records, and technically the only team safe are the top-placed Nevada Desert. Suffolk are also breathing down the top six's necks at 6-8 but having a great percentage thanks to the biggest score of the season (and biggest win), and Galapagos are still in the hunt.
This round -
The two 4-10 teams, Chicago and NBH, go at it. NBH smashed it last week and a win would allow them to jump the Sharks. In the reserves, Harlem want a win to have any chance at claiming the minor premiership, while Rockford need a win to stay in the top six.
If the Sinners want any chance of playing finals, they'll have to win here. Luckily, they play the lowly Otters in what should be comfortable wins for their league and reserves sides.
Carolina should have far too much firepower for Colorado in both league and reserves as they press their claim to jump spots in both competitions.
Probably the match of the round for the League and Reserves comps. Boston have been poor as of late and fourth-placed Houston would love a win to just about secure a top four spot, while in the reserves Suffolk had a huge outing last week and will need to replicate something similar to beat a very good Rio Grande Valley, the highest scoring team for the season.
This would've been a good game last week, but luckily for Anaheim (and unluckily as always for SF) Ablett and Waite will be missing for Wisconsin. It could and hopefully will be close, but the Ducks should get up. In the reserves, a win for Milwaukee could launch them into the top six, while the Dragons showed they're no push-overs last week but are probably just playing for pride at this point.
In our last game, San Francisco and Stanford are a combined 19-9, while Quito and Galapagos are 6-22. You'd think that would make it a stomping, but I have a feeling that won't be the case. SF's injuries continue to mount, while Quito have shown scoring potential this season. Looking to the reserves and Quito should be favourites, given Stanford's few players available (and how crummy they are).
Las Vegas Sinners
DEF: Jake Lloyd, Nic Newman, Lachie Plowman, Jake Carlisle
MID: Tom Rockliff (C), Nathan Fyfe, Tom Mitchell(EVC), Jarryd Lyons, Josh Caddy, Sam Powell-Pepper
RUCK: Shane Mumford
FWD: Lance Franklin (VC), Justin Westhoff, Taylor Walker, Jeff Garlett
UTI: Jordan DeGoey, Zak Jones, George Hewitt
EMERG: Brad Sheppard(DEF), Billie Stretch (MID)(SUB), Clay Smith(FWD), Majak Daw(RUC)
Reserves -
George Hewitt (C), Christian Petracca ,Jade Gresham, Tim OBrien, Matt kennedy, Andrew McGrath, Jed Bews, Lynden Dunn, Harry Taylor, James Harmes
This is quite possibly the best team I have fielded all season, so feel confident we can make a late run for finals!!

Chicago Sharks 17.9.111 defeated New Brooklyn Hawks 17.8.110
(Real: 1665 vs 1661)
Wowee, this match sure delivered as the Sharks get across the line for a few reasons - NBH CC Cripps getting hurt early; Ryder's late heroics; and the HGA of Liam Picken snagging them the very tight victory. And don't worry, I've double and triple checked the scores.
Best
Chicago: Ryder, Oliver, Parker, Burgoyne, McDonald
Brooklyn: Crouch, Lever, Sidebottom, Brown, Newnes, Crouch, Mayes
Ottawa Otters 14.10.96 lost to Las Vegas Sinners 18.8.116
(Real: 1438 vs 1732)
The Sinners keep their finals hopes alive and boost their percentage in a nice win over the struggling Ottawa. Four scores in the 130s was always going to be enough to secure the win, while Ottawa just had far too many passengers - highlighted by Captain Treloar's miserable 61.
Best
Ottawa: McLean, Dixon, Cunnington
Las Vegas: Fyfe, Westhoff, Mitchell, Walker, Lyons, Franklin, Plowman
Colorado Avalanche 17.7.109 lost to Carolina Panthers 19.7.121
(Real: 1629 vs 1813)
Probably closer than most people thought it would be, but in the end a comfortable win for the competition's in-form side at the moment. Blues stars Docherty and Murphy lead the way for their sides, while the Panthers GWS brigade of Ward, Kelly, and Patton stood up while they missed Kennedy (injury) and Captain Martin (spud).
Best
Colorado: Murphy, Blakely, Ebert
Carolina: Docherty, Ward, Kelly, Patton, Atkins, Shiel

Is that really all our reserves got? Josh Wagner to include as well.

Alright so issues aplenty - normally when both teams name their ressies I don't touch either side, I only do that when one (or both) sides don't name a side. I spit it into my machine and the scores pop out and I write those in the thread.
I normally wouldn't add J. Wagner 63 or make the addition of a captain (J. Geary 89) because that's arguably on the person who names the side, but I can definitely see why they should be awarded - since my side is involved in this idk where I stand with ethical issues and such. I'm happy to give up the W but I'll confer with Nige first.
And yes, I know those last two paragraphs might not make sense but bear with me.
Yeah I'm happy to add on the 63 (Wagner) and Geary (89) after discussion.
I'm not looking for a captain score, just Wagner's. I didn't name a skipper so I don't get one.
to make reserves more competitive next year can emergencies who don't play count

Too bad ;D what's fair is fair, every other team got a captain so you deserve one too (no matter what).

Nahhhh, that'd make it too easy for people. I like only having four guys playing in the twos :P
k don't ask me to care about reserves then

This was a ridiculously close game! Boston are still on autopilot with their coach missing and were an undermanned mess in the end. Those who played still did pretty well, but if there were 18 Terriers out there, this result would have been different so Houston will be happy to get away with this.

Wisconsin won't be happy here. It was a pretty close match but the efforts, or lack thereof, from Charlie Cameron probably cost them the game as Anaheim fly out with an important away win.

A super close game here too! Quito had a chance to upset to one of the stronger teams in the comp but just fell a tad short while the Grizzlies can thank their lucky stars.
Geez, how many close losses now for Quito? Starting to stack up... :-\
